Yes, i also used ones from the skin library and they didnt work either. Before my skin loads the steve mouth works too.
Hmm..... so everything works, including the arm and leg animations, but just not the mouth... I'm sorry but all I can say is make sure you have all the files dropped in your Mods folder, this including the Animation API.
As soon as I figure out how I'm going to go about doing it. This version is for 1.7.10, and the code was drastically changed in 1.8. It's not as simple as changing a few 0's and 1's, unfortunately...
The Better Animations Mod has some unique animations to it that I can try to replicate, like the Spider's, Chicken's, Pig's and Slime's. The others seem a bit too silly and don't fit the style of Minecraft: Story Mode, which is what I am trying to derive from. As for the 3D Blocks Mod... there isn't really a need for that at all. There are already tools that can be used to make 3D Models in Minecraft using 1.8 and above (Like BDCraft, which I have). I would be more inclined to update it if there weren't versions for 1.7.10 and below (Versions that don't use the same block rendering technique as 1.8 and above), but there are. Sorry to tell you, but I won't be updating those mods specifically.
Sorry to say that, but firstly, you can't update this mod because like if you get the source by deobfuscating the mod, secondly Hippomaster21 is updating it, thirstly I don't think he will give you the right
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe that you were trying to update this mod as well... I could be confusing you with another user, but again... correct me if I'm wrong. Secondly, I don't care if he doesn't give me the rights. I have my own rights. He left this mod open for anybody to use, and when he gave up developing it (I repeat, when he gave up developing it) he also gave up his interest in the copyright for it, if there even is any to begin with. Third, I am not using the source code from this mod. As much as I want to, I have my own standards. I will be making my own code that has features similar or almost identical to Hippo's version.
IceColdPlasma if you update the mod can you make it compatible with 1.8.9?
I shall do my very best. I'm still learning the ropes of Java modding, so I'm pretty much still a complete noob... ^^' But I do plan to have 1.9, 1.8, and 1.8.9 released at some point, as those versions are used most with multiple mods.
Hey there. I am in desparate need for the models and skeletons of as many characters as possible in Minecraft: Story Mode. I am developing a mod that aims to rival @thehippomaster's Animated Player's Mod over on the Modding Forums, and I wanted to make it to where the vanilla character models are replaced with models that resemble the style of characters like Jesse or Olivia. To do this, I need models... no doubt about that. The main thing I require are the noses and hairstyles/head accessories of various characters so that players can choose these from a 3rd Party site to have it reflect ingame.
I would do this all myself, but I do not have the PC version of the game. Only the Xbox 360 version. I am not going to spend my own money on a game that I already have and completed just for some files... Sorry if that sounded a bit rude, but you can probably understand how pointless that sounds. Anyways, contact me through my email: [email protected] or through Skype: icecoldplasma and we can discuss things there. Thank you!
This is great IceColdPlasma! I'm glad someone decided to revive the animated player mod! So you're going to have the animations for the player and mobs mimic the animation of Minecraft: Story Mode?
hmm interesting mod though my only concerns are...
1. what happens to the function of beds with this mod....
2. what if any gameplay limitations are affected by the longer day/night cycles? like how does this affect my game play (exsample growing crops)
1. Beds still function the same as normal. It's just you would have to wait longer before you could actually use them.
2. Crops will still grow at the same rate as normal. The game calculates time through Ticks Per Second (Not really going to explain what Ticks are, but if you don't know then google it, lol) and not the actual time of day. Basically what I'm trying to say is that as long as the sun is out, and there's a high enough level of light, then your crops will still grow as normal. Though I wish this would be nerfed to coincide with the time of day... This way you actually have to wait for your food.
Are you still working on this mod?I am not trying to pester you i simply would like to know concidering the whole skin update thing. btw still love the mod.
I am learning how to code with java for minecraft. I can't do much but I would like to help
Of course I'm still working on it. It's just taking time for me to get the hang of modding. Any help at all is very much appreciated. Contact me on skype (@icecoldplasma) and I can talk to you.
Crash log indicates this mod is most likely to blame:
The "UE" prefix means the mod is in "errored" state. I'm not familiar with the mod, so I suggest you contact this mod's author for further investigation.
Okay, thank you for telling me. I will use that for future reference.
Dude.... tf were Mojang and LEGO thinking? Nobody's gonna buy this when it's the same cost as a damn laptop. Drop the price down to $20 and I might buy these plastic cubes. Otherwise, happy bankruptcy LEGO

Did you follow the skin guide in the original post?

The More Player Models mod has that feature, but unfortunately the other layers aren't 3D. Hopefully they will update that soon.

That certainly is the plan!

That recipe seems too cheap for something that is immensely powerful... Maybe a Beacon instead of Redstone would be better.

I have a friend who can translate Spanish into English if you want. Just type what you need and I'll let him know.
