posted a message on Fullscreen on Slow Computer: Problems!
    Okay, here's a run-down of the issue:

I tried to set up fullscreen on my grandad's five-year-old hunk of metal he calls a PC. It worked... But the game crashed on the spot.
Unluckily for me, I wasn't able to deselect the fullscreen option before the crash, so every time I start up Minecraft on this intolerably slow computer the thing fullscreens and crashes.

    What do I do? D:

posted a message on Seed - Forest w/ Fast Diamond Access
    Seed: -5673929163281990211

Anyway, let me go over this seed in detail:

It's a large forest, surrounded by a mountainous desert. Only after seeing this, I knew this was a good world. Upon grabbing some wood and reeds, I came across a cave (x: 56 - z: 204) whose mouth looks tiny, but you may marvel at what you find inside: Said cave has many iron veins, making it very easy to make tools and armor with the stone pick you find in your gravity-defying bonus chest. Just barely outside of the sunlight, an enormous opening, hard to not fall into, reveals a lava pool, bordered by eight diamond. This is the easiest diamond you will ever get - if you make it out of the hole alive, of course.

Tell me about any more secrets you find on this map! :D Also, if I repeated the seed wrong, say so.

(I'd post a gallery, but crap isn't working right, so just do it yourself, you lazy...)

posted a message on what are you OCD about in Minecraft?
I always make my roofs slope up in a triangle, like an IRL suburban house, and I pretty often make the outside corners of my house out of wood logs. I also will only build my houses in forests.

posted a message on Laggy PC + Fullscreen = Problems
I'm at my grandparents' house, and I recently turned on fullscreen on the Minecraft client I installed on their ultra-slow PC. Well, the second I enabled fullscreen, the screen went solid black and the window stopped responding. Now, I've tried to turn the fullscreen off, but whenever I sign in, it just does the Mojang logo and goes black and unresponsive again. So basically I can't access the game. And I desperately want to play in this moment in time.

Help me, people of the forums! HELP MEEEE!

posted a message on Can someone make me a download for a .jar with ShadowMod?
I managed somehow to screw my computer up to the point where no mods I installed would work. Rest assured, I did it right. Every time. Still wouldn't work. Anyway, since I can't install mod files directly into my .jar, can someone somehow set up a download, or does anyone know a download that gives me a minecraft.jar with a preinstalled ShadowMod 1.3.2.? And honestly, if you can't do this, I've seen a lot of Dynamic Shadow mods that come with .jars with the mod but are in the format of a regular ol' file, so can someone teach me how to change a regular file (that was downloaded enclosed in a .zip file) into a .jar file?

posted a message on Ideal Seed for Epic-Sized Builds (and a Village)! 1.2.5
    The seed is as follows:

    -3182777248533376051 (Default World Type)

This seed spawns you in a nice, flat grassland, very ideal for insanely huge builds, if you're into that sort of thing. Not too far away, there's a village. Yeah... That's about it. But, hey, flat land! Don't see that often, do you? Don't forget to post pictures and, if I typed the seed incorrectly, to say so and I'll retype it.

The quest for flat seeds continues...

:Diamond: Post pictures, please! Not like there's much to see, though...

posted a message on Does Anyone Have a Server with the Following Qualifications:
I've been trying to find good servers for a while, and if a server isn't exactly how I like it, it's dead to me. Does anyone have or know a server that has:

    1. No Player Versus Player. Many people see PvP as a way to collect items without actually surviving like a normal person. For me, it's getting repeatedly killed by the same people who do it just because they can.

    2. No Griefing. Yeah... This one's really self-explanatory. I don't want to get griefed. Period.

    3. No "I-Conomy". IConomy just takes away from the original idea of legitamitely collecting items.

There. End of mah list. Well? Start posting the servers.

posted a message on I give up. 3 weeks, 10 hours later, please help me
    Quote from toe2thaknee

I made a video to show my struggles.. I've probably read at least half of this site by now, and have no idea what is going wrong...

I am currently running Java 6.32, and can play in browser, but cannot execute the .exe application; screen goes gray, an error message pops up, but is invisible; probably stating that my .minecraft folder in appdata is messed up, because it pops up when I press enter.

any ways, here is a video of me trying a few weeks ago, and yesterday (videos mashed)

I'm really sorry. I have no idea what this problem is. Can't you just settle for browser until a person more intelligent than I replies?

posted a message on Can't Create New Single-Player Worlds... Plz Help!
Over the past week, I've had this issue:

Whenever I try to create a new SinglePlayer world, the "Loading Chunks" text appears for a split-second. It is replaced by the plain dirt background, and after several seconds is replaced with a plain black screen. This only occurs when creating new SinglePlayer worlds: MultiPlayer servers and old SinglePlayer worlds are just fine.

I have received several error messages, none of which I have found to contain any important information about the problem, except that all the error messages were sent while I was playing on a snapshot. (I changed back to 1.2.5, yet the problem remained.)

I have already tried redownloading my .jar, restarting my computer, playing on Browser, and waiting it out. I can assure this has nothing to do with mods, as my computer saves my ".class" files as ".txt" files, which prevents me from downloading mods (but that's a pleading post for another day.)

Does anyone know what's going on, and/or how to fix it? PLEASE! Srsly, guys, I'm desperate!
