Alright, I'm just going to step in here and point out the flaws in your argument before a Mod locks this topic (which they really should)...
Now, I am not much of a programmer
Yet you make broad statements about how Mojang leaves lots of bugs, creates bad code, Java is a bad language to code in, etc. I myself have encountered maybe two or three bugs in my entire time playing Minecraft (which I started playing in the late stages of Infdev). Also, I doubt Notch had the possibility of this game becoming one of the best-selling PC games of all time in mind when he was coding it. And when it did, he couldn't simply recode it all in a different language. That's simply ignorance saying that he shouldn't have programmed in Java, especially from one who admits to having little knowledge of programming. Besides, Java is an excellent language; one of the many reasons it's used in billions of devices worldwide.
Mojang sucks at math too as last i checked 1 + 2 = 3. Nope! gotta have a book with unbreaking II and another with unbreaking II to get unbreaking III. Well done mojang, go back to kindergarten!
That's simply flaming right there. It was obviously a design choice, and had no regard towards their mathematical abilities. I personally support this mechanic.
most if not all of the sfx in minecraft are annoying and repetitive. The sound engine itself is a complete failure. I hear a zombie... but i cannot figure out what direction the sound came from!
That's an opinion, and the sound engine functions perfectly fine. I, and many others, are able to locate something by sound. If you can't, that's your fault.
Thunder is annoying and just plain spammy. Its loud as and made no sense when you are at the bedrock and can hear it as loud as if you were right beside it. Rain is ugly and spammy, both sfx and gfx. Zombies are as they are annoying and getting rather OP
More opinions, general whining...
Creepers are just greif machines. I think a sandbox game, a game about BUILDING should not have a walking bomb that s up hours and hours of work. Mojang how would you like it if i walked into your office and deleted all the files off of your systems? Its like spending hours and hours doing something and suddenly its gone. Its frusterating and annoying.
Creepers are another design choice, and quite an iconic one at that. You might as well lament about how minecraft is made of blocks. As for the rest of that paragraph, you're exaggerating and overreacting quite a bit. One creeper is not that destructive anymore in vanilla minecraft, and equating a creeper explosion (which occurs in a virtual world) to the removal of real-world assets is idiotic.
I am srsly considering quitting minecraft unless i see mojang get some education and learn how to properly make a game
Again, coming from a person who admits to having little experience in programming to people who make a living off of it. If you dislike the game so much, then quit already. None of us want to hear your rant, especially one with such poorly constructed and flawed arguments such as this.
You say that they will finish the server in due time however consistently I've asked for the OP to be updated since it CONTINUES to say it's going to be released in August.
I'm giving them criticism because they're not acting upon whose going to see this thread. I saw this thread around the start of august and thought it was promising, and if I came across it now as a bystander it wouldn't give it a second glance since it's poorly maintained and there has been NO updates on whether there have been advances in upping the server.
This is killing me as even if they do spend money getting the server up, the likelihood of all these that have applied are going to be minimal to who actually logs onto the server. I can almost guarantee one third of the applicants will disappear, another half of the two thirds left will disappear since everyone is going to go solo creating cities/towns and what not.
When you have a poorly maintained thread, THAT is what the public sees. They don't see the dead skype chat in which development is occurring. They see a freaking thread that says the server is out in August.Tell me buddy, whats the date?
You need to get off your high horse. They're running the show, not you. The fact that you so relentlessly pursue such a trivial matter is so inconceivably stupid and pointless that it defies belief. With that said, I don't want to start a flame war, and I sure as hell believe that the devs don't want me to either. So consider this my final message.
This thread was created over a month ago, and no sever was rented?
At this pace, just give up.
You generally don't rent a server until you're ready for it to be used, so you can conserve funds. They've probably been working on a self-hosted server...
Also, I seriously doubt the Devs are feeling very "encouraged" with all the crap you've both been giving them lately. They'll finish the server when they finish it, and it'll be better off because of it.

Full Name: Dimaethor Current Age: 264 Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Dimaethor did not have a special childhood, nor an uncommon one, or even a particularly interesting one. He was born in Asulon, in Normandor, to a father that had taken up soldiery as a profession and a mother who helped run the library. They lived in relative ease together in a modest home. Dimaethor being an only child, all his father's and mother's parental attentions were spent on him. He learned to wield a blade at a young age thanks to his father. Over the years, he proved himself a more than capable swordsman. While he could not be considered a master under any standard, he was uncommonly competent with a sword. Dimaethor learned to read and write thanks to his mother. Because of her role in the library, Dimaethor never ran out of stories to read. He found an interest in Elven tales of yore, and knows many by heart.
When Dimaethor was of age, he decided he wanted to see the rest of the Elven world. He set off on his own, with his parents consent, to visit the other Elven cities and territories. It was on this journey that he was exposed to the rest of the world. Though he never left Elven lands, he met Humans, Dwarfs, and even the beastly Orcs. He haggled with merchants, chatted with locals, trained and honed his blade on many occasions, and was witness to breathtaking sights. His journey lasted more than half a century, and was only cut short by the fall of Asulon. He sailed to Elysium and Kalos with other survivors, and eventually landed on the shores of Anthos. Dimaethor settled in Leumalin with the majority of his race. However, he has yet to find his parents, though he believes they still live. Ambitions for the Future: After the fall of Asulon, and with influences from his father, Dimaethor wishes to become a Sentinel and help protect Malinor. Personality: Though outwardly a calm, collected individual, Dimaethor can be ruthless and cold. He has a deep suspicion, though also curiosity, of other non-elven races. As he wishes to become a Sentinel, he is willing to sacrafice much for Malinor. Even so, he does not make any of his decisions in haste, is often very calculating. Skills: Dimaethor is skilled with a sword and competent with most blades. He is a passing archer. He also possesses knowledge of many Elven tales, and despite his ruthless nature he is very loyal to those he deems worthy. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

____
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I frown, wishing that I was a Sentintel so I could investigate further myself. As it stands, I approach the nearest Sentinel and inform them of what I witnessed, and continue on my way.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: Knowing the duties of a Sentinel, despite not being one, I help the old man up onto his feet. I then collect the gold off the street and put it inside a spare coin pouch I have, and hand it to him.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: Having learned to haggle quite well on my journey, I barter with him for some food and supplies, as well as a new scabbard for my sword. Later, I chuckle to myself, thinking I got the best of him.
Do you have any Minecraft RP Experience? I've been roleplaying for roughly 2 years now. I started forum-based but gradually moved to Minecraft roughly a year ago.

Cylus did not have a special childhood, nor an uncommon one, or even an interesting one. He was born to a father that had taken up soldiery as a profession and a mother who was content in her role as a housewife. Perhaps the only interesting thing about Cylus' childhood is that he and his parents were some of the few colonists that made it from the destruction of Eldaria. However, he did display traits at a young age that could be considered special, or uncommon, or interesting. He would often show a level of determination unprecedented in those similar to his age. Once he set his mind to something, he often got what he aimed for. However, to counterbalance this, Cylus adopted what became a renowned sense of chivalry. He was strictly bound by the codes of honor others set upon him and which he set upon himself. But those that grew close to him - too close, as it turned out - learned that he occasionally showed a warped sense of "the greater good". He would sacrafice almost anything to accomplish what his sense of chivalry demanded; which was often distorted from what others had. However, this darker side of him was kept well to himself, and many thought he would become an eminent soldier when he decided to take up the same profession as his father. As he is approaching his second decade of life, it will not be a long time yet.

You fight for survival, with no food, you're starving. You come across a hut in the Jungle, You enter and see a lit fire, however no one is around. Do you steal the supplies? or leave them be? As it is a matter of life or death, I take only enough supplies to survive. As honor calls for, in the morn, I forage for the same supplies I took, and replace them.
You see someone heavily armored coming to attack you and your friends. Do you fight them? Or run at an attempt to save your life? I stand ready against the foe and protect my family and friends, for honor calls for me to do so.
You meet a strange hooded man offering you supplies, you see he has a bag with something in it. What do you do? He is most likely a normal merchant, thus I ignore the bag and continue bartering with him.
You come across a tomb, dark and quiet and huge in size, you see the edges lined with diamond plates. A sign reads "Enter if you dare". What is your first thought? Evil no doubt lurks within! For the greater good, I must vanquish it.

I have some questions of making another character, because Asul can't earn her own money anymore
Firstly, should I fill in the OOC aswell or just say about my IC that it is Asul creating a new character?
Secondly, have I been on the server long enough andd a trusted enough roleplayer to create a character that is a mage from the start, like druid, druid looks coool to me until I maybe change my mage rank? I think I will try dragonlord.
Thirdly, am I allowed to make my character a sibling of my sister, her name is Acaele Malii, so my character will be something like my old Roleplay name only with the surname, Evareyla Malii?
Fourthly, may I start as a higher rank than other people because I am already a noble on Asul so, I do believe I should be okay because I am already on the server? I am thinking of the T2+ artisans, soldier and archer, T2+ workers?
I might buy another account for this character... I hate changing skins because my PC has not got enough CPU and RAM.
Until you get an official answer from one of the admins, here's what I know:
Dragonlords are nearly impossible to achieve, as they are only given to the most trusted and talented roleplayers due to their inherent possibility of abuse.
No matter your rank, if you're starting a new character it must be from Tier 1. To apply for a mage rank, you must fill out this application.

That's all I know. Good luck.
