Tbh the effects these moons have seem so random and annoying and there isn't really a reason for any of it. What's the point of these new silverfish and thorn tentacles that only spawn under very specific circumstances? What's the point of all the wacky effects that happen during the events? it just sounds like an annoyance that doesn't have any reward at the end.
Player placed leaves have a different block state so that they can be placed anywhere without decaying. There are no tags, and they aren't resource intensive at all.
I like most of this suggestion, but there really should be a terminal velocity for the mine carts. At the moment, it sounds like you can reach really unreasonable speeds that can have negative effects on the game, and give players with better hardware the option to travel faster. Minecraft is only capable of so much, and it's usually a bad idea to give certain players restricted movement.
I could support this if it was a little more useful. At the moment, its only purpose is to craft a common item that can be obtained in other simple ways. Maybe if it could also be used to craft something unique?
My suggestion though is that you get a 'portion of leather' rather than '1 [Smelted] rotten flesh = 1 leather',
Something along the lines of rabbit hides (4 Rabbit hides = 1 leather) perhaps ?
- possibly '2-3 [Smelted] Rotten Flesh = 1 Leather' ??
I actually think this could be a good idea. Leather scraps sound like a good use for rotten flesh. I've also found it weird that you can just slap a couple rabbit hides together to make a piece of leather. Maybe instead, one rabbit hide could = one leather scrap, and then four leather scraps could = one leather. This could even give alternate uses for hides and leather scraps.
yeah you could go in the nether for an hour and mine quarts but not on a skyblock where in my case the nether is empty too and only nether fortresses are seen and spawned
Yes,it's true that you can't mine quartz and other minerals in skyblock, but that isn't a good enough reason for this to be in the game. Skyblock is not a part of the main game, so there's no reason this should be added if all it would be doing is benefiting the people who play skyblock. If mapmakers want people to be able to get quartz, then they can make a way to get it. But that isn't Mojang's problem. Hence why this suggestion isn't doing well.
I don't know exactly what you're trying to suggest here? if you don't want to deal with mobs, you can try peaceful mode. as for the nausea potion, you have yet to give a recipe for it, so I have nothing to support here.
I'm not so sure on the whole "instant kill when they aren't detecting you" thing. Maybe just change it do a damage bonus instead? Not so sure on whether I support this or not yet. I't a good idea, but it could definitely do with some tweaking.
Imagine you're at 1 heart on a UHC map. you can't regenerate health, and you don't have any golden apples or potions. You come across a village at nighttime, and you see a villager wizard chucking healing potions at zombies. (I hope you can see where I'm going with this) You get a brilliant idea to earn your health back in no time at all and with no cost, you dig a hole underneath the villager, and close him in. You then dig another hole and lead a zombie into it. Finally, you dig down between the zombie and the villager and reveal them to each other, the zombie can't reach the villager because they're both trapped in place, but the villager starts throwing healing potions right into your face. BAM! instant health with no side effect. I hope you can see the problem here.

Yes, but that comes with a cost, and 90% of the time, the material or enchantments are not what you desire.

When did anybody here say anything about the fantasy realm? And how it fits into Minecraft? I think you're just getting salty about nobody supporting your suggestion, so you're putting words into our mouths just to have something to argue about. Listen, I would like to support this, but I can't until it's balanced and you have a way to implement it correctly. Because currently, a villager that chucks healing potions, even if they're just at the undead, just sounds incredibly overpowered, anybody could easily exploit that system.
I recently created a suggestion for a gamerule to switch back to the old combat system. The gamerule would return tools to their original damage and allow spamclicking again? It got loads of NO SUPPURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!11!ONE!!! and very few supporters. It's not like a simple gamerule would be the end of the world. Some just were happy with the old combat system and hate how complicated the new one is and how it requires you to work harder to get rid of mobs rather than other things like mining. If a gamerule was added it would probably end all the "I HATE 1.9!!!!!" threads and it would just make everyone happy with the new versions. Minecraft had the same combat system for 7 years so an option to switch back to it if the new combat is just not your style would not be a bad thing.
Almost every single person on that suggestion thread gave very good reasons on why that was a bad idea. And you either ignored them or replied with something like, "yeah, but I don't like it". The thread even became locked because you ended up devolving it into another 1.9 hate discussion. And no, nobody said "NO SUPPURT!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!11!ONE!!!" there were literally 4 people that even said the words "no support" and they backed up those words with paragraphs of evidence. You are simply someone who hates the idea of change, and your one argument seems to be "but it's been the same for 7 years so it didn't need to change." It's time that you realized that nobody is going to bring it back. If you honestly dislike 1.9+ combat, then just play on 1.8. trust me, nobody will mind.
In the current game, Villagers lack defense, What about iron golems?and while traps and other items might be beyond the spawn, either the Villager Priest or a new type the "Wizard guard" should be able to throw healing potions, and/or weakness at various Zombies and Skeletons, just like witches do to players. I can already see players abusing this. Zombies and Skeletons are damaged by healing potions, (try throwing healing potions on a Zombie), and it's a good augment to the logic of Minecraft. Trust me, this is not a "good augment to the logic of Minecraft" whatever that means. Villagers already have iron golems that do a fair job of protecting them, and most villagers are smart enough to stay indoors at night. Adding a new villager or reworking an already existing one into essentially a friendly witch would cause more problems than it will solve.
It doesn't OP the village, This honestly sounds incredibly OP. With this logic, it wouldn't be that hard to make a stand that supplies you with infinite healing potions. nor change the AI much, If you're adding a new villager that attacks mobs instead of running from them, it's gonna take a lot of reworking the AI. a "Wizard guard" would work like a witch. Maybe even give them a cat familiar. And what would the cat do exactly? Is it a regular cat? does it fight as well? can it be killed?...
Responses in bold. I honestly can't support this where it currently is.
This is a really nice suggestion! It all seems pretty balanced, and the pictures/examples help to get your point across. I can definitely see myself using this in combat. FULL SUPPORT
Usually, suggestions like these don't nearly go into as much detail. I like how all of the weapons have strengths and weaknesses, just as they should be. They all seem pretty balanced, however could you maybe add some damage to each of them? Or what about the durability? I like the overall idea, but it could definitely do with some more information. Perhaps the crafting recipe for shurikens could be something along the lines of a compass without the redstone? I'm assuming you would get multiple shurikens per craft. Anyway, I'll give about 90% support for now.
There's always going to be a bunch of kids complaining that Minecraft is ruined. It happens whenever there's a small update. I honestly like the new textures and how they look a lot less rough than before.

People need to stop dwelling on the 1.9 update and move on.

ugh, apparently quotes aren't working for me, but I hope you can understand what I'm quoting anyway.
