The new quest system adds little to the actual content of the game except being a huge distraction half the time. The starting island majorly sucks, and even with new content it's still just a tough, fruitless grind. The mod maker's egos are more about what this pack is about rather than the players, which is clearly shown in how they portray themselves through the "lore" of the pack.Posted in: News

Just for the record, I think the mage thing is cool, but the way the ranks worked seemed a little condescending and never fully fleshed itself out.
Also, yes, building towers/walls symmetrically is something of a pain and a virtue. I have always taken it to myself to build symmetrical things perfectly.

Also, I've noticed some errors in the innermost circular wall. On the North half (North-Western and North-Eastern bits there is a one-block anomaly on either side that juts the entirety of the wall one block northerner than it'd be if it followed the pattern exactly. The southernmost half of the innermost wall is correct (after I corrected a minor error) each "side" of the wall should be rotationally symmetrical, and follow a uniform "9-5-4-3-2-2-2-1-2-1-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-2-1-2-2-2-3-4-5-9" pattern, however whoever built the wall obviously got sloppy and therefore the wall is misshapen. I haven't even examined the outer-inner wall or the outermost wall, but for all I know those could contain geometric anomalies too.
Ps: Sorry Eussorus, the worst part of my instincts kicked in.

Because they are making everyone re-join, and I just want to keep membership ;3

Also, if they fall past or onto iron blocks, they should light fires around the place where they hit in a 3x3 radius XD
Also on my mind (completely offtopic) is smelting blaze rods into blaze ingots, which then can be used to make Blaze-Metal blocks and perhaps some interesting weapons.

Anyway, I found out why my world got tainted badly after I opened up the extra rooms in the obelisk's chamber and it actuallly had nothing to do with that, it had to do with me pick-blocking the floating obelisk and placing and destroying it as a seperate block (was named "tcbhidden") - apparently destroying it releases unworldly amounts of taint into the aura, and I did it like 10 times without noticing the taint skyrocketing up. Caution to people playing around with TC2 mechanics in Creative!

Perhaps taint tanks would attract crimson-robed pigmen cultists who steal taint from your tanks and attempt to summon through eldritch abominations through into minecraft's overworld.
Perhaps slimes could slip down through your crucible and travel through your tanks, imagine slimes that change color with the types of vis/taint they absorb, and suck up all the taint in your tanks and break them open before covering your walls in thick, dark purple slime.
I'm sure Azanor will think of something appropriate, also, thanks for responding to my question, Azanor, (I had no idea.)
I'd also wonder if he'l add something like a Pure-vis biome, light blue grass to match the silverwood trees would be lovely, It'd be really cool to see it hanging around naturally around silverwood trees, maybe you could research cinnabar ore/bonemeal/quicksilver and get a magical type of bonemeal to smear over grass to grow the blue mercury grass.
