    I haven't ever seen glowstone in 1.8. However, I don't think that torches had flickered, so either it's a glitch, they decided to do something really weird, or you're seeing things. :S

    Honestly, the only thing you can do is, after snow biomes are back,

    Step 1. Run around the new world until you find somewhere happy and full of ice and snow that you like

    Step 2. Get MCEdit

    Step 3. Pick up base

    Step 4. Drop it onto the land.

    Animals don't spawn naturally anymore... Well, squids do, but most people don't care that much about them anyway.

    For the rest of the critters, you can only find them by going out to new chunks. They don't despawn, but they can still die.

    In the next update, you'll be able to breed them, so farms will be even better than before. :33

    It would be nice if we had a way to determine our spawn point, but it's usually not THAT far away from where you were before. It's not like you're on the other side of the universe. :tongue.gif:

    If I have multiple bases in multiple areas, I'm probably going to make mine tracks to connect them, granted I have a good amount of iron (which if I'm at the point to where I'm building multiple bases, I probably would). The problem would probably with gold, but I'm sure I'd work it out.

    It's also a lot more likely that I'd use tracks as opposed to sprinting, as I'm going to have a world (no matter how many of them I have to try >:U) where I'm on an island, and I'd need bridges to connect myself to other places, which would probably take minecarts as I'm extremely lazy. :33

    I don't even know if I'd add walking space on the bridges. :ohmy.gif:

    I'm gonna have to go with 16.

    It's honestly really close for me, between 8 and 16.

    64 and 32 are just ridiculous, and 4's a bit low.

    Being that when you get up to 8, space isn't really an issue anymore, and it's really just a matter of convenience, which is why I chose 16.

    I dunno how official it was, but I remember reading that you can transfer creative maps into survival, but not the other way around.

    It's probably like, when a new map is loaded (but not created), it's set as a survival map.

    But that's just my assumption.

    And I don't see how working in a team means that you'll be LESS productive because you'll be spending your time making other people work better.
