Welcome to the FAYZ! It's pretty much a dystopia, here, and it's every man to himself. So pick up a weapon, find some shelter, then collect all you need to survive. Hello, everyone! This is an Interest Check I wanted to post up to see if anyone was interested. This RP is based off the novel series "Gone". The idea of the novel is that everyone 15 and above vanish, and everyone else is left behind a mystical 20 mile wide dome, with no phone communication, no Internet, no television.
(No, you don't need to have read the book to join :3)
There are no teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. There is no way to get help.
Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents - unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers - that grow stronger by the day.
However, I've decided I'll make the age and above that everyone disappears to 18, so 17 and below stay. This means that the Perdido Beach school now has grades from kindergarten to Grade 12. Same with Coates Academy.
Anyway, this RP will be different to the story, where Sam, Astrid and all the rest don't exist, and the "Big Poof" happened only moments ago.
Your characters can be chosen to have powers or not (though I'd say most would choose to have a power). You can also choose what power you want, as long as you don't make it OP. If lots of people are interested, I'll post up the RP, with a map of the FAYZ, or Fallout Alley Youth Zone, and also the map of Perdido Beach.
As Mike ran, he heard another yell. He looked towards the sound and saw a teenager roughly his age quietly yelling at them to run towards them. He couldn't think long, in a matter of moments a horde would be on their asses, so he just ran to where the boy was, not checking behind him to see if the man or the zombies were in pursuit.
Mike had heard sounds approaching him, but it was sudden and unexpected when he heard someone speak. He jumped slightly, hitting the dumpster and pointing his gun in the general direction of the voice. Realising it was someone alive, he couldn't help but quietly yell, "Jesus hot sauce christmas cake, go ahead and give me a heart attack!" He pointed his gun down, not wishing to make enemies with any other survivors. He kept his hand on his gun, however, as you can never be too certain.
Mike was about to introduce himself, when he heard groans from nearby. He peeked around the dumpster and found the two zombies heading towards them. Seems they must've heard him bang into the dumpster from earlier. "Oh crap, well there's no time for introductions, let's go!" He immediately began to bolt out of the alley.
Mike drifted through alleys and made acquaintances with the shadows as he moved. Using the back streets to his advantage, he scanned every possible location for both zombies or humans, hoping to find his dad. He held his handgun in his hand, his rifle slung over his shoulder, with his backpack. So far there have been no signs of humans or zombies, surprisingly. Although that would make sense; he only left his bunker a couple minutes ago, and this town is named after how small it is after all.
At some point he had heard the radio announcement. It was somewhat convincing but he couldn't be sure. He was currently in a state of fear as to what may have happened to his dad, but then he thought about it. If my dad wasn't... bitten, he'd hear the message, right? Maybe he'd expect me to go to the park as well. He scratched his head and then continued to move, deciding to trust his mind.
It wasn't long before he spotted the elderly couple. He had seen them before, but he had never talked to them. In fact, they were the first people he had seen for three months, excluding his dad, of course. He started to smile, and moved towards them, but after a second, he stopped in his tracks. He realised that they were not acting normally, and the first thing he thought was to hide. He was already in an alley, and he jumped behind a dumpster, being sure they hadn't seen him yet.
tripl3dogdare, just a reminder that these zombies are supposed to be insanely hard to defeat. In order to defeat a zombie you'd have to completely annihilate the zombie, or somehow handicap the zombie. Even defeating 5 zombies by a single person would be what I'd assume a mary sue character.
So... 6 people voted for "Dead End". I don't know if anyone noticed, but, it's up, and we can't start with only two players. I don't know what happened to the rest of you but this kinda was an interest check and, well, I guess you've lost interest? Hopefully not, anyway, it's up, we're waiting, mhmm
Yeah, his last post was back in 2015. Also, why don't you make a character since it seems to take over a day to think of a character for the other two?
