To build:
1. Create a new 1.5.1 instance
2. Download required Aether II files to the Mods folder in the MultiMC root folder
3. Right click the instance > Edit Mods (Minecraft.jar tab):
i. Click MCForge and select the 7.7.2.682 (last stable build for 1.5.1)
ii. Click Add > Player API universal 1.5
iii. Click Add > Render Player API 1.0
4. Click close and double click the instance to launch.
Well of course SDK's guns mod doesn't work for the server now. He hasn't updated it for the server YET, but he will later. Flan's unofficial patch only works for 1.5.1. Since SDK is back, don't expect that Flan will update his unofficial version anymore.
If you want SDK's guns and planes to be working at the same time, try switching back to 1.5.1.
EDIT: And if you don't have a 1.5.1 server jar, then you should wait until it's released.
All is good in the hood, I got it working. Just a small exception conflict.
----snip1.6.6 - I've been told 1.6.6 didn't break mods, so these should work fine. Some people are saying it's broken but I'll trust the other modders on this one.
snip-----
This is for the single player build, and yes it works just fine (if you have java in your path and are completely updated). The SMP is still broken and will be fixed at the will of the devs on the project. I am just looking for an ETA on the SMP project.
The single player is still working great, no issues with me after fresh install and complete updates. I am, however, having trouble with the SMP. I have been in and out of Flan's Mod unofficial update yet this does not make it compatible for the 1.6.5 servers for some reason.
Still thanks for all who have constructively contributed to the mod, I look forward to seeing it grow. The boys from Apotheosis say cheers and add a pay pal donate button ;D
Updated recently and had some fun tracking down the problems. Currently all of the mods work except the SDK's guns mod for the server. I have tried numerous variations yet it seems the 1.6.5 server is not supported. The server just crashes and does not even generate an error log, it only flashes for a half second before its gone.
My single player SDK is working great, no issues with the 1.6.6 update at all. So far I have not seen or experienced any issues with the game and any of the content. I have a laboratory with one of each item in it to check when I do updates to see if every item is working and all is Jelly.
Any one have a heads up on when the Server SDK will be made compatible, the one on the download link is not currently working for me.
The Order of the Unifying Force is a Star Wars themed organization of like minded people whom are joining together in anticipation of the launch of SW:TOR to form a community of like minded people to enjoy the experiences of the game with.
Currently we are hosting a OUF SMP server with a safe spawn zone, community resource town and the basic mods such as hMod, iConomy and super llama's anti grief pack. No worries if you want a fire glitched log burning in your house or what not just holler and we will mod one up for you :biggrin.gif:
All ages are welcome to apply but not all play styles are welcome. We have weekly PvP events (snow ball fights and archery contests) monthly build contests (water parks, roller coasters and so forth) but the main feature is the freedom to build basically what and where you want with taste and common sense you can enjoy the full features of SMP! Go cave diving with a party, build bases and shoot cannons at each other its all fun and games!
Speaking of lanterns, "why"?
If it's about rain, just put a block over your outdoor torches? :l
I have to say Logan, that is quite the sig here is a few 's for you sir. I would buy you a beer but I currently can not make any with this or yet...
I agree. Lanterns are a nice idea but if you rabbit trail away from the origional concept too much you will lose sight of your project. Get rain/snow/ect stable... then work on features :biggrin.gif: I used to snow and rain in the game during alpha, however, it was linked to the memory leak issue so Notch set it aside while he worked to make the game more stable. I believe we are all eager to see this feature return to the game. Could you convert this to an hMod plugin?
Ok so I think I got it working it seems like it connected to something but all I see is a black screen and the bar that has help and menu on it blinks
I am having the same issue. I uninstalled .net and xna on the client and server. I can see members logging in, moving around but no map is present its just a black field with a white x that is not our spawn point...
I checked out my plugins, they are all installed correctly despite the lack of any installation instructions >.< I set up the proper host IP and others can use their clients yet they all get the same black screen.
Here are some easy steps for windows users:
1. open the mincraft.jar with win rar.
2. extract the rezcraft zip to your desktop.
3. open each folder in the rezcraft and minecraft.jar simultaneously to ensure you copy and paste to the right locations.
4. copy and paste the contents of the folders from the rezcraft folder to the minecraft archive, chose add to archive and make sure the over right existing files is selected (it is by default).
5. once you have finished injecting the mod into the minecraft.jar (read when you are done copy and pasting) then you close out all windows and run the HD patch.
NOTE: when you run the HD patch do not select any texture packs to apply, just set the textures to 64x64, uncheck the lava and water then go.
I installed to my minecraft.jar from a clean download (read no mods previously installed). I am not a mac user so good luck with that :biggrin.gif:
Sadfayse on the memory leaks. Hope you get to finishing this cuz it looks really amazing. So far, it's the best looking Tron texture pack i've seen.
I need to invest in a new laptop so I can work on this. As of now everything is at a stand still. I could still design things, but I will probably need an expert in patching to install and test them.
I have an adequate system you can test on, also we run a full time private server where we are building a Star Wars mod. Feel free to email me :biggrin.gif:
