    Where is the link to the "wiki" the OP mentions but doesn't actually LINK to?

    As such, what commands are available in this (IE. What does this thing actually DO?)

    As with WorldEdit, can I make a selection, change it's extents with //expand X up, //expand X down, and force it to regenerate from the world;s seed?

    I have many "plots" on my server that need to be set back to their virginal status. Downloading the ENTIRE world, changing it in MCEdit, and uploading it again (just to change an 80x80x256 area) is a bit of a pain.

    Couple things I'd like to see.

    •Straw Golems that know how to harvest flax.

    •Golems that know how to climb ladders (since it seems like creepers know how, this shouldn't be too hard).

    Today all our nodes are gone.

    Well, they are not gone they are at 0/xxx. Lastly these are just the ones we KNEW about, if new chunks are loaded new nodes appear. Also SOME silverwood trees still have them.

    The huge pure node near spawn and then huge evil one not too far off are just gone?

    How does this happen and what do we do?

    Thanks for the suggestions. I am surprised how little information there is on the internet about games that people have played _inside_ Mine-craft.

    I was thinking about assigning roles. Like Explorer, Town Guard, Farmer, Miner, Builder. I was also looking for success stories to see if others have done this (I am sure they have) and how it turned out.

    I haven't had my server up for some time. Before I hosted a server for about 5 months and ,while we had more on the whitelist, had an average of 8 users on at any given time.

    It looks like they are ALL going to come back when we have a 1.0 Launch Party Saturday Night.

    I have, in the past, laid out plots and TOLD people where they could build. That was nice for awhile. Esepcially when, due to constant Biome changes, I was having to prune back anything beyond that grid system with each "patch".

    Now we are going to have close to 20 people in a virginal world. Do any of you have any ideas for meta games? Any meta games you have played yourself or seen on other servers or on this board. We had talked a little bit about having a group project to build a town together, assign roles and skins based on those roles and do a little bit of light Role Playing in it all. Dunno if we will do that.

    What do you do when you get that many people together from the start? I do want to encourage people to build near-ish to the spawn point and each other so we don't have to go to the ends of the earth to find one another. Massively Single Player is no fun.

    Thoughts?

    I don't know if Notch even reads these.

    I would really like to see him turn the dirt we find underground and in caves to clay. IRL about three feet under the ground, in most places in the world, you will dig down and then can't easily anymore as you hit clay and it is VERY hard to dig through. IT's thick and rubbery and this is why so many civilizations build huts out of mud and clay.

    Make clay nearly as hard to get through as obsidian (I said nearly) and make all dirt three blocks below sealevel be clay. Then we could build houses out of brick easier, though it would be more work to -get- the clay (unless we have a backhoe).

    Just an idea I have been kicking around since having to dig up the septic tank in our back yard.

    I am on SMP. I managed to get two cows into an 8x8 pen together. I fed them both wheat and... they made a 3rd.

    This one was Not a baby, none of my chickens have been babies (I know they are not chicks just big headed small bodied chickens).

    Now I can't get any of my three, not baby (since I don't have any) to make out again. They get hearts, but refuse to "SEE" eachother. Is there a long cool-down after they "couple"?
