posted a message on Tile Entity "Missing a mapping" error
Hi, I'm making a mod that adds a much more advanced jukebox. I had everything going smoothly until I noticed that every time the jukebox's tile entity was saved to the NBT it printed an error message (without crashing) that said:

java.lang.RuntimeException: class com.iancraft.jukebox.TileEntityJuke is missing a mapping! This is a bug!
    at net.minecraft.src.TileEntity.writeToNBT(TileEntity.java:70)
    at com.iancraft.jukebox.TileEntityJuke.writeToNBT(TileEntityJuke.java:49)
    at net.minecraft.src.AnvilChunkLoader.writeChunkToNBT(AnvilChunkLoader.java:266)
    at net.minecraft.src.AnvilChunkLoader.saveChunk(AnvilChunkLoader.java:104)
    at net.minecraft.src.ChunkProvider.saveChunkData(ChunkProvider.java:174)
    at net.minecraft.src.ChunkProvider.saveChunks(ChunkProvider.java:222)
    at net.minecraft.src.World.saveWorld(World.java:509)
    at net.minecraft.src.World.saveWorldIndirectly(World.java:2738)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.changeWorld(Minecraft.java:2079)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.changeWorld2(Minecraft.java:2057)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.changeWorld1(Minecraft.java:2049)
    at net.minecraft.src.GuiIngameMenu.actionPerformed(GuiIngameMenu.java:51)
    at net.minecraft.src.GuiScreen.mouseClicked(GuiScreen.java:114)
    at net.minecraft.src.GuiScreen.handleMouseInput(GuiScreen.java:186)
    at net.minecraft.src.GuiScreen.handleInput(GuiScreen.java:165)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.runTick(Minecraft.java:1561)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.runGameLoop(Minecraft.java:819)
    at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:747)
    at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

This is causing it not to save my block's tile entity between reloading of the world. So, whenever I quit and load the world again, the jukebox is empty. I've tried looking at other tile entities and I don't see anything that I did wrong that would make this happen. Any help?

cant wait for the new mod update sounds awesome. hey dumb question, if u pick up all the blocks in my world from ur mod will they still be in my inventory/chest

p.s. i am making my own texture pack and hope to support ur mod wish me luck
Sorry, that won't work. But don't do that, make sure your chests have no items from my mod before you update to 1.3 or your world will crash when you open your chest in 1.3. Just try to burn everything from my mod in lava. You don't need to do that yet, but before you update to 1.3 when it's out.

Awesome Mod! I made an awesome review and tutorial for your mod! : hopefully you'll enjoy it:

Great review! I'm definitely putting this on the thread. Also, I can't believe I left them breakable instantly. Such a noob mistake I made.

Thank you very much for your answer! I'm glad to hear that, I'll be looking forward to 1.3 then. :)
The only bad thing with this revamp is that it will break whatever blocks and items from my mod you have in your world. But trust me, it's worth it ;)

Sorry, I guess this is a stupid and pretty obvious question. I just wanted to know... You will wait for 1.3 to update the mod, right? We shouldn't expect a "snapshot update", right? :P

Just in case, because we're already running the snapshots, because we couldn't wait for writable books and trading with villagers, but only today we found your mod and kind of wanted to add it to our server.

Thanks in advance for your attention!

Great mod, keep up the excellent work!

(Sorry if my English is horrible, it's not my main language)

Edit: Oh, and I wanted to know if you could possibly make carpets stick to walls too. We wanted to make a tapestry, and your carpets would be perfect if only they could be used vertically.
In 1.3 the mod will have a complete revamp, and yes carpets will be placeable on walls and ceilings. All the blocks in my mod like chairs, tables, and carpets will be able to go together (like a chair and a carpet in the same block)
    Quote from helmwig

i love your mod and all but my computers really slow and i just want your chairs and tables... so just a thought but i would download this if you could make the chairs and table SEPERATE. just a thought...
All in the config, my friend.

Hey great mod Ian i really love it and hope you continue updating. Anyway I just finished making a pool in my world and i was wondering if it was possible (and if you would be willing) to add a few new blocks such as a diving board a beach chair and an umbrella. Again thats only if you would like to. This mod gets a :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: rating

P.S. your concrete blocks were the perfect material for my pool
Perhaps the umbrella and beach chair

Oops, this bug was already mentioned.
It's not a bug, I intentionally added it.

There already is coloured planks off of the logs in the game already! You'd much rather just craft it yourself then making the

    Bark Stripper

But overall, really nice mod it has Sooooo many possibilities and I love it! especially the carpets!
I had already made my planks when 1.2 came out, and you need them for the chairs if you don't want stone chairs.

I have a question. Is this mod compatible with Little Blocks Mod? And also if it is when you put some of the items from your mod on the little blocks will they be tiny or will it not work?
Yes it's compatible, and the blocks will work and be miniature, but they will use textures from terrain.png and it will look weird.

Very nice; I'd like to see some more stuff like http://www.minecraft...d-glass-tweaks/ + some Adobe so we can do something useful with dirt :D
I'm not going to use the fancy pack for my inspiration, no matter how many people ask.

    Yes? or No?

That cool, small, but useless feature is that carpet are held in hand like a block, but not like an item?
No, it's something that generates in the world.

The only bad thing about video reviews is that people decide to leave their opinions about the mod on the video's comments, instead of the forum thread. Since videos are probably my main traffic source, nobody is commenting on the thread. That means I'm never up high in the forum listing. :steve_tearful:

    Hello Ian.
I like your mod and i'm also a big fan of Dokucraft so i've made myself dokucraft textures for this mod:

    Download link:
http://www.mediafire...67942g3c3y7jeyw (Just drop it in dokucraft archive)
But there is a thing i don't like:
Fancy cobblestone and stone are using texture from terrain.png from minecraft.jar (or terrain.png from texture pack) as i can see, it doesn't use the texture from your terrain.png. And it causes this odd thing:
On the left from up to down there are fancy cobblestone and stone. (which as you can see uses texture from terrain.png from texture pack)
On the right there are tables made from them (which use textures from your terrain.png)

Maybe you should make those two blocks use texture from your terrain.png to make texture pack support much more beautiful and slight?

That's what's going to end up happening soon.
