The working class has grown tired of living in poverty. Many people began to unite and conspire against the monarchs in secret. Conspiracies gave way to protests. Protests gave way to riots. Riots gave way to all-out-war: The people versus the monarchs and their supporters, the Templars.
Eventually, all the governments were overthrown, the monarchs all dead or exiled. But this has plunged civilization into anarchy. Now, several factions have emerged, all with a different agenda.
A large portion of people decided to rebuild civilization under a new, democratic government. They have erected a new city, called New Haven. These people want a better life for all of humanity and its future generations. While not free of its fair share of problems, New Haven is a beacon of hope to all in this deadly world.
The merchants do not tend to favor the Templars or the free people of New Haven. They are simply out to gain material wealth. They will sell goods to anyone as long as they have the cash. The only person a merchant doesn't like is competition. Rumors have it that some will go as far as hiring thieves to sabotage another merchant's business.
The Templars are the former nobility who have remained loyal to the monarchs. In the days of the kingdoms, they were the ones who defended the rulers and willingly would fight and die for them. They thrive on control, order, and oppression of the weak. They believe that this is only a setback, and they seek to regain the former glory they once had and place the monarchs back in power. The Templars blame the Assassins for the destruction of order and creation of chaos in the world.
The thieves are a group of people who simply aim to survive by any means. While some of them gladly took to the life of a thief, many were forced to become a thief out of sheer necessity. Thieves take to the way of stealing, lying, and cheating to get by, using their wits to get out of anything. They aren't really an organized group, but many thieves choose to band together to watch each other's back. Some, however, prefer to go it alone.

Working in the dark, they have been a large catalyst in the downfall of the monarchs. I have an Intel Ivy Core that turbos at 3.9Ghz
I can promise at least 4GB of RAM at all times. When I'm off I can set it up to 12.
Currently 12Mbps probably getting upgraded to 24. 24/7
Completely free.
I'm 17 years of age located is Kansas. Minutes away from Goggle fiber (So close but I can't have it). I do have skype and its my main way of communication. Some experience with bukkit (permissions, installing plugins, ext).
I'm looking to host a GOOD RP server. Preferably one that is already running and looking for an upgrade but I will host new. Server owner must be 15 or older, I will pick an older server owner over a younger one if I have to pick. I'm not looking for admin rights or anything, I just want to play.
Server is not finished but looking for builders!
This server will be a RP server and I need builders to help me build cities for the various factions. Once the server is ready, all builder will keep their status as builder and (if they can handle it) some will become faction leaders if they would like. Some builders may even become a Moderator on the server. Please apply with the forum below

Shadow Side is a small server about to take some big steps to become a huge success. Currently the server is ran off of the admins laptop and can not be up 24/7. Although the admin is currently building a computer that will be used just for the server. The admin is short on money and will soon be taking donations. With a 3.0 GHz (quad) processor and 8 GB of RAM the computer will be more than enough to hold a server 24/7. Progress to new computer! (25% complete!)

I'm looking for a mature RP server with preferably more then 10 active players. (Don't recommend Ragnarok btw I need something while its down)
I'm not looking for those servers with 10 year old kids with houses labeled "LOL 1337 mans house" and make absolutely ridiculous immature RP. I also don't want a server with people who don't know how to RP.

Name: Esderk
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Fears: Fire and going out far into sea
Personality: Not shy and not antisocial but quiet. He can be a good leader if he needs to be.
Skills: Alchemy and swordsmanship
Nickname (Optional):
RP Example (Add Dialogue):
Guard: Hey you! What are you doing!
Esderk: Nothing sir, just minding my own business
Guard: No there's something suspicious about you. There! whats in your hand!
*pulls out bottle*
Esderk: Just a health potion
Guard: Hey that doesn't look...
*Throws the potion which turns out to be poison*
*Esderk turns and runs*

Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):
Esderk was born into a relaxed, wealthy family who encouraged him to learn all he could about the world. An educated son is a son to be proud of. Of course, after all his education, he ironically found his calling in war tactics, and studied at quite a prestige university to further his knowledge. He doesn’t have the most fascinating of childhood backgrounds, but it starts to get interesting when he decided to travel the world for a year or so, learn about other cultures and their tactics.
He traveled to several small islands at first, learning through helping the people, and moving on to the next village. He even came across and empire who, although it took some time for them to trust him, taught him many tricks.
After several months of traveling he happened upon the Cydonian mountains and introduced himself to the first non-white person he saw. Initially he was welcome among the village of Magog, and in return for their hospitality he gathered some villagers and started about making a very basic military. Unfortunately it became apparent that the change was not welcome in this village, and Esderk thought it was best to leave, he gathered his things quickly and hurried off down the mountain, only to be caught a few minutes later by several members of the hunting party, trained runners unfortunately.
He was carried back over the shoulder of one of the hunters, shouting and banging his fists on him did nothing. They dropped him into a cage at the edge of the village and left him for the rest of the evening in his own company, where he rethought his life, resigned to his fate, then attempted to break out, before realizing that he had dropped all his tools down the mountain in an effort to run faster, he had only his workings journal and a pencil that was wrapped to it. Then, in complete exhaustion he fell asleep, dreaming of the dreadful ways he might die in this place.
He was rudely awakened as the whole world was turned on its side, terrified at the thought he might be taken away and killed before he had even written a farewell note in his journal, he started screaming in blind panic. For the tribe to save him? For anyone to get him out of this blasted thing. Quite soon into the mad get away Esderk managed to bash his head a little too hard on the bars of the cage, knocking himself out, he awoke to the soft sound of water splashing gently against him. The tribe was attempting to drown him in the river. With the wood weakened by the water he was able to smash through and escape down the river. Other
What is Roleplay? Roleplay is like being a different person, you make your decisions based on what your character would do and you only use information that your character knows.
What is Metagaming? Metagaming is using OOC information while IC. Like if you were having a conversation with someone OOC and they said yeah later I'm going to kill you, you can not use that information to protect yourself or even bring weapons as a precaution. Your character wasn't told the information, you were.
What is Powergaming? Using the example above Powergaming would be the person coming up to you and saying *Knocks esderk out* without giving Esderk the chance to defend himself. Most server implicate something like a /roll to decide who wins. Aka *attempts to knock esderk out* Assassin rolled 57. Esderk rolled 45 in which the assassin would be able to knock esderk out. Although esderk could do something like this *Esderk attempts to wake up* and roll.
What is Assassin's Creed? One of the best games ever made? ummm Bunch of assassins that appear from no were and kill Templar under the command of the leader. Lot of blades going through peoples backs. Basically the main character (Assassins creed 3) trys to get all of the memory disks to unlock a library which "supposedly" lots of information.

The vast majority of people have been subject to the rule of these monarchs, forced to fight in their endless wars, suffering ravaging disease, unending famine, and widespread religious unrest.
In the past, the Templars used their military power to crush protests and silence critics, while also using the church to brainwash the weak into doing their bidding.
The Assassins are a group that saw the corruption of the monarchs and chose to rid the world of its unjust rulers. Working in the dark, they have been a large catalyst in the downfall of the monarchs. After many years of war in secrecy, the infamous organization has grown in numbers mostly from the starving population of dying villages that seek revenge on the Templars.

I'm not looking for those servers with 10 year old kids with houses labeled "LOL 1337 mans house" and make absolutely ridiculous immature RP. I also don't want a server with people who don't know how to RP.
Thanks

Esderk: Nothing sir, just minding my own business
Guard: No there's something suspicious about you. There! whats in your hand!
*pulls out bottle*
Esderk: Just a health potion
Guard: Hey that doesn't look...
*Throws the potion which turns out to be poison*
*Esderk turns and runs*
Skin (Link, picture, description):
