Recently Dinnerbone from Mojang posted a few interesting pictures on his twitter page with possible sneak peaks of 1.4 content. I think the babies look cool but I hope they're not overpowered. This also might be a way to grind mobs for diamond armour. We will just have to wait and find out for more.
I was messing around with the extended options in optifine like performance and quality in minecraft today today make minecraft look better graphics wise and/or get more FPS and I exited out of the options and in the distance of the snow biome everything looked lined. How can I fix this? Thank you.
Cirrus, based on the picture, that's just a chunk error (They are not harmful or rare) which is like a problem loading the world chunk, and is not a problem with your graphics card. You can fix that by exiting and re-entering the world, That should fix it.
I totally agree, 90% the time I make a new survival world I spawn in a Jungle or in a Tundra biome. We could also use stuff like more realistic biome changes for example in one of my survival worlds I have an ice plains biome then if you take 3 steps you are in a desert biome, it makes no sense. Also, they need to lower the percentage of open caves in plains because most of the time there are like 6 cave mouths in the plains and it makes the land all chewed up and no way to make an underground base without hitting a cave.
Finally! I own both an iTouch, iPad, and XBox. I'm gonna get it on all of them!!! Will there be SMP? Or on XBox will Multiplayer be on XBox Live online? Still, can't wait!
