    Sorry guys!

    Something went wrong during the build process, and the release file was not obfuscated correctly. I now replaced it with the correct one, please re-download it from the same link as before.

    My bad! /)_(\

    Thank you for writing about this issue, TheLoreSeeker.

    As for NPC village markers, I'm planning to add a filter by marker type to the GUI. For now I've added a config option to disable automatic marker creation for villages, which you can edit at .minecraft/config/antiqueatlas/settings.cfg. The idea behind village markers is that they don't completely disappear from the map at a very large scale.

    The V_DESERT_HILLS name looks like something the author forgot to rename. I'll ask him about that.

    Hi BangaaDragoon.

    I would suggest you manually edit the biome_textures.json file after it refreshes again and add the lines from the BoP addon's respective config file. It would also help if you sent me the fml-client-latest.log file located in .minecraft/logs.

    Hi CostyGP, according to the crash log, you are playing Minecraft 1.7.10 with Antique Atlas made for version 1.7.2, which is most likely the cause of the crash. Please pick the appropriate mod download, the MC version is always in the mod file name.

    I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you, John_Murdock, because it doesn't really update the map except for two very special cases. In your case it was the lava that came to the surface that triggered the update. Another case would be a change in surface water, like if you dug up or drained a sufficiently large pond.

    So, was that the bug? I'm afraid it wasn't clear from your message.

    Thanks for the interesting suggestions. Can't promise when I'll get to work on them though.

    Antique Atlas v4.2.4 (hotfix / pre-release)

    Download: http://adf.ly/1IwpbK

    or on Curse Forge - be sure to pick the appropriate download!

    Since other known issues will require much work, I'm making this sort of a pre-release with improvements and fixes for the main issue: the huge lag. If you experience lag spikes or slow loading of chunks, please open the config file .minecraft/config/antiqueatlas/settings.cfg and try disabling do_scan_ponds and do_rescan, it should help.

    Other features:

    • Added Danish locale (thanks to @Zerotiger)
    • Improved lava tile stitching (thanks to @DrCopernicus)
    • All atlases save individual zoom level and browsing position.
    • Added options to change default zoom, markers and player icon scale.

    Is anyone still having the issue with markers not saving upon logging out of the world? Because for some reason I can't reproduce it anymore.

    Thanks for reporting this, lordcleverpork!

    I apologize because this is in fact a bug I simply haven't tested for. All the atlas data is correctly stored on the server, but apparently is only updated on the client while you explore new terrain (which is incorrect and will be addressed!)

    In the meantime, here's a workaround: your atlases will be properly synchronized if you disconnect and reconnect to the server.

    Thanks, sageraziel!

    There is a way to add your own marker icons, check out this tutorial: https://github.com/Hunternif/AntiqueAtlas/wiki/Adding-Custom-Markers

    Golrith, I apologize that I posted incorrect instructions for installing your texture pack.

    I know that installation should be made simpler and automatic, but until it is, may I ask that you clean up the file "biome_textures.json" a bit? Remove all the vanilla stuff, separate BoP and Thaumcraft, add a couple of comments to help people understand how this is supposed to work, like this:

    "data": {
    # BoP Biomes.
    # Make sure the IDs match those in your BoP config.
    "123": "BOP_BIOME_1",
    "124": "BOP_BIOME_2",
    ...
    # Thaumcraft Biomes:
    "234": "TC_BIOME_1",
    "235": "TC_BIOME_2"
    }

    Missing vanilla stuff will be filled in automatically.

    Zsashas, I apologize for providing instructions that were in fact incorrect and misleading.

    You don't need to edit the mod jar, instead the correct instructions are as follows:

    How to install:

    1. Copy the file "AntiqueAtlasExtra.zip" from the archive to the folder ".minecraft/resourcepacks"

    2. Launch Minecraft, go to Settings > Resource Packs and enable the resource pack "Golriths Anqitue Atlas".

    How to enable Biomes O'Plenty / Thaumcraft:

    1. Replace the file "texture_sets.json" in the folder ".minecraft/config/antiqueatlas" with the one in the archive.

    2. Similarly replace the file "biome_textures.json" or manually edit it using a text editor to copy the lines which correspond to the custom biomes from the file "biome_textures.json" in the archive file.

    3. Make sure that biome IDs in this config match the actual biome IDs in use in your BoP/Thaumcraft installations. You can use NEI to do a biome ID dump. Change the biome IDs in your "biome_textures.json" accordingly so that they match their intended textures.

    Enabling the resource pack will cause the textures to become colored in all atlases immediately.

    Additionally modifying the config "biome_textures.json" with the correct biome IDs will cause the custom biomes to be updated in a radius around you as you travel the world with an Atlas in your inventory.
