The base fly speed is slower than vanilla's creative mode, but Pegasi are able to dash while in flight, since Alicorns have magic (which replaces the energy bar, and for balancing reasons) they cannot fly as fast. Next, Unicorns are the most powerful magic uses for balancing reasons. If Alicorns had access to the highest tier of magic, no one would play any other class/type of pony because they aren't as powerful as an Alicorn. Also, the other spells haven't been added yet. If you want faster flight or stronger magic, you'll have to play as a Pegasus or a Unicorn, respectively.
Hey ShetiPhian, my friend and I found another couple of bugs. This pops up about once a minute in the command window (launched from a .bat file).

I assume you're using the MineLittlePony mod. (Little other reason to be here really.) Have you tried your hand at the Minecraft Pony Creator? There's also a skins and request thread that you could check out. There might be someone in that thread that can help you out.

ShetiPhian will have to answer you on why it's .jar, but I'm guessing it to due with the fact that it requires ForgeModLoader to run properly. And since it runs off of FML, it just goes into your mods folder and it does its job.

This mod does not add structures to the game. So you will have to create your own Cloudsdale.
Ah, that's much more helpful. The blinking could be caused from the tree being full of apples or cherries (depending on the tree obviously) and the apples/cherries are popping off onto the ground so more can grow. But, if you're not finding the apples/cherries on the ground after the blink, it could be an issue between PixelPowers and Optifine.
I haven't ran Optifine in a long time since I don't have an HD texture pack and I don't want (for now) the amazing visuals that it produces, so I don't have it installed to try and reproduce the issue.
I can provide some extra detail on the bug of "flowers in the flower pot give daffodils" exKira found. The bug is produced by the flower pots added with 1.4. Since this flower pot is a "vanilla item" (by Mojang) and not a mod item, it doesn't support the flowers added by the mod (easily noticable with the flower changing to a rose when you place it in the pot). The mod's flower pot is the block tall pot, the vanilla flower pot is the tiny flower pot.
I was not able to reproduce the apple/cherries blinking bug, and some extra detail at where they were blinking would be helpful (eg. on the tree, on the ground, in inventory, etc.).
Finally, Poison Joke is fully implemented. When you touch it, you'll get a random buff or debuff shortly after.
Glad we were able to be of service, ShetiPhian. I've worked on some mods before (I'm still in the process of learning to program so I haven't focused stayed working on a mod long term yet), but I know how much of a pain one little thing can be when it just causes everything to break. I'll gladly help you in any way I can, even if it's just finding bugs. =)
Hey ShetiPhian, got a few server bugs that my friend and I haven't noticed before. I play pegasus and he plays earth pony, and I apologize if you know some or all of these bugs already or if they aren't bugs and just us being incompetent. (Note: These are only present on a server running PixelPowers, the bugs were spotted on a fresh install of PixelPowers version 1.4.2B on the server.)
All entities will take suffocation damage when in cloud blocks.
Cloud Edges are considered full blocks for suffocation damage. (You can still move into the edge and will be stopped when you come into contact with the actual edge, but the damage is dealt as if you were in a normal block.)
All ponies have the strength of an earth pony and can punch out blocks like an earth pony can.
These are the only bugs we've spotted so far, but we'll keep a lookout for any others we might stumble upon. (Absolutely awesome mod, by the way. =D)
I just used it to find one of the strongholds in a new world, and it was spot on. My coordinates were x: 664, z: -794 and my seed was -7564432966213283149 (it was randomly generated). Awesome tool, that's for sure!
