MCPatcher is not compatible with Forge for 1.5.1. I installed MCpathcer, ran Minecraft, it ran fine. I then added Forge into the new Jar, and it crashes. I did also install just forge, and Minecraft worked fine. Therefore they are simply incompatible.
This mod looks incredible. My only concern is one that I have with every mod. The possibility of getting overpowered swords that last a lifetime. Please don't do that... Please try to keep a balance with the vanilla game.
Also good job with the original post. You'd be surprised at how many modders don't even bother to actually SHOW their mod. Some go beyond not putting pictures up and don't even give a description. They rely purely on wiki's. Thank you for not being a lazy dev.
I don't care how many diamonds a sword takes, it's overpowered. Mods like this ruin the long term game experience. You're going to 1 shot things for about 10 minutes before you get bored and quit.
After looking at the messy wiki for this mod (stop relying on wiki's and other people to give info on your mod) I've only found one issue. Gear (Weapons/Armour) scales too quickly. The damage is just ridiculous near end game. It makes replay-ability of past dimensions nonexistent because you become a bulldozer by the end. At that point, the game becomes pointless and boring, which is what this kind of mod should be aiming to avoid.
Even if it takes a while to get there, the fact is you get there. Making it take even longer isn't the answer either. You need a balance between progression and replay-ability.
This mod looks incredible and perfect for what I'm trying to do with my minecraft. In every way, this is easily the best fantasy adventure mod on the entire forum.
However there's one issue... The wiki doesn't give information on monster stats / weapon damage. That is the one thing that could ruin the mod for me - imbalanced/overpowered gear.
Can the dev or someone give me a comparison to gear in the mod to diamond / iron? (ie. Ironwood gear, naga gear, the mino axe etc)
Soooo I like how there's all this information like "75 new mobs.. 7 new dimensions.. BOSSES!" And yet, there is absolutely no information at all about anything in the mod in the OP. None. No crafting recipes, No Real Screenshots (vids yes, screenshots no.), No specifics on what the dimensions are, no information on what mobs there are, no information on the new items (kinda goes with no recipes), nothing. I even downloaded it to see if maybe there were instructions/recipes or something in the zip file? No, nothing.
Lolwtf?
Edit: I imagine someone's going to go off on me thinking that I'm trying to be a douche. But what I said is 100% true. If there's some hidden info link, please by all means, link it.
Treecapitator doesn't work. It doesn't crash minecraft, it just.... doesn't work. It's in the mods list when I open minecraft, and obviously I have minecraft forge. But it has no effect at all.
Where is the save info for Pixelmon stored??? It can't be in the .minecraft file because when I first installed it, I chose charmander as a starter pokemon just testing things out. And now even with a fresh install of EVERYTHING, it remmeber that I picked charmander.
How do I reset Pixelmon??? Where is it storing information?
edit: Nevermind it saves it in a folder called "saves" on the desktop.
No music plays despite the slider being at 100%. All other sounds works, there's just no music. This is in 100% pure vanilla minecraft as well. Freshly installed from Minecraft.exe. Version 1.4.7.

So, what you're saying is, ALL the info is on the main website, which is down right now?
