I believe you should play Multiplayer. It, for me personally, makes things 3x better than being by yourself in SP.

this is how you power a door from below.

    [] [] :Logs^: [] []
    [] [] :Logs^: [] []
    :White: :White: :White: :White: :White:
    :Red: :White: [>>-i>] :White: :White:
    :White: :White: :White: :White: :White:

    :White: = block
    :Logs^: = door
    [>>-i>] = redstone torch
    :Red: = wire

you cant just run wire from a input to a redstone torch and have it power anything. it needs to go through at least one simple logic gate.

and if you hook it up this way and the door is open in the off position, you may need to add a second inverter to the circuit.

I have two inverters in my circuit already. And I tried this, seems it didn't work. :sad.gif:

To hide the door wire, do this:
    :Black: :Logs^: :Black:
    :Black: :Logs^: :Black:
    :Black: :Black: :Black:
    :Red: :RFlower: :Black:
Where :Logs^: is the door and :Red: is wire.
EDIT: And :RFlower: is a redstone torch.

It changes, but the door is always shut. The wire that is connected to the torch always seems to be lit. Why?...I have an inverter that leads to one redwire, that then leads to the torch up under the door. So it's one litte wire, thats always lit.

Picture: (Circled torch is up under the door)

I tried running the wire up under the door's block, and the block up under the doors block. I also tried torches. Nothing worked.

Easiest way I could give you is to put the switch on the wall and make the redstone go into the wall.

Thank you! That part is now hidden. :smile.gif:

Not sure I can do that with the door though. :sad.gif:

posted a message on What is wrong with it?!
I think this is the best community to come to. I've never had a problem with hosting RuneScape Private servers. I have my IP set-up, and the only thing that is giving me an error is the port. I tried the default one (25565) and 43594. I added 25565 like I did 43594 in my router settings.

I also have my IP ready. But when ever I start the Minecraft server GUI, it gives me this:

[INFO] Starting minecraft server version Beta 1.1_02
    [INFO] Loading properties
[INFO] Starting Minecraft server on mcworld.no-ip.info:25565
[WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
[WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JVM_Bind
[WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

No other server is running... :/

I have mcworld.no-ip.info set up. And I also have the server configuration file set-up correctly with the right information:

    #Minecraft server properties
    #Fri Dec 24 11:32:41 EST 2010
    level-name=world
    hellworld=false
    spawn-monsters=true
    online-mode=true
    spawn-animals=true
    max-players=4
    server-ip=mcworld.no-ip.info
    pvp=false
    server-port=25565

I got a new computer, with more RAM and Memory. So I'm a bit excited, because the other computer was 4 years old and the whole family used it. But this is MY computer, so games wont be lagging like crazy.
