There was an accident recently, because of the pipes taking every chance they get to leak that essentia everywhere throughout your base you have noticed when essentia escapes out of the pipes it can have various different effects on you and your environment, you decide to research more into this interesting phenomena and thus have created a way to make elixirs from various catalysts and some liquid essentia

The alchemical abstractor would be a multiblock that would function almost like the mystical construct
The abstractor would also have a fairly similar Gui To the Osmotic Enchanter from Thuamic Tinker.

the alembics will probably be replaced with a set made of glass, to show potions that are being brewed they will also wrapped with tubes or perhaps even plants from Thuamic Garden


required in the brewing process is multiple catalysts and one type of liquid essentia
(this is due to limitations in Thuamcraft 4.1)

Liquid essentia required will vary depending on the elixir you are trying to make

It is required that liquid essentia to be piped directly into the Alchemical Absractor

It's an addon to azanor;s Thaumcraft 4. The intention is to add new, and useful items you can create, using the knowledge you've acquired from the vanilla thaumcraft researches. This mod makes use of either modified, or just copied versions of Thaumcraft 2 or 3 assets, the reason for this is that I can't make any sort of art at all, and I'd rather make use of fantastic unused assets than to reinvent the wheel and create my own, that would probably be sub-par.

Power Advantage



Hi everyone! My latest mod project is a mod to add power systems to Minecraft 1.8 (kinda like BuildCraft). So far, I have a functional proof-of-concept mod with 2 machine blocks and 1 cable block. You can put redstone in the generator, connect it to a powered furnace, and then smelt items in the furnace by transferring power from the generator. For debugging purposes, punching a block makes it tell you how much energy it has in a chat message. The GUI needs a lot of work still. As of version 0.0.4, there's now some new blocks for handling fluids.

Update:
New version 0.0.4. I've added a new crafting system (shaped furnace recipes), complete with NEI display, but I have not actually used this feature for anything yet. I've also made PowerAdvantage require the Base Metals mod, because those metals will be needed to craft stuff in Poqwe Advantage (when I get around to adding recipes).

The Exciting new feature is fluid handling. I've added copper pipes for transferring fluids, a drain block for collecting fluids, and discharge block for dumping fluids. The series of images below show me moving a pool of lava using these blocks:

It is also my goal to make it as simple as possible to create add-on mods for this mod (hence the API designation). However, there's a lot of work to do to achieve these goals. So I'd like to get your opinion on a few things:

1. What are the most important/useful machines to have in Minecraft?

2. What kinds of power sources do you want in Minecraft? (e.g. electricity, steam-power, redstone, etc.)

3. What kine of visual theme do you think it should have? (e.g. steam-punk, heavy industry, improvised, post-apocalyptic, futuristic, etc.)

4. If you are a mod maker, what features would it be most important for you to be able to control? (e.g. energy type, update interval, NBT format, etc.)

Hi everybody! I'm Crowley, and I'm totally addicted to playing Skyblock maps, which is the major influence for this mod. I love starting from nothing and working my way up, but I have always felt that there were a few glaring omissions in vanilla skyblock that didn't make any sense. This is how I fixed them.

You can use this mod with any map and it will be both fun and useful, not just Skyblock. Still, I recommend using the original Skyblock map by Noobcrew.

Clay

Did you know that barrels fill in the rain?

I wonder what happens when you mix this really fine dust with a full barrel of water...

Is... is that clay? YES!

Soul Sand

So water barrels have a strange relationship with Mycelium...

The extra moisture might cause mushrooms to spontaneously erupt from the ground.


The spores that rise from the tainted soil have a strange effect on the water though, slowly turning it into the vile and hungry Witch Water. Don't have any mycelium handy? Mushroom Stew would probably work also.


The resulting water is just brimming with dark powers. DO NOT DRINK! NOT KOOL-AID!
You can try mixing some sand with it though.

Netherrack

If you should find yourself with some extra lava... (Honestly, who DOESN'T have gallons of the stuff sitting in cupboards, am I right?) Try adding just a pinch of redstone dust.

It should quickly congeal into a dense mass. The product of this combination seems to have unique heat-producing properties...

End Stone

Alternatively, you could try adding some glowstone dust instead.


This new stone is instantly cold to the touch. Very spooky. Tastes a bit like processed cheese.

Slime

In a misguided attempt to create ice cream I stumbled on this recipe of dubious usefulness.
Simply mix some milk with a barrel of water.


Give it some time to ripen...


And scoop it out by the handful. It makes a great glue. Strangely enough, it tastes a bit like egg yolk. Not bad actually. Don't let it sit too long, or it might get hungry...

Mossy Cobblestone and Mossy Stone Bricks

Wooden barrels do occasionally leak. Thicker substances like dirt have no problems staying put, but water especially has a tendency to squeeze its way through the cracks between the planks.

If the conditions are just right, the extra moisture might help some moss to grow on nearby surfaces. Moss is pretty delicate though, so it'll need some shade and protection from the sun and the rain. Keep that in mind if you decide that you want to set up a Mossery.

Hammers

Hammers are new tools added to the game. The have a couple great uses, such as...

Resource Production

Hammers smash blocks into smaller pieces, like this cobblestone for example...

Just beat it up a little bit aaaand, instant GRAVEL!

Not good enough you say? Okay, give it another go!

Behold, SAND! Surely, you can't smash sand can you? YOU CAN!

Dust? What can you do with dust?

Hammers can also turn sandstone back into sand and turn stone bricks into cracked stone bricks.

Ore Processing

Also, if you're feeling adventurous (or just greedy) try smashing iron or gold ore with a hammer.

Ok, now what can we do with these...?

Try putting 4 of them together... You'll probably have extra in your inventory, but thats a GOOD thing, because every once in a while you'll have enough to get a free block!


Then we can smelt the gravel...


Want more free metal? You could always smash the gravel too. Each time you smash the ore down, you have another chance of having a little left over to add to your next ingot.


Just remember, you can only smelt BLOCKS. The items have far too little metal content to smelt by themselves.

Still not enough? Maybe a magical lucky hammer would help...

How do I make one?

Here is how to get your hands on one!

Crook

The crook has a lot of uses.Firstly, it is great for taking care of animals.

A quick right click will pull the animal to you and away from those dangerous ledges. That should buy you enough time to repair a fence or fix a wall.

If an enemy does manage to spawn on your island, hitting it with a crook will do exactly zero damage. However, it will shove the enemy backwards. With some planning, you could arrange for them to be shoved into the void.

And finally, the improved reach allows you to better inspect leaves as you break them, making it twice as likely to get saplings (and apples) from leaf blocks as you break them.How do you get your hands on one?

Silkworms

Most people don't know this, but with a crook and enough patience you might find a tiny silkworm hiding in among the leaves...

If you let it free on a nearby leaf, it will colonize the tree with renewed vigor, slowly spreading to nearby leaf blocks!

Truly, these industrious little workers can perform miracles... They won't leave any leaves uneaten!

Be careful though, because once your wiggly friends finish with a tree, there won't be enough living foliage left to replant any saplings.It does make a great source of string though! The closer to white the leaves are, the more silk you'll get, so make sure you give them enough time to work!

If you want to get more silkworms, try using your crook on the infested leaves! If you manage to accumulate a lot of the little guys and you get pretty desperate, they are pretty high in protein...

Sieves

Once you have your silkworm farm going, you might consider trying a Sieve.

Just throw some stuff in there with a right click. It'll accept dirt, gravel, sand, dust and soul sand.

Right click a lot, or just right click and hold...

In no time, out pops your reward. If you're lucky... If not... You'll just have to keep trying.

Crucibles

Crucibles use heat to melt things.

They require a heat source directly beneath them to function.

Anything that burns can be set on fire. Netherrack is nice because it lasts forever. If you're low on resources, a lit furnace could do the trick. Even a torch can work in a pinch. Keep in mind though, the lower the quality of the heat source, the longer it will take to melt things.

Just right click to add something to melt...

Then give it some time...

To make one, combine some clay with bonemeal to make porcelain, and carefully sculpt the crucible.

After that, you'll need to fire it in a furnace to harden the porcelain.

Agriculture

Grass Seeds:Use them on dirt to start growing grass.

Ancient Spores:Use them on dirt to start growing mycelium.

Cows seem to have a strange allergic reaction to these spores. Use at your own risk!

Other Seeds
If you are lucky with a sieve you might find seeds for (from left to right) oak trees, spruce trees, birch trees, jungle trees, sugar cane, cactus, potatoes or carrots.

Stones

I wonder what happens if you use a hammer on smooth stone? Let's give it a try.

Stones? These fit perfectly in my hand. I'm suddenly overcome with the urge to throw them at EVERYTHING!

Or perhaps I'll just put them back together. Better safe than sorry.


I also found some of these little things while sifting dirt. That might be useful to know if I should ever find myself without any lava handy...

Dolls

With some gems and a handful of porcelain, you could sculpt a friend to keep you company up there in the sky. But he looks rather plain doesn't he? We should give him a coat of paint.


This guy has quite the hot temper! He should take a nice bath to cool off, but he insists on having the water scorching so it doesn't help much. I think he was actually more angry after the bath. He started throwing things and mumbling about burning the whole building down. I ended up giving him a restraining order (and a stapler, just to be safe).

HINT: Add it to a barrel of lava and wait.


This friend is a bit on the goth side. He likes movies about vampires and witches. He's been practicing to be a vocalist in a metal band. Not a bad guy overall, but keep an eye on him. If he thinks you're not looking, he'll pocket anything he can get his hands on.

HINT: Add it to a barrel of witch water and wait.

Compatibility with other mods.

A note on world generation.

This mod adds some extra world generation options, but they are disabled by default.
To turn them on, you'll have to go into the config settings and locate the following section.

If you turn these settings on, then any new chunks generated in those areas will be void chunks. This is perfect for getting rid of that nasty exploit of building a bridge to land in skyblock maps. This also allows you to get perfect and endless void nether and end dimensions.

Warning!
If you choose to generate the nether as a void dimension, you will not be able to find 'nether fortress' chunks and spawn blazes. Hunting invisible fortresses sucked. If you want to find nether fortresses, enable the nether_fortresses_allowed option. This will allow fortresses to spawn in the void. You'll be able to see them too!

ExtraTiC is Mod add-on to bridge Tinkers' Construct and other mods for Minecraft 1.6.4 and 1.7.10

Current Status:
The Add-on is a Work in progress, and considered a Beta.

The current version adds the ability to smelt the Metallurgy's Metals, Tools, and Alloy mixing to Tinkers' Construct Smeltery. plus Molten Metallurgy metals can be cast into ingots and blocks.

The ability to make Tools and tool parts have been added in 0.7.0

Blocks, Items and Information

Click on the name of any item bellow to be taken to its wiki! This is suggested as the descriptions bellow are just summaries of the items.

Tank Controller

The Tank Controller is the basis block for the mod. This is one of the two blocks that liquids can be placed in and removed from. Right clicking will open the GUI displaying the liquids stored and the command prompt. Commands can be entered to gain additional information regarding the multi-tank.

Tank Block

The is probably the second most common block in this mod. The Tank Block is where the fun starts. This block can be camouflaged and coloured in an infinity combination making a typical multi-tank look like a tree for instance. These tanks also increase the size of the multi-tank. These tanks will render the liquid that is within the currently selected index.

Upgrade Module

The Upgrade Module is a very important block in this mod as it allows the customization of the multi-tank that it is connected to. You can either insert a Capacity or Storage Upgrade into one of this blocks 6 slots. Each Capacity Upgrade will increase the size of the mult-tank by 1.1^n where 'n' is the number of Capacity Upgrades. Insert a Storage Upgrade to allow the multi-tank to store an additional liquid for each Storage Upgrade.

Fluid Potions

Have you ever wished that potions were liquids that could be placed in the world? Now they are! Fluid potions are found randomly generated in the Mystic Forest. They can be picked up with either a bucket or a golden chalice. Each potion has an amount of stability and once that reaches 0, the potion turns to water; however, you can repair the stability of a potion by picking it up with the golden chalice. As the chalice takes damage the stability of the potion increases.

Cleansing Water

Often known as the Fountain of Youth, cleansing water has healing properties. However due to its power it is found rarely in deserts and only 1 bucket can be found per fountain. Cleansing Water can be used to craft/repair a damaged golden chalice allowing the chalice to be reused.

Liquid Nitroglycerin

Just because TNT is not enough! Liquid Nitroglycerine is a party! Place it, activate it and wait 10 seconds. KABOOM!

Upgrades

In Dynamic Tanks there are two types of Upgrades that can be placed into the Upgrade Module. These are the Capacity Upgrade and the Storage Upgrade, each with their respective difference.

Golden Chalice

The golden chalice is you ticket to infinite potions, though be warned it is not easy to get!

Iron Mass

The Iron Mass is a simple item used in the crafting of the Tank Controller and Tank Block. Besides these two recipes it has no other purpose.

Hammer

The Hammer was added to be a simple additional step to getting the Iron Mass without adding complex machinery. The recipe is cheap and the hammer has 16 uses each producting 4 Iron Mass per craft. This gives the player the ability to craft a stack of 64 Iron Mass from one hammer.

Softened Diamond

The Softened Diamond is one of the steps in crafting the Softened Diamond Mass. This recipe required that the hammer not be damaged and unlike the Iron Mass will use the entire durability on the hammer.

Softened Diamond Mass
The Softened Diamond Mass is a tricky peice of business. It is crafting by smelting a Softened Diamond in any sort of furnace. The problem is once it is in your inventory you have 7 seconds to use it before it turns back into a diamond.

Camouflage
To camouflage or colour any tank or controller, simply SNEAK + Left Click with either a dye or the block you wish the tank to be camouflaged as. SNEAK + LCLICK with an empty hand to clear these settings.

Commands

Commands make this mod very powerful. Upon opening a Tank Controller the player will immediately notice a black command line interface on the monitor. This is where various commands can be inserted allow the user to gain extensive knowledge about their mult-tank. In addition the user can set various variables.

Storing Potions

Potions have always been limited to what could be done with them. They can't be stored except in unstackable masses and there was not way to store them in tanks. This is not the case! With Dynamic Liquid Tanks 2 you can store all the potions you want. Simply right click with the bottle on the tank and the potion will be stored.

Mystic Forest

The Mystic Forest is a dangerous place, with some unique resources. The puddles you see in the images bellow are liquid potions. The Mystic Trees are there to give you quite the scare as well.

FAQ:
Q: I have a set of tanks placed together but they are not filling? What is wrong?
A: You most likely do not have a Tank Controller. Just place one touching any one of your tanks to get it working.

Installation
Step one is to download and install Minecraft Forge. Step two DynamicLiquidTanks.jar goes in the mods folder inside .minecraft. Then proceed to modify the block ids in the config file.
