i would really like to do this, do a sort of survival island thing, but instead of staying on an island and surviving, travel in a basic direction and collect materials along the way, build a sort of campsite every night, and warehouses along the way to store excess stuff

Pistons have never been able to move blocks with data attached... such as dispensers.
it would be cool if they could... (like torches or redstone torches,pumpkins,despensers,and chests. besides u can store items in a chest on a minecart and u could move it arrownd but why cant u move a cake or a despenser??????

and it would make a migic wand witch would be able to sumoon spells provided u have enof expirience orbs and a book found in a dungion witch would give u a combo of a spell! so lets say i discoverd how to summon flames to make the creeper burst into flames then id have to right click while holding the magical wand then u would hold down left mouse button and then a trail of purple smoke appears and u need to draw the shape that u saw in the spell book to sumon a spell and then right click on the creeper and he would burts into flames!
It helps if you're on multiplayer. You get sheep and chicken, they get cows and the third player gets pigs. Trade with each other.
If you're on Singleplayer, you need to get a farm going anyway, so try to do so sustainably. Instead of killing all your cows, milk them. Instead of killing chickens, let them mill around in an enclosed area and drop eggs. Leave pigs be so that when you update to 1.9, you will have some breeding stock. Sheep won't respawn wool until 1.9 at the very least. So instead of shearing them all and then killing them, shear the coloured ones and leave the rest. Kill spiders and collect spiderwebs to make a bow and a couple fishing rods, then use the rest of your string for wool spinning. It's not as efficient, but things have changed, right? Adapt and you should be fine.
the coolest way i've ever died was when me and my friend where mineing and found a cave we found some redstone so he starded mineing it and i disided to see wat eals is in the cave and saw that the cave was conected to a dungion i insintly ran in, placed torches, shared the loot and came out and noticed a vain of 6 dimonds right after the dungion i was like HELL YES :biggrin.gif: and out of the durckness came out 4 creepers i killed 2 my friend killed one and i laged so i was like WTF WHY CANT I KILL THIS SWHIT last thing i knew GAME OVER my friend was leaveing so he was nice inof to put my stuff in the dungion chests along with my fair share i didnt find it in a long time then he showd me where it was and i gaind 3 dimonds :biggrin.gif:

actuly they added that in 1.6 i guess u whernt lucky enof to see one until now :smile.gif:
