Would it be possible to have a screenshot of the interior, too?
Also, a variation of the original buildings would be quite interesting, but so far it does look like they have to be the same size as they started. Just in case you didn't know (Y) :smile.gif:
Updated my earlier post with it, they don't understand furnace facing but they were able to put the rest of it together so I'll give them that!
Also, I'm already knee deep in the whole mess and no, you don't need to keep them the same size at all. My version of lumberdude's hut as well as my town hall take up more space than the original plans.
My rendition of the farm and lumbermanshut. These are both second and final upgrade. First Farmhouse is all wood without a porch, first upgrade adds cobblestone cornering and an attic, second adds the porch, stone cornering, and windows. First Lumberhouse is all wood without a porch as well, first upgrade adds a second story sort of and cobble cornering to it, second adds the porch, smooth stone, and windows. I'm about four buildings away from having /core done with.
So I wanted to make a blacksmith because hell yeah blacksmithery. There's four furnaces, a water thing, and an anvil on the inside of it. This is blacksmith_1, the previous version has a wooden roof and the smooth stone replaced with cobble.
Other than that I am trying to stylize all of the original buildings to be a tad less boring, would anyone be interested in that?
Looks ****ing retarded. Doesn't look like NYC at all, not to mention you stole buildings from broville without giving credit.
if its retarded i think your the only person who dont like it , if you dont like it shooo! show me a better city for minecraft , its not even finished yet . and im doing it alone , and minecraft is all blocky that makes it harder to make a city
Pretty sure this gentlemen is not the only one that does not find this work-in-progress all that impressive, just one of the few that feels the need to voice it. There are several buildings blatantly lifted from Broville, including Brocorp and the Radio tower from the screenshots. The map reveals what appears to be Broville General Hospital, the Pantheon, and I'd be damned if that wasn't our dock design you pasted in six times. If you're going to build something big and crazy I would suggest doing a bit more research on building designs, varying the wall layouts on them, and learning how to utilize voxel work if minecraft is "too blocky" for you. Oh and a better city I might be able to show you. It has a really cool aesthetic to it and is just plain fun to explore, you might have heard of it: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24148
