Seed: EATMYSHORTS ...or if you prefer the number: 54618971

I didn't stick with this map because I'm looking for those new huge mountains but it offers all biomes except mushrooms and snow plains, and it has a small snow forest since you don't care for it. It has 3 skeleton spawners near the southern desert village, one right in the village, and two just to the east that are basically connected to each other. Also has a zombie spawner in the north desert, 4 towns, but no blacksmiths.

This map "EATMYSHORTS" is awesome. Thank you very much for this. I'm going to post a map photo here. The coords on the map in the photo are just above the double skele spawners which can be (kinda) seen under the map in the photo on either side.

At X -30 Z -324 there is a very rare Desert Well. First one I've seen. I will be changing to use this map. I settled with the one above that I posted originally just because of the double skele spawners, truly I didn't like the map. This map is awesome and the spawners are even closer together. AND the snow on the map is a tiny patch, couldn't ask for any thing better. Thank you CruderRiver, seriously, thank you.

Golden apple in chest lol. Double dungeon is at x:200 y:something z:308, sorry I forgot Y.

    Y 18 ish
    Quote from Cgohsman15

Right next to the double skeleton spawner in the desert there is a semi-above ground skeleton spawner, exact coordinates will be given soon.

I probably wouldn't have noticed this, but it's x190 y59 z265. Look for a cross shaped opening in the sand dune.

This is a quality seed. I really like the map/biome layout.

    Seed 3702436546499980759

As far as the terrain goes, this map isn't that special, and I'm not fond of the large snow area. However nearest to spawn there is a decent size village which is surrounded with three surface spawners. 1 spider, and 2 skeleton spawners. The Skeleton Spawners are close enough to pair into one XP Farm. It is uncommon for surface spawners to be so close, but this is the first map I've ever found where two nearby surface spawners were both skeletons. (let me know if you know another one please!)
    Spawner locations(even though not hard to find once in village) X -154 Y 60 Z 70 and X -168 Y 60 Z 52
Skeleton spawn farm = XP, Arrows, Bones, and now since TU12 chance of bows and enchanted bows.

You spawn south east of the town on the border of a forrest, jungle, and desert. Head North West to the village.
All biomes but extreme hills are present, though the Swamp is very small. (All the way to the north at tip of the jungle)
At the center of the ocean near the top of the map is a Mushroom Biome
There are three villages, one pictured where the player arrow is, another south west of player arrow on the edge of the map, and third north west of player arrow on the edge of the map near the plains.

Please let me know if anyone finds a Seed with two nearby surface skeleton spawners like this, but with more/larger Jungle area on the map. Thanks!

Adam was relieved to be helped to the beach.
"Thanks, I don't like the water much. I'm Adam. Who are you?"
Once on the beach he was clearly much more calm. He continued looking around at the others on the beach still a bit concerned about why they were here on this island, and how.
    "What do we do now?"
He glanced back at the water, and backed farther away from it, just to be safe.

Adam waisted no time climbing out of the water onto the top of the crate. He looked around at Ashton and the others on the beach and finally back to Ashton.
"Wh...where are we? Do you know where my parents are?"
He was shaken, and kept looking down fearfully at the water surrounding the crate. He looked at the distance between the crate and the beach. To anyone else, only a few yards seemed like a mile to him. It's not that deep, I can see the bottom, he thought, but there could be a shark! His eyes darted around looking at the water for something that clearly wasn't there, but his phobia of the water was in full rein.

The crate which had held Adam was several yards off the beach and had become stranded in two foot of water. Adam woke up calmly at first.
Why am I wet? He thought.
His heart rate rose sharply as he realized he was nearly submerged in water. He grabbed at the planks on top of the crate from within to try and break it open but the planks did not give. Because of his irrational fear of being underwater he was oblivious to the crowbar inside the crate beneath him and began to yell,"HELP!"
As he grabbed at the planks tiny vines seemed to sprout right out of the wood and grew quickly, wrapping around the plank, almost as if trying to assist him with escaping the crate. As odd as this was to him, he didn't stop to consider it. It was not enough to take his mind off of the water which nearly filled the crate.

    Name: Adam
    Age: 8
Appearance: Brown hair, green eyes, tanned skin, wearing khaki shorts with large cargo pockets, and a dark grey shirt
Powers: Can see in the dark. Touching things with his left hand can cause rapid plant growth, sometimes this is hard to control. Possibly related to the second power, his skin, while appearing normal is quite resilient and is not easily cut or bruised.
How did you get to the island? Adam remembers falling to sleep in his own bed. He has no knowledge of how he was removed from his home and will soon have a rude awakening. His crate drifts up slowly, it seems to be weighed down more than other crates which have washed up. Some strange vines can be seen weaving in and out of the cracks of the crate and small flowers reach up absorbing the sun. He was still unconscious from some inhalant which was used to quietly abduct him from his home. By some luck he was floating in the half sunken crate face up and was alive. The crate has run aground farther away from shore than most and it wasn't looking good for whoever was in the crate. Even though the water was only a couple feet deep the crate was mostly submerged.
Hobbies: He enjoyed nature. Climbing trees, planting a garden with his parents and his father had been teaching him archery.
Likes: Nature, he was somewhat shy but enjoys "people watching" so is often considered a strange kid.
Dislikes: people who are not respectful of nature, he can swim but has a very real phobia of deep water and will not willingly venture in farther than knee deep.
Inventory: Having fallen asleep in his favorite cargo shorts: nearly empty roll of survival cord(about 30' remains), a small dull pocket knife, half eaten beef jerky stick, and an old army canteen his father had given him.

posted a message on disc form
On the main page it says the disc includes all features that we have today, and it was posted yesterday Thursday June 6 2013. http://www.minecraftforum.net/news/823-mcx360-retail-disc-now-available/ I don't mean to start an arguement, but it sounds to me like that would mean TU11 as current. But then it doesn't actually say which update it has. If you have a source I would like to see just for my own information. I intend to buy the game by disc even though I already own the digital arcade version. The reason is so I would have the option to come back and play good ol Minecraft on my outdated Xbox 360 years from now, when all the digital licenses are broke since it will eventually no longer be supported on Xbox Live. They say they will keep supporting the Xbox 360 for a time even after the new Xbox One, but eventually they will leave it on the wayside.

posted a message on New Minecraft disk-based
According to their article on the main page it includes all of the same features as our current version TU11. I have considered buying it even though I already have the arcade version, like you said, just for the case. But another benefit of owning the game is if you did not have access to the internet sometime from now and bored, you could still play when someone with the arcade version may not be able to without a connection to Xbox Live. The Licenses on the Xbox are supposed to allow you to play offline when updated but if you don't update it after a while, it will not let you play until you connect. So what about several years from now when the Xbox 360 is no longer supported on live and you want to play Minecraft, you have the disc! I still break out my old Nintendo systems now and then, and will probably do the same with the 360 someday after it's time is gone.

posted a message on What's the best way to make a dome?
This is the first I've seen or heard of plotz, so thanks for that. I quite like getting an idea and just building on it as I go. I always used this chart: http://www.minecraftcircle.com/ to get started and now, most of the time I can pretty much layout the circles by memory. As for the dome, it's much more time consuming and tricky than just a round tower. I start by determining how large I want the dome, and build two arches(half circles essentially) that intersect at the top. So if you were looking at it from above it would look like a cross. If you're going for a perfect spherical dome, the circle size you've chosen for the arches should be the same as the circle you will use for the base. Start from the bottom building your circles and gradually reduce the width of each circle up to the top. Depending on how large the dome you are building, you may build the same size circle several time before reducing the circle size. It may take some tweaking along the way but with enough patience and effort you'll have yourself a dome. The first few domes I completed mostly by trial and error, with exception of the circle guide I posted above, and gave me a nice feeling of accomplishment. Because they are quite time consuming, even if you were going by a guide, I tend to avoid domes. However, one of my favorite I've ever done was my own mock up of a biodome farm built of mostly glass. Complete with trees, a small plot of wheat, and a mix of cows and pigs.

posted a message on MINECRAFT XBOX 360 EDITION HAS FAILED TO LOAD AND CANNOT CONTINUE
Before TU11 I think it was a common issue for Xbox Live Silver(not paid) members to play. I would suggest posting on this page: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1807361-mcxbla-official-known-bugs-list-tu11/

My suggestion sounds like something you may have already tried, but if you contact Xbox Support they will have you do this in a specific order from my own experience of contacting them.

    Delete Game
Clear System Cache 2 or 3 times back to back.
    restart console
    redownload

Also if clearing the system cache does not cause you to re-download the updates, you may also want to go and manually delete the update to force it to download updates from scratch. The update file can become corrupted. Their words, not mine. Good luck guys.

posted a message on what levels are diamonds at ?
THE_ZIPPER has it! Dig your mineshaft down until your map shows that you are Y= 16 or lower and start searching. Beyond looking from Y= 1-16 there's no wrong way to mine diamonds. You'll find they're still rare and you most likely will encounter enough lava to make you hate life. If you have the materials to enchant your tools I would suggest that you start your mine and locate the diamonds but do not mine them until you can enchant a pick axe with the Fortune enchantment. This will give you a chance of receiving more than 1 diamond per diamond ore block mined depending on the level of enchantment. One more tip that is even more important than the previous, is to either save often, or keep a safe room (creeper and lava proof) nearby and unload your diamonds and ore regularly. Lava will kill you specially if you have a stack of freshly mined diamonds. Murphy's Law demands it.

posted a message on 2 seperate games in split sceen
Like Mustache_Guy says, there is no way to play two different worlds at the same time in splitscreen. However even as limited as the Xbox 360 world is, it's still a fairly good sized area. If they could move to separate ends of the map, it will be uncommon for them to run into each other unintentionally. And if that idea doesn't work, remember the Great Wall of China was NOT built with intentions of being the only man-made structure visible from outer space. (The fact that The Great Wall of China is the only structure visible from outer space is something I find disputable, but that is beside the point I'm trying to make). They can build some sort of structure to help mark their boundaries to keep each on their own side of the world. Even as simple as a row of sand stacks 1wide by 3 high spaced out 5-10 blocks apart for the length of the map and a torch on top for extra visibility at night.

I'm no parent but I do have experience with allowing my niece and nephew playing Minecraft together and I found that they find playing together is fun for only limited ammounts of time. Then they wanted their own houses and their own pumpkin patches. Separating them on the map worked great. I hope that helps!

posted a message on How will Xbox One Change Minecraft on console?
I certainly couldn't know for certain. But I'm pretty sure the Arcade games on the Xbox 360 use a particular emulator type software to run. Microsoft would be making a big mistake to not allow the Arcade games you've purchased from the Xbox 360 to work on the new console. I don't think that this will be a concern of Mojang recoding the game, as much as it will be, will Microsoft screw all of us who pay tens to hundreds of dollars on Arcade games from the current Marketplace. It doesn't seem very logical to me to assume they wouldn't allow the old arcade games to be downloaded and played on the next console.
