Note: The bedrock blocks are the three tools (axe, pick and shovel).
I will most likely bring back the povel in the next update. It will be for diamond only though.
Here's a preview of the new auto-updating auto-patcher I've been working on.
Let me know what you think, PM me your suggestions and I'll try to add them in.

Dammit man you took so long... i missed you XDD
But seriously... glad to see you back and well :smile.gif:
Thanks man. To tell the truth, I actually fixed the mods the day I said I would, but I was too lazy to upload and change the links. D:
I thought I posted, but it doesn't look like it went through. If it did, I apologize for double posting

In the latest update (v1.0), I decided to use 303's sprite override function. I would just like to inform everyone that I will most likely use the "old fashion" way in the next update. Give me your opinions on this if you can. I'd appreciate it.
If you're going to continue using ModLoader in the future, then I'd stick with the override function. As I understand it, this way, it will never conflict with texture packs, or other mods. If someone (or a texture pack creator) wants to add custom textures to your tools, it's pretty easy to do, by simply replacing the appropriate pictures in the appropriate directory. Whereas, with the "old fashioned" method, it's possible that using the items.png (or terrain.png, or whatever) could cause a graphical conflict with another mod (that doesn't use the 303 ModLoader, most likely), or possibly even a texture pack (very unlikely, but it is theoretically possible, depending on how they decide to distribute "alternative" textures/items).
However, if you're no longer going to use 303's ModLoader, then as I understand it, there's not many other options available to you, other than the "old fashioned" method. I'm sure you could figure something out, but I strongly suspect that it'd be significantly easier to pull off of an existing/loaded PNG, than to create your own.
It's your mod, do what you want with it. I'm just not sure I see why you'd want to use the "old fashioned" method, when the 303 ModLoader method seems to be working just fine (and, to me, sounds like the better method anyway). Is there a specific reason you prefer to use the "old fashioned" method? My best guess, is that it's easier to use. But, if you've already written the code for the 303's ModLoader override function, then what's so difficult about copying already existing code? Since I'm no programmer, I really have no room to talk here, so please correct me where I'm wrong.
That's my thoughts on it. If I'm missing something obvious (or not so obvious), please tell me. Mouser X over and out.
I was thinking about going back to the old method because I wanted to make things easier for everyone. Although, now that I think about it, this method is way better and it wouldn't be wise to go back to the old one. Thanks for your opinion. :smile.gif:

1. I think the paxel should have sticks in the middle as if you are crafting any other tool. Like a pick but you are using the diamond tools as the topper.
2. The fist sounds cool, but I don't want something to destroy everything, I just want a paxel with unlimited strength and all like the old obsidian Povel.
3. Good job, but I'll stick with the old V1 Povel.
1. I forgot to add the sticks I didn't bother to edit that in, I'll fix it in the next update.
2. I can make a whole new tool that only destroys blocks and not the "accessories".
3. Thanks, I'm sure you will use the newer mod once I update it. :tongue.gif:
I assume this version of the tools is the same power as v2.0
gotta try it right away... by the way, what are the changes in the stats of the obsidian tools themselves? are they more durable? or weaker or something? compared to the previous v2.0
They are the exact same as v2.0, I've just decided to start back from v1.0 as I released everything separately.
none of the mods worked for me and i upload them both ways and still the obsidian would not smelt help
Re-download Minecraft.
Run the auto patcher.
Click "Patch".

Requests:
Make the Fist wear
Add an obsidian hoe
The fist is already way overpowered, I'd be pointless to make it wear. If you really want it to wear, just edit the "mod_UltimateFist.class". It's the "Integer.MAX_VALUE - 49" parameter.

I don't understand why people use these things...
Here, I'll visit each of those links and let you make that $0.001. Spend it wisely.
Sorry, ads **** me off. :/

Which program are you referring to?

What do you mean? I posted a direct link to 303's modloader. It works fine for me.

I'm going to fix this in a couple of hours at most. I have to do some homework first.

Note: I will soon add more features to the mods and re-code my auto patcher (possibly make a separate one for windows too).

I don't think that would be required as my patcher application would only be used for my own mods. They will not work for any other mods.
