Oh my, well here is some feedback.

Obsidian is UGLY, it tiles really bad.

Stone Brick is the MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN.

Glad you like the stone brick =)

I'm still tweaking obby tiling, hence WIP. Let me know if there is anything else that doesn't tile well.

Did you make your textures by editing faithful's textures, or from scratch?

Scratch. It was a pain to have to up-res all of the vanilla textures I edited in, but worth it.

It might be nice to add some screenshots.

Noted. I will start taking screenshots soon.

    Truthful Textures Overlay: Resource Edition!

Hello everyone! I'm InvaderMEEN; YouTuber, grapic artist, and writer!
It is my pleasure to present to you my custom texture pack: the Truthful Textures. It's a texture pack inspired by the well-known Faithful texture pack. At first it was merely a Faithful variant, but now, it is on it's way to be it's own standalone pack! For now, however, it's an overlay that is used over the Faithful texture pack.

    Disclaimer:

DISCLAIMER: All textures in this pack are textures created by me, InvaderMEEN. I specifically went in and made new textures to replace the Faithful placeholders I was using, by using the vanilla textures as a baseline for my custom, high-res version.

This pack's theme is reflected in it's title: I wanted a texture pack, like Faithful, that was like the default Minecraft textures but also remained true to real life.

    Screenshots

    Vanilla (no shaders/visual mods)

    With Shaders

    Showcases

Here is a video I made showcasing the pack:

Yes, in case you were wondering, I was using Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders in the video.

    Recommended Usage:

I would highly, highly suggest also downloading the Faithful Texture pack, and installing it alongside this one. Then, when you are in the resource pack screen, arrange the two like so:

This is because the Truthful pack is still a work-in-progress, so there would be a lot of missing textures if you installed it on it's own.

    Known Issues

    Tall Grass is half-finished
    All enchanted books are invisible
    Custom lava isn't working
    Compass needle has disappeared!
Clocks don't work (pinkness of doom)
    Nether Portal is blue o_o
    Bed isn't HD
Brewing stand is the wrong height

Oh man, seriously: Why are the other dimensions always getting the cool stuff while nether remains boring?

Okay, so now reasons why the nether could be a bit techier:

    1. It makes perfect sense. We got a dimension which is filled with materials that can be used to make some technology. We got netherrack which, while it burns infinitly long, is also very resistent to heat and never melts(if you would place a giant stone in a lava filled ocen, it would liquefy, no matter what. Netherrack stays). If you want something that doesn't burn, netherbrick has similar propertys. Lava is a very powerful power source, and we got plentiful in the nether.
    2. It's is the counterpart of the zenith(or rather skylands). What is the counterpart of magic? I say technology! Why should the zenith get both and the nether nothing at all?
    3. The guys at mojang already did the step in the direction. The blaze looks, bahaves and sounds like a robot. Why shouldn't we build up on it?
    4. The nether can be hell and technologic at the same time, the one doesn't exclude the other. Indeed, the one would support the other: Nether is hell, right? Fire, lava, fire, ghasts, evil things, fire(mentioned three times 'cuz it's everywhere). Which suicidal race would try to populate the minecraft hell without any help at all? So they used their knowledge and built some robots based on lava and stuff. Sounds plausible, doesn't it?
    5. Why would people not like it? For now, everyone found the idea of a tech-nether awesome(or at least good, but they never said anything negative).
    6. I don't think vanilla nether isn't likable anyway. It's monotonous. It's a big red rock filled with some lava and air. Adding technology would give the nether just what it needs: An additional flavour.

I can think of thousand more reasons why it would be perfect for the nether, but I am too lazy to write all that stuff. That should be enough.

Oh yeah, this one is pretty valid, too.

    7. If they don't like how we changed the nether in the mod, they don't have to use the mod. The tech nether would be an essential part of the mod, if they like the rest of the mod, they can see over it. So they can instal the mod and like it or not like the mod and get the **** off. Simple, huh?

    I agree!

I think that all Zenith magic/technology should be based on crystals and steam whereas the Nether's should be things like fire.

    Enjoy :D

Tameable? I'm not sure yet. Item used could be honey since they have a rivalry with Bees. The honey could serve as an Alchemy Catalyst too.

This has probably been the most fun to make at the moment.

Whoa, what program did you use for the badger?

How about a new mob for the guardians of dungeons, the Steambot?
It would be a steam punk themed automaton that seems to be the result of ancient super-advanced technology, left behind by a mysterious race of people that were wiped out. The villagers in the Zenith could be thier descendants, or a sister race or something.

    Quote from shadooklaw

no, that theme is probably fir the nether, because of the blaze serpent.

I guess so, but ever since I played Metroid Prime 3 and watched Castle in the Sky I always thought that sky areas should have ruins with ancient, partially functioning technology.

posted a message on PayPal won't process?
I have been trying to buy an account for my sister for about 3 months now.
Every time I go to buy it for her (logged in as her, not me =P) and I fill out the information, all I get is this:
"Error: for some reason your request was denied to be processed."

It says the same thing when I try to buy a gift code.

Can you please give me a fix?
