Any notable achievements in Minecraft? : Aside from SP fun which i enjoy, I have completed and uploaded two longterm projects on the minecraft forums. The first minecraft walmart stocked with near infinite items, every item in the game, aside from a few new ones, it needs to be updated. And my pride and joy the 1:1 scale scrooge mcducks moneybin from ducktales. I used original 1920ish plans from the creator of scrooge mcduck to build it as closely as possible to the real thing. Here is a link to the completed project.

What would you bring to the server? : Well i have the ability to follow instructions, and to of course build. I can follow plans, but most of all i like to help out and mine resources needed for the projects to be complete. I of course would like to have my own home or building of my own.

How did you find MCME? :After seeing the tour via youtube, the recent 45min one, i decided this was the community for me

I hope your's makes the Digital Diamond too.

    HOLY ****!

This deppresses me as mine is all one room, and not nearly as large or difficult. I have never made this sort of map before, and wanted to try it out, but had thought about it for a long time. I didnt really want to make a copy of my own house. But i wanted to do something abit simpler to start. Besides, I can always add more rooms later. Anyway, this is the beta version, i added a computer last night and such. Anyway, thanks for the compliments and encouragement even if mine kinda sucks compared to that guys lol.

I uploaded the map/world. its in beta, as in details still need to be added.but still enjoy it. you will need to use mcedit to switch the spawnplace to somewhere you want do to a mistake. thats the only problem.

enjoy and let me know what you think, remember, hidden ladders are everywhere, so even little you can get on top of things. however, if you want to get outside, i suggest you dig through the wall. little surprises are everywhere so whether in peacefull or hard, you will have fun.

Pretty nice looking. All that waving planks are making me dizzy though.

They dont really wave, unfortunately its part of what happens when you zoom out.

In any event, a few more days and i will be done. I will no doubt finish the main room today. if its a success and people like it, i would expand to include other rooms, which is easy. a kids room, bathroom perhaps. kitchen?

anyway, right now im working on the outside fences for the yard, so anyway, back to work.

Its about half-way complete, lots of details to do, but essencially this will be a giant house that will make you feel like a frickin toy story toy heh. Im using an editor to make everything as the scale is far too massive to do by hand. There is a front yard planned, a sandbox, and the inside is nearly complete, all furniture seen can be accessed via ladders placed everywhere. I have chosen not to include a ceiling, as lighting would be horrible, so no ceiling!

Let me know what you think, if you want the map i will release it for download when completed.

I dont think anyone else has ever done this sort of thing before, so hopefully im the first.

Download the BETA version of my world or house. enjoy, note - you die and need to respawn, switch the respawn point, as there was a mixup. Let me know what you guys think.

posted a message on Redstone blocks?
I suck at redstone, i suck!

so why not improve it and make it easier for people. i cant do circuts properly, and trying to put redstone everywhere pisses me off. So why not simplify, make redstone blocks that act the same way.

say for example ,you used 5x5 pistons, 25 square ones, you cant connect them all to activate at once, you'd have to space them out. its irritating and hard!!!

so why not make solid useable redstone dust blocks that you could simply attach to the back or sides, connect them all together and then attach a switch.

what do you think, it would simplify things!

So you want to make a statue that can move? Or just have sides that pop out a little bit? Or....?

you make it sound crappy, the sides would come out like in portal 2. the sides would come out and go in repeatedly basicly, either randomly or programmed, but they would both come out the same time. its a simple project if you understand redstone.

Ok guys, since pistons were released i had an amazing idea of which i require the help of a skilled redstone technician. I suck at redstone, its so beyond my head.

So here is my idea. I wasnt going to say it in public as i dont wish anyone to copy it ,but i want to ensure i get the credit when it comes out, so my idea is that i build a portal turrent, best possible realism, but not HUGE. maybe 30-40 blocks in height. then using the pistons, allow the side flaps to come out and in with redstone and a repeater. wire it perfectly then copy the design 3-4 more times side by side and overlap the portal 2 turret wife serenade over it, it need not sync perfectly.

What do you guys think, anyone want to help me do something awesome? Also, i'd be creating the portal turret as im pretty good with building in that way.

    Who's with me?

posted a message on 1080p Upconverting video format question.
    Heres my problem, of sorts.

I am upconverting videos i've been collecting over the years, i'm using a program called Ultra video converter, full version. For a test video, it works great. I am converting videos between 2mb and 1gb that are not HD, into HD. Heres the thing, there are dozens of formats i can convert to. So heres my problem, i want to convert the videos into better quality, 1080p. I dont want loss in color or clarity or sound, i did a test converting a wmv file to a H264 mp4 file, it was okay, color faded abit but was overall good. I'm looking for help in this matter.

So here is what i need to know:

What file format is the best for:
*retaining color and clarity or improving upon it
*retaining or improving sound and video clarifty
*Is best for upconverting from non-HD to full 1080p HD or even from lesser quality HD to full 1080p.

I am doing tests, but it takes a while to convert files. Please help! lol

    Thanks

I hope this was made without INVedit.

Seriously, what part of THIS WAS MADE LEGITIMATELY, do you not understand. I Mined everything, made everything. EXCEPT bedrock that was used, unless you can tell me the bedrock formula for this, then i had to use invedit just for the beckrock. but everything else was made from scratch.

You know, everyone seems to ***** and whine and criticize when they see bedrock placed. OF-F*CKING-COURSE people use invedit to get and place bedrock, and anyone seems to f*cking pick on me for using bedrock. well i'm sick of hearing about it, if the creator would be nice enough to make a formula to make admiminum/bedrock, then i'd use it. but even then, i placed the blocks one by one. I mined all the stone, harvested the wood, created the torches, bookshelves, dyed the wool..ect. I did a DAMNED GOOD JOB and all people like you whine about is "hope you didn't use invedit".
