    Hey, I'm Holycow164. I'm in the process of working on an adventure map, but as I wait for all the necessary mods to be updated, I decided to open up a temporary shop to hone my building skills while I wait.

    So what exactly is this? This is a thread where you can request structures for me to build for you. There are rules for requesting however:

    1. Tell me what you want built
    2. Tell me waht it should be called.
    3. If possible, provide some sort of reference image that I can work off of.
    4. There will be ONE DOWNLOAD LINK. All buildings will be in that download, which will be updated after a certain amount of requests are filled.

    So, request away. I'm usually on, so I should be able to get back to you pretty quickly.

    So you all remember back when achievements were first added, and everybody was all excited about them, when they blatantly have no use? What if rewards were coupled with those achievements? Like for the open your inventory achievement, you recieve 1 chest. They'd have to be balanced of course, but I think it would be more motivation to complete them. And like the bonus chest, it would be completely optional in the event that someone finds it cheap.

    No, you can actually spawn isolated ghast fireballs with the new spawning system, just floating still waiting to be punched. And I say portals because they're already programmed to be activated and deactivated my ghast balls.

    I been thinking for a while about redstone and ghast fireballs. With the new update to spawners in 1.3, you can spawn in isolated ghast fireballs that the player can punch in any direction. The way I see it, there are only two purposes for this: Portals and destruction. But what if you don't want the portals to take you to the nether? What if you have a different purpose in mind? My idea is to have a way that portals can activate redstone. I don't know how, I don't care. But a system where portals are lit and redstone activates is wanted so badly by mapmakers. (I'm sure Vechs would get a kick out of this)

    And while we're on the topic of portals, mayhaps a system where portals can be turned on and off by redstone is in order? So It could be part of a puzzle filled dungeon?

    Some of those commands are covered in the latest snapshot with the /gamerul command. What about /camera? You would select the coordinates for the camera, set the angle and the duration, and the camera would stay in that position until the time runs out, at which point it would return to the standard player camera.

    So in the latest snapshot, the /gamerule command was added, allowing map-makers to set special rules for maps. These are simply some ideas for more of those toggleable rules:

    -Tools deteriorating. You can choose what tools can break, when, and if they break at all.
    -Crafting. Yeah, I could make a rule saying no crafting, but I can't enforce it.
    -mobLoot. Being able to change what loot mobs drop. So if I want emeralds as currency in my map, I can make mobs drop it.
    -breaking blocks. So If I want to enable players to break clay in my map, but only with a shovel, I am able to do so. This could also be used to prevent other blocks from being broken.
    -Animals. So I could prevent players from shearing sheep or killing cows that I have on a farm.
    -keep inventory. Being able to make it so only certain items are kept upon death.
    -multiplayer chests. So each chest is made for each player. For example, If there is 1 wooden pick in a chest, and player 1 takes it out, player 2 would then be able to take it out as well, and any items stored in the chest by player 1 cannot be viewed by player 2-
    -sleeping. since sleeping is the players main voluntary way of setting their spawn point, perhaps there should be a rule allowing them to sleep in them as they wish, without waiting for night.
    -Some rule that allows us to prevent zombies from spawning with armor, or the opposite.
