Jul 5, 2011Inde97 posted a message on 1.8 Updates: New Logo, More InfoWell, I wasn't the only one to notice the torch being carried. It probably won't happen, but 'tis something to give a moment to ponder.Posted in: News

Jun 28, 2011Inde97 posted a message on 1.8 Updates: Game Modes, SMPSo, seeing as 1.7 has become 1.8 except for the pistons, I would think it'd be possibe for them to push it back later, (but maybe add in the new mobs in a small update) and release the full adventure update in 1.9 or 2.0 in November when the game is fully released.Posted in: News

Optifine allows you to choose what to change, so if the underground view is something you want to change, you can do that only. Of course, though, it has options to boost general fps too.

You, sir, sound as if you think nothing is going to be finished. It has been announced that there will the AI specialist, so the NPCs trampling their crops hopefully won't be in there, and if you kept up with the news at all, you'd know that in the latest snapshot, sheep regrow their wool. If Minecraft were a game made by a professional company, then your complaints would be warranted, but seeing as it still well under development, the criticizing of confirmed features not being here at THIS moment is a bit ridiculous.

They are programmed to shoot as soon as they spot you. I tested it out in Creative. I spawned a skeleton, and waited until its back was turned before punching it. Before it had even turned around, an arrow had been fired right in my direction.

Then don't waste your time coming in here to whine about it.
As for the caves, that is pretty cool. Any chance for a seed and some coords?

1. Find someone's large stash of diamonds.
2. Proceed to turn all of their diamonds into diamond hoes.
3. Put a sign in the area that says, "Are a pimp? You have all these hoes up in here."

Judging by your join date, you've been playing for over a year, if not longer. I assume you've pretty much done everything possible in the game. If you want, there are plenty of mods as others have said, but if you don't want those, try an adventure map, or a different play style. Be creative with it, but I'm feeling that the move with the armor was well worth it. Diamonds are harder to find now anyway, so the new armor system makes the work worth it. It also makes PvP last longer, and not just "click, click, click" with a wooden sword.

:huh.gif: = enemy
= lava
= door
Edit: I realize how horrible that depiction is. Basically, you set up a lava fall from the top of the map, or high enough that the enemy would die or be extremely weak when they teleport over. You could then add doors underneath it, blocking access to it. The only question I have is if they could mine under it.

Well, keep in mind it hasn't been even announced officially yet, but judging from Spark's Twitter, and their liberal use of "far, far away," the word "front," and other Star Wars or Battlefront words, even that is good evidence of itself it is in development.

I'm not sure how many of you are Star Wars fans, or how many liked the Star Wars Battlefront series. If you are, I'm sure you've heard rumors of Star Wars Battlefront 3. I'm here (with a bit of proof) to show you why I think it is still being developed. Any loose ends I leave will probably be explained in some of the videos, so its worth checking them out.
First, I show you this:
This is some gameplay footage of Star Wars Battlefront 3 from Free Radical.
Well, that video shows that the game was being developed as late as 2008. The actual time span of development easily goes further before that.
And now:
Those three videos are from a Youtuber named TuggieGameReviews. These three videos contain a wealth of information about possible production of the game. I suggest you take a look at them.
Now that I've gotten most of the videos, I'll just move straight on to some facts (links coming very soon.)
1. Lucas Arts recently signed on to the U3 engine, and within a short time, Spark Unlimited did too.
2. Reading through Spark Unlimited's job listings on their website, they are "in FULL PRODUCTION of a high-profile, popular game property for a major publishing partner. With the public disclosure expected sometime in 2012, we are looking for innovative and creative professionals to bring to life a Triple-A game for an awaiting, highly critical audience." That quote goes on to mention the U3 engine.
3. They are currently looking to hire positions for a science-fiction game.
4. Lucas Arts has recently renewed their website domain for www.starwarsbattlefront3.com. Typing it in takes you directly right to starwars.com as of this moment.

Edit: Videos should be fixed now.

You said you had it for a few days. Was that just ingame days, or real life days?
