I'll likely pop up in various mods from time to time if Ri5ux doesn't change his mind, but I don't really have time for my own mod right now. Anyway, isn't something to discuss in this post. I'll take my leave for now.
We had a plan, a small argument turned into a big deal and now he doesn't want my help anymore. Anything other than that isn't relevant.
In any case, thanks to Ri5ux I know a ton more about modding and had a blast in the past few weeks. Whether it's over or not, it's a highlight I won't forget. Good luck.
Remember mojang sold minecraft to microsoft, thats probably were it went wrong
No, the only influence that the sale of Mojang to Microsoft could've had is positive. Dinnerbone is one of the worst programmers ever, since they hired him Minecraft's code has gone in a downwards spiral and modding went from quite simple to mental. It's just not a lot of fun anymore because it's such a hassle keeping up with unlogical formats and processes.
As far as 1.8 goes, the Forge lead could've fixed most issues but didn't because he doesn't care. The problem is not just Mojang in this case.
You probably already read my post on fb; but i will repostit so everybody can see what i thought of:
As for the turrets, why don't you just make two versions;
the electrical turret you are planning on right now(perfect to long-term protect your base) and
the standard turret(shoots bullets; more mobile);
then everybody would be happy
The way the turrets are planned now you will be able to decide what you want them to fire
Cool. However, it doesn't HAVE to be completely done up or ready ect. It is a Beta test after all ...
Alpha = in active development
Beta = feature complte, may contain bugs
Release = done
We want this build to have all the features we had planned for this build, then release beta so we can fix the features in this build. The next build will have new features and a new beta. There can be a few weeks worth of patching between the first and the last beta release of a build but the first will contain all planned features.
So we can't release anything right now, as most of the features we have planned are not at all or half implemented.
Can you add version for minecraft 1.7.10 and forge 10.13.2.1230 beacuse i cant find forge version 10.13.0.1158
The version of Forge Ri5ux has on his computer is the one we built the mod on. He can't update right now because he has no internet, so for now we can't jump to a newer version.
Right now, not too much. Donating is always helpful because it means Ri5ux has more money, but it's not going to bring his internet back. Working on something and there will be more info soon.
I remember how people said the beta would come out around the end of October and it's now November.......
Please keep in mind that up until not too long ago Ri5ux was working on the mod on his own. He has been unable to access internet from home for the past two weeks and before then only had a connection good enough to look up information.
I'm not going to give an ETA or anything, but I can tell you that we're not months away anymore.
If the login for this site is our Minecraft account and password, then I should have it right. I'll make sure I typed in my Minecraft password right.
Edit: Got it. It's your email(the one you use for your Minecraft account) and your Minecraft password. Make sure to save it in your browser(I'd recommend Chrome, backed up by Norton 360).
The website uses Mojang's authentication system (the same one used in-game and for other Mojang games). If you ported your MC account to a Mojang acccount use your email address, if not use your Minecraft username.

Ri5ux took the website down. I just put a redirect on the domain so all would-be dead links now direct you to the proper URL.

Gotta admit, kinda sad that while I would be completely willing to sponsor your website you decided to take it off for no real reason..

The first beta will be out as soon as we can get it done.

Ri5ux is without internet again. We're working on a plan to keep things going as smoothly as possible.

There's a lot of info on the Facebook page. As you can see there we're hard at work trying to get awesome stuff done.
