This actually made logging in HARDER, as I had to log in with Twitch, but I couldn't with my MCF account. Had to fiddle with email and passwords for a stupidly long amount of time. 💯/💯

I'd love it if glass was textured like how it is in the city texture pack.

I used to be jealous that the PS4 wasn't getting this "up"date.

Did they remove Exit w/out Saving just so the isolated versions don't look objectively worse?

I love the new stone bricks, the mossy variant is especially superb! The recipe book is also nice.

Is Mojang working on current features of the game? They're out of ideas!
Is Mojang working on new ideas? They're too lazy to improve what they already have!
Working on features already existing doesn't indicate lack of inspiration, it's a normal part of game development. And whatever the community is used to doesn't define what should(n't) be in the game.
OT: Like a lot of people, I think the new textures look too blurry, but I can imagine a compromise between the old and new textures looking awesome. -

Why is Mumbo's videos always posted on here? I like his content, but if you do too, just subscribe. This is becoming like a subscription feed, but only showing half the videos.

Hooray! The map looks great as usual, and we're getting banners too! I guess I was a bit hard on 4J, I thought it would take forever for the next game update (not just maps and texture packs) but it's finally here
P.S. I need clarification. Are we getting one single map devoted to the new pack?

Functionality is first. I once was unable to join a match THREE TIMES all because of different reasons that shouldnt be happening. Just unacceptable.
But I will say, I'm not really obsessed with "catching up" to PC. We never will. PC features will be added in time (hopefully not 1.10 combat). Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition should be its own game, not an exact replica of its predecessor.

Look at my profile and you'll see a bunch of idea threads for minigames. Some features in this new update seem pretty similar to mine (e.g. spectators slowly breaking blocks, potions mode for tumble and more). Was the update partially based of my threads?
If yes, I don't want to be put in the Credits or anything If no, I tried!

I'd think it would be better to have a predominantly dark steampunk theme with a bit of etherealness to it.

I said I was leaving the forum, but maybe I'll drop by once in a while to post on a thread I like
Since we're on the steampunk theme now, how about we reintroduce gears? They could be vertical redstone.
And since steampunk is a very manmade theme, there should also be a lot of varied generated structures. Chimneys that emit blinding smoke, elaborate redstone traps, etc.
EDIT: How about rather than a traditional dimension, it's one giant procedural structure? It would really fit the dimension well. And perhaps you can't break blocks already there until you do a special task. E.g. I had a Mansion Dimension idea where you had to kill a special Illager before you could break what was there.

I'm gonna leave now. I have a few reasons for this:
1. MASTERMINED IS LEAVINGThat's a huge bummer, but that's not why I want to leave.1. Posting feels like a chore. Even this.
2. My favorite forum, Suggestions, has become trash, and the Suggestions I put effort it get virtually no recognition. There's so much junk and people care so little for the rules that threads are constantly locked. And to even get a chance for a remotely popular suggestion, you have to 1. make it impeccably detailed and in-depth, or 2. make it disgustingly terrible and exploit people's anger to get replies. I'm not doing either of those things.
3. I don't need the articles, I can just follow all the Mojang devs on Twitter.
Bye y'all. Don't manipulate negative groupthink attitudes to maximize your thread popularity on the Suggestions forum!

The 3rd paragraph provides a intelligent and sensible solution to the problem of tools barely getting XP. But what axe/shovel blocks specifically give XP?
Support.

Well, change that too: maybe it reduces their visibility of mobs by 67%.

I don't think it should be all downsides, though. Other mobs should also be blinded.
Partial Support.

Dang it, I had this idea, why didn't I post it??
*slightly salty* Support.

Yes, people usually want to reply more if they can unite in either approval or disapproval (e.g. Bedrock Armor vs Merge With Roblox).
I have considered this strategy before: Make a polished suggestion, post a flawed version of it, and get more replies that way. Build up the suggestion over time until it has lots of replies, then use the polished version.
OT: I like the end island idea too!

We don't need a super emerald. We don't need a pickaxe buff. These remove the value of both emerald and diamond (diamond is no longer needed to mine obsidian, and californium is just too rare to effectively balance).

Here are some more for the sword:
This sword could break obsidian clean in half in its heyday.
This was pulled from a moss stone boulder.
A tool that $@?#%+£ once used on... expeditions.
"Sharpen a stick real well 'n it'll do ya more good."
"Oh, THAT button means throw!"
"I'll just store this away while I investigate those strange, dim tunnels I've seen lately..."
Really great way to satisfy everyone. Support!

Yes, it is. Go back to sleep and you'll see the post actually looks like this:
"yoyoyo waszup guyss???? i want moar powrefull armoar tan dimand mozang y isnt vis in game?!?! badreck armoare is inviensible frum EVREIYFING and it's a common drop from pigs"
OT:
Like Genius_idiot, i think the armor shouldn't be immune to certain damage, but near immune (90%-95%).I changed my mind on this, since bedrock armor is extremely rare. It would be cool if the end bunker emitted gray particles, but once you've opened a chest inside, the particles disappear and the bunker becomes destructible. But this is an amazing suggestion with lots of effort poured into it. Proper spelling & grammar, well thought out content, sensible polls, good formatting, understandable images, custom structures that you actually built, links to essential information... and LOOT TABLES?! Wow!
If we can't have a Suggestions Guide, pin this to the front as THE example suggestion. This thread has earned you an extra follower.

Food in battle is binary: either you have enough food to last and you can afford to throw some away to save space, or you don't have enough (or any) and starve. Both of these outcomes are unfair.
What I propose is to create more food insecurity: your hunger bar is always somewhere in the middle. To create this, all food will be replaced with raw and poisoned potatoes.
EVERY chest will contain food but the center chests. Not a scrap. With the outer chests, you'll always find 1-6 hunger points worth of food per chest.
Here's how the odds would be distributed:
HG=Hunger points
1HG & 5HG=12.5%
2HG to 4HG=75%
A chest that scores 6HG will have a golden carrot, with a chance of 12.5%.
Common chests have a 25% chance to have a poisoned potato per chest, while rare chests have a 10% chance.
All of this means extreme outcomes (starvation and food security) would be very unlikely. Instead, players will always have to scavenge without their death being sealed by bad luck, and teams that camp in the center will have more difficulty surviving.
Any comments, questions, and suggestions?

So you just admitted to Badprenup and everyone else that you posted an unfinished suggestion?
If your idea isn't finished, that's fine. There isn't a timer that's forcing your suggestions to be complete. But with two specials things known as time and effort, you can make a finished suggestions that's detailed. Posting your idea before its fully developed is just saying to everyone that you skimped out on both of those things.
This is the Discussion forum. Everything can be discussed. What's the use in stating such a thing?
Like Badprenup said, details matter. Without them, I can't know if your idea is balanced. Doesn't that hint that the purpose of these suggestions is to critique the OP's suggestion to discuss if it would be a good fit for the game? "Enrich the ideas of the overall playerbase to indirectly influence their interactions with Mojang?" What?
1
It's not the critic's job to add the finishing details. If it worked like that, a suggestion only containing the words "add guns" would be considered valid.
But I do agree that specifics aren't the point of the post: they're half of it. Good suggestions are a balance of concept and execution (AKA the specifics). This suggestion as it is might as well be considered half-finished.
Since no one knows any specific attributes of this structure other than vague generalizations (hard to get, limited, etc.), it's gonna be difficult for a lot of people to support, including myself.
