    I'm trying to make a new pipe as an addon for buildcraft, but I can't find any form of documentation. From what I see by looking at the API, I have to provide my own pipe handler, item trigger, and pretty much everything else. If anyone could point me towards some sort of documentation, it'd be much appreciated.

    After going onto the buildcraft wiki, trying to figure out what the new quartz pipe does, I stumbled across this page. Apparently, the stripe pipe could break blocks, and place blocks. As a side effect of placing blocks, the stripe pipe could ultimately build a straight line of transport pipes. This then got me thinking. With the new item coloring system, you could control how the pipe behaves.

    What the advanced stripe pipe would do, is look at the color of an incoming item, and place it based on that color,very much like John Von Neumann's original 29 state self-replicating machine. For example, passing along a stone pipe with a white color would move the advanced stripe pipe forward one, and place the stone pipe behind it. An orange colored pipe could cause the pipe to move left, magenta right, light blue up, and yellow down. With the remaining colors, you could add extra functions to place the pipe in the direction without moving the advanced stripe pipe.

    I could make this mod once the new API is official. I just wanted to write down my scattered ideas in case anyone was interested in my idea.

    I managed to get it to generate, but I was a bit over-whelmed by all of the block IDs that this mod uses... There's no way that I can change all of those IDs.

    The config doesn't appear to be generating for me. I'm getting a "BiomesOPlenty.cfg" file. but it doesn't have any contents. There's currently an ID conflict between BoP and IC2, and I can't resolve it when the config isn't generating properly :(

    A bit of a minor bug, but when you right-click on an import bus with an item/block in your hand, the item will perform it's right-click action, and the block will get placed on the bus. If you right-click on an export bus, this doesn't happen.

    my friends and I play on this server, and while problems besides books Gregtech and TC3 have not noticed. and even in books TC3 almost all the recipes are displayed correctly in addition to these four (maybe more, I could not see)
    I'm sorry that I write here, but the forum Gregtech me not developing subject.
    Limit? You have 200 freaking mods installed. Forge was not made to handle this much stress.

    What if you try adding Applied Energetics to Gregtech, TC3, and IC2?

    you badly understood me. item is no conflict. all recipes work item is.
    problems with displaying the recipes in the book (TC3).
    and all I said about the conflict ...
    because your cables were there ... I decided that the case either in your mode or TC3. but the problem disappears when you remove zi_gregtechmod2.77b.zip.
    and all the blame on each other or on the conflicts which are not. recipes work. You can use an item (TC3) and your cables.

    Looking over your log, you have reached the limit of mods. You'll have to remove some of them if you want to go without problems. Also, get rid of optifine. It causes all sorts of problems with forge mods.

    What I don't get, is how Gregtech could cause a "conflict" between two different mods.How many other mods do you have installed? You might have hit your mod limit, and the crafting IDs are conflicting.

    I tested it with TC3, and Gregtech installed, and I didn't get any problems.

    It's not a problem with Applied Energetics. You obviously have an ID conflict somewhere.
