I like the idea of them giving off negative amounts of light. Makes them appear more horrible. :tongue.gif:
I think that Endermen shouldn't be able to kill you very fast, because it makes the experience more frightening, and makes you panic more. However, they should be able to ignore armor to an extent, so it's not sitting there poking you for seven hours because you're wearing full diamond.

Sep 15, 2011Ichimoto posted a message on Speculation. What 1.9 features will be delayed till 2.0I'd have to assume that it will be the Nether update and animal breeding, as those are the two most useful features so far.Posted in: 1.0 Update Discussion
Villagers will probably get by, because Notch said that they don't actually do anything.

Woah there. I think that's more than just a little bit of an overreaction, sir. I love 1.8. Secret stuff is awesome. Surprises are win. Endermen just need lots of fixing. I just hope they are similar to the experience system: The independently dysfunctional first step towards something huge.
I'm pretty sure that the secret ******** he's talking about is him working on other games regardless of the projects he already has. :tongue.gif:

Worst execution ever, thoughI like a lot of the things you said, but I'm not very fond of the idea of them going into your house regardless of how they normally can't spawn there. I get close enough to a heart attack from Minecraft anyway. I don't want to file lawsuits. :PPosted in: 1.8 Update Discussion
Also, I don't like the fear effects. It's very limiting to your character, dictating that they have to be scared of the situation. What if they're professionals at hunting down the beasts, know the tricks, are used to the things they do? Then they have to be scared just like any of the little brown-haired smiley goofs running around.
But other than that, I like it.

I try not to whine or complain or act too dramatic when I'm irritated, because it's just annoying for everyone else :S
Hahaha, my grades are so screwed when I get my hands on 1.8
Sep 14, 2011I saw that 1.8 was released, went to school, came home, and decided to give it a try, since I've heard several times that it's supposed to run better on bad systems.Posted in: 1.8 Update Discussion
However, I have a really bad computer for gaming and such. Like, it's the kind of manufactured computer for office work and stuff.
I used to be able to get by, from when I bought it in Alpha to beta 1.7 off of the browser version, where I'd get the message telling me I have bad drivers. I had previously spent hours searching into trying to upgrade the drivers, but long story short, I spent hours into working on it, and all my attempts had failed, fortunately with no damage to my system.
So anyway, after lots of delay due to the site being down, I eventually went on, waited for it to load, and-
So yeah, unless there's by some chance something I'm doing wrong (which may be likely), 1.8 doesn't like computers like mine anymore.
It's not like I can't play forever and I'm like "OGM NOTCH I HAET YOU >:CCCC" or anything. I just have to wait an extended amount of time for my relatively new laptop to come back from being repaired. :S

99% chance you were one of the kids crying about 1.8 not coming on time, now it's out you want to rant about 1.9. play the game for christs sake.
Why are you telling people to play the game, when you're here right now, obviously not actively playing the game?
This is incredibly silly to me.

wtf pigmen? thats ****ed
How so? People are already done in SMP, pigmen don't have any reason to converse with you normally (unless they do the trade-y thing), and it would probably give the game a bit of an Animal Crossing-y feel, which is generally upbeat and cheery, which in my opinion, is needed in contrast to the hells and horrors of the night.
Sep 14, 2011I would expect it to be more based around the general makeup of the area, like if it's more island-filled or continental (or at least, I hope :33)Posted in: 1.0 Update Discussion
I don't see why he wouldn't throw in a floating islands thing... Though it probably won't receive any usage until 1.10.
Sep 14, 2011Being that exp is only derived from combat, it SHOULD NOT affect ANYTHING outside of combat. Damage resistance, total damage done overall (both by direct hitting and by bows), MAYBE speed and/or jump height.Posted in: 1.0 Update Discussion
It doesn't make sense to go shoot eighty creepers with a bow and then suddenly become good at mining.

Sep 4, 2011I'm fairly certain it's the horizon line.Posted in: News
Now I could go make a pretty picture with shitty lines pointing to it, but that would be a waste of time.
I looked at it for a long time, and the horizon thing really seems to stick out.
I don't believe that was ever there before, though to be honest, I don't play on Far view a ton, being that I have a low-end PC and it would kill it. :S
But still, I've done it occasionally. And that's new.
