I think it makes at least a little sense. Microsoft is mandating that Switch users create XBox Live accounts... like seriously? Makes no sense. And they said it has to do with platform cross-compatibility.
That being said, unless you want to login to an X-Box account which I don't even know if you have to pay for it just to play on an entirely unrelated console, this isn't a black and white issue.
I'm not advocating for Sony as a company. trust me, I'm not. I'm actually just upset with microsoft's methodology. lol

Jojovein is a modpack centered around enhancing every aspect of vanilla on top of having fun and chaotic combat. It attempts to capture the feeling of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure with mods like vampirism, the jojo mod, abyssalcraft, and consecration. Rather than being about automation and nomadic dungeoning as many modpacks are, jojovein adds multiple layers of detail to every single area you travel to, while remaining very light and running smoothly.
Having MCA, you can marry villagers, capture villages as a vampire/hunter turning villagers into those factions, etc. Hunter players, following the sun and having great courage, can smite the undead far more easily and have increased attack speed/power. They have exclusive weapons/armor/potions. Vampire players can see in the dark, turn into a bat, shoot blood projectiles, have increases strength and health, and currently have unlimited stand rush among other powers. However, a great sacrifice must be made for those who follow the path of ambition! Vampire players die in sunlight and run on blood instead of hunger.
Other mods include archicraft, which allows players to erect massive buildings, and a mod to call horses from anywhere in the world. You can even strike famous jojo poses. Yare yare daze.

How do I obtain a stand?
Stand powers require learning the fundamentals of abyssalcraft. Basically, craft a necronomicon, charge it with a statue found in darklands or built by shoggoths, and gather the materials found in JEI.
How do I fight the undead? They are too strong!
While it is true night mobs are incredibly strong, they all have drawbacks as well. When fighting a zombie/skeleton type, aim for the head, causing it to die shortly. All undead mobs can have their damage reduction and regeneration disabled when hit with a cheap wooden stake or eventually any holy/light/fire based enchantment.

I don't have a definitive solution since every modpack is different, but lag spikes from my experience are allocated memory issues so you may wanna try adding mods like foamfix or betterfps to the mix. Also, try running it with 3 GB because you may be overfeeding it RAM on the other hand.
If it's working fine in both SP and new LAN worlds that's probably a sign the mods are keeping too much stuff loaded/running within the confines of your friend's save. If it's working badly even on those then it is indeed something with your pc/java and try the above steps.

The Legend of Zelda: Unbreakable is a modpack that aims to make players feel like they are actually playing a Legend of Zelda title. With an immersive assortment of music tracks from the game and the Zelda Sword Skills mod, this will satisfy many Zelda fans' thirst for adventure. Start off with 3 Hearts, and work your way up to 3 rows by dungeoning. Learn new sword skills and become strong enough to take on harder structures! Perhaps you want to build yourself a ship with archimedes ships to sail the great sea, or a train with traincraft to easily travel between continents. The only limit is your imagination!
But the Sea and The Land aren't the only places worth exploring. Caves are now much richer, and you can even explore the skies! With mods like the aether, natura, chocolate quest, and dungeon pack, you may find a village or dungeon while traversing the skies on your Moa. As you get stronger, more clever, and start increasing your arsenal, you can take on more powerful opponents who were too hard in the beginning and gain even better loot. This means you can revisit older locations and adds another layer than simply moving from chunk to chunk.
This modpack is highly configured, so you will find heart containers in other structures and named enemies with village names. However, it is not tested a whole lot yet, and is in a sort of beta phase, so things are subject to change. In particular, dungeon loot tables still need lots of work.

Is there a server for this modpack? No, there will not likely be a server for this modpack because it wouldnt be sustainable for a dungeon based modpack unless the demand is super high. However, if you check the discord, there is a server for one of my other modpacks!

If you think the 3 hearts is not fair, you are probably taking on hard dungeons too early, but you can always cheat yourself in some.

No. Not only are Zelda Sword Skills and better dungeons not for 1.12 yet, but a ton of other mods in this modpack are not yet there either. Furthermore, we already have mods in the pack that backport features. I truly believe this is the optimal version for this modpack atm.

Spawners in my modpack are becoming a massive problem. Because of the way my mods are set up, players can abuse them for special points and ruin progression/immersion.
To combat this, I want to know if there is any mod in existence that causes them to break just by existing. I cant even find a way with block properties.

I tried deopping yesterday for tests sake and the list remained unchanged, but we didnt try losing any backpacks after that, so I guess the ones from the op status were already saved on their player’s list or something. Controlling it with commands is totally fine by me. If any other issues arise, I’ll get back to you.

Running 3.5.4 of this mod on 1.7.10, and its working like a charm, with only one exception.
For some reason, When my friend uses a backpack restorer he can access the backpacks I lost as well. It seems like it could be pretty exploitable making the jump to a larger server.
Is this a bug fixed in the last few updates? If not, is there any other option than to disable the restorers?

Reading this makes me so happy. I really wanted to make an experience that is totally unique and pushes the limits of modded minecraft. Vanilla maps can get pretty wild, but once you add mods you can change the game entirely!

A good way to find this out on 1.7.10 is the tellme mod, and you can type /tellme dump mobs
I would like to do the same thing too. Out of curiosity, how did you figure out how to dimension restrict them? I'd like to stop their spawning outright so I can control when they are fought.

Speaking of which, testing Dragon Block C with this mod, players have peculiar fights with titans. At some point, they have the strength to one shot the titans, but the titans are totally invincible until you clear their vulnerable conditions. So flying behind them and hitting them or dropping a spirit bomb either anticlimatically does nothing or vaporizes them depending on the player's knowledge of their weakness....
I kind of wish there was a config option to just directly attack them tbh, they would be very similar to the raid bosses of Xenoverse 2. XD
Anyways, awesome mod! Well, that compliment doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the absurd amount of detail in this mod. It's astounding. Not sure how development is going, if it is still alive or not, but in any case, thank you for creating this masterpiece!

-Rather than being sonic clones, Amy is now a clone of blaze who now is somewhat floaty

-More accurate start-up message
Note: Currently, Blaze and Amy cant squeeze through areas in ruins zone without taking off their shoes. I'm going to fix this in the next update.
I could really use a youtube playthrough of this. The first person to record a full playthrough to the end will get their name in Credits Zone located in the final boss area.

I know there hasn’t been an update on this one for a while, and that’s honestly because I view this modpack as a finished product. However, there are a good number of mods that recieved some updates which I have been continuously monitoring. So there will be some more mod updates in the near future, whether I get to that in a week or a month. I am actively working on the sonic one atm.
