posted a message on Mod updating help

I need help updating a 1.7.10 mod for 1.8.9. I was reading that updating the mod for a newer version is not too hard but it is still a bit too complicated for me. All I need is the mod to be updated for the latest version of minecraft and that's it. I don't need any new features added. If anyone can help me please do get with me on Skype and we can discuss this further thanks. My Skype is RainbowDashPower1

posted a message on Need help solving a code to a secret door in prison server

Not sure where else to post this so here it goes. I have been playing on a prison server called the Minecraft Community Prison and they have been adding lots of things recently to make the server more fun and get less boring for players. One of the new features is a hidden door down below the new smuggler who deals drugs to people. The door has a complex code pictured below and no one has been able to figure out how to open it. What we do know about it is that there are clues scattered all around MCP on signs usually in hidden areas, It warps you to some place called the island, and the Admin who made the code says we probably won't figure it out anytime soon. None of the admins will give us hints or tell us how many clues there are in total. The clues we have so far are as follows:

    1-x-Block x/3

    4-9-A

    Y-5-E

These ones below we were only able to see with Free Cam

    B-9

The code it bullshi*. (It said it exactly like that on a sign except the "*" was a t.)

Any ideas on what the code could be? (Note: once the correct code is put in we should be able to hit the button on the side and it will open the door which is not pictured)

In case you were wondering the server ip is: mcp.cdgs.net

posted a message on Need experienced builders and devs for PvP RPG server.

I am looking for experienced builders to help me make the map for my new server. I need people capable of building amazing castles, cities, small village type houses that don't look like a 5 year old made them, and a central hub. All buildings will look medieval-esque. It will help if you have played World of Warcraft before because some of the buildings are going to be based off of ones from that game.

The idea of this server is that there will be two possibly more in the future huge cities similar to Stormwind and Orgrimmar from WoW. Each city is it's own team and you from whichever team get to explore the world and PvP with players on the other teams. You will also be able to raid other teams home cities and capture their flag (If you can!) which if you take to your teams home city will get you money and exp. as a reward.

You will have access to the shop where you can buy and sell any materials you have/need such as wood, different blocks, coal and pretty much any item in the game. You may collect materials in the wild if you prefer not to buy them but every hour the world resets so that there will still be plenty left for new players while also keeping the world looking at its best.

You will be awarded 10 dollars in game economy money for each kill you make on an opponent of any other team.

We will have a custom enchantment and repair system.

We will have plots for sale as well.

The best part of all is that we will have different classes with a mix of pro's and con's to keep them fair and balanced (As of now there are 7 classes to chose from more may come later.) each class will have their own unique abilities making them fun to play as. Once you pick your class you cannot change it unless you pay with IRL money using buy craft for probably around 5 dollars.

With buy craft you will also be able to buy donator access granting you to pay for repairs instead of using levels to repair, increased shop sell prices for all items, and small other features that in the long run will not make you too OP against other players but would be useful to have. Other buyable things include iron crates which when opened will drop a random item of random quality some of which you can only get from the crates and more.

The server will host events (Mini games basically) 2 times a day once in the morning and once in the evening which will have various rewards for winning.

Unfortunately I will not be able to pay anyone who helps at the time so please be sure you can actually spare time to help with the server. I don't want anyone who says they can help and then quits after a while before it is finished because they have "too much on their hands." or similar.

For builders wanting to help, you will need to present to me some samples of your previous work and all devs wanting to help will have to demonstrate to me that they can do what is asked. All builders will be working in teams to get various parts of the map done such as cities and the spawn city. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have them and thanks in advance for all those who wish to help!

posted a message on Can't play local WiFi games with mods

I recently download an app for use with block launcher called mcpe: toolbox on Android which is basically too many items plus plus. When I log on to single player world's it let's me log on and I can even log onto multi player servers with the mod it just disables it. Whenever I try to join my sister's local world over WiFi it keeps crashing Block Launcher and my choices are either OK or report it. What can I do to fix this? (both the app and the server plus my game are updated to the current version of mcpe.)

posted a message on Need help finding a certain hacked client

Then how did someone join the Prison server I am playing on for the first time and rank up from C to B to A to E to Free to Citizen to Baron in around 5 seconds when that would have cost him more then 6 million dollars in economy money which is hard to get on the server and there is no possible way he could have started with that much?

Well then maybe a mod or some kind of hack. I have seen people do it before.

So I have been fooling around with hacked clients recently and I was wondering if you guys know of one that has the ability to add money for the economy plugin and to be able to add exp. for enchanting. I found a few great ones with awesome features but not those which are really important to me. Anyone know of one?

posted a message on Need help with crashing issue.

Minecraft used to run fine on my computer with no lag, 60 fps, Fancy graphics, AND Nvidia surround on 3 32 inch TV's if I wanted to with my specs, but now it is laggy and crashes all the time and some of those times it says I ran out of memory. I am running Windows 10 on an Intel i7 quad core 3.4 GHZ processor with 32 gigs of ram and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4 GB and a solid state drive. I just re installed JAVA and that did not fix anything and I recently had a professional computer shop here where I live take my computer apart and test every part to make sure they all work as they should before putting it back together and they said there were no issues. (I do this every now and then to insure my machine is in top shape) What could be the issue? I would not want to downgrade from Windows 10 if I have to because I love it too much.

posted a message on Minecarts and all rideable things lagging on my server
Every time I ride a Minecart, A horse/Donkey/Mule or any other ridable thing in the game it feels like some learning to drive stick shift for the first time it keeps starting and stopping. It is very annoying. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I have a regular vanilla survival server on a gaming PC that has 16 gigs of ram, A Nvidia GeForce gtx 760 with 2 gigs of video ram, an Intel i7 processor, and a ssd c drive and an hdd secondary.

I am making a map based off of Tabora desert in the Bogon galaxy from Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando. The object of the map is similar to the game itself: try to collect as many of the 100 crystals (So a block of some kind which at the moment is undecided) as you can and try not to die. Which ever team has the most crystals at the end of the match wins. If you end up dying you will re-spawn but you will loose all of the crystals you collected and If you fall into a pit not only will you lose all of your crystals but they will re-spawn as well. in addition to PvP there will also be at least one mob spawner close to each crystal with hostile mobs that will try to kill you as well to make it more challenging and stay true to the game. I will be hosting the server on my own PC for now + make the map and I just need some experienced Minecraft programmers to help me make game play part happen.

The picture is the base template I am using to make the map. The map will be created in world painter and then I will edit it accordingly.
