Well, The title pretty much says it all...

The reason I'm asking is because on PCPartPicker, It has a OC rating, but I am not sure if this is an error or what...

    Quote from Marc

The Minecraft username login is being phased out. Eventually, everyone will use their email address to log in. The biggest complaints that I've heard are "I don't like it" and "my email is longer to type out than my username", which unfortunately aren't really good complaints...
Bugger :( The main reason I want to be able to log in from my username is it looks neater.

    Thanks anyway though :)

No point in spending $100 extra when the 7950 will max pretty much every game at 1080p.
So would I get around 60fps+ on BF3 Maxed, while recording?

    Hi,

I recently migrated my Minecraft account, with the username "Chrome_Panda" to the mojang website.

At the time, I was unaware that it changes how you log on to Minecraft.

I really want the old log on system back.. :(

If it helps, I still have access to the E-Mail, the account, the Transaction ID, and the PayPal account.

    Thanks :)

posted a message on Which GPU?
    Hello everyone!

I was going to purchase my build within the next 1-2 weeks, but I just came across this GPU.

I was planning on getting the Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 Factory OC, but just found the Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 Factory OC.

It will be with an i5 3570k and 8gb DDR3 RAM.

Is there a significant performance drop between the 7970 and 7950?

If anyone can give me an estimate, can you please fill out a little chart about FPS per game?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    7970 OC:

    BF3 - Ultra Settings FPS: ? Ultra Settings & Recording FPS: ?

    MC W/ Shaders - FPS: ? Recording FPS: ?

CRYSIS 2 - Ultra Settings FPS: ? Ultra Settings & Recording FPS: ?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

posted a message on How to find out admin password w/o changing it...?
Bump - I really need this.

Is there a way by using some sort of boot CD, that it just displays the Admin password?

I cannot do any full resets - nor do I want to, because I'm listed on the computer as a User... Nothing special...

And I do want to recover the work and files, But I want Administrative rights just as much.

I know how to change what group I'm in, but when I click it, it asks for me to input an Administrator password.

    Thanks again

    Hi,
I am wanting to know how to find out what the administrator password is for my computer.

It is running Win7 home premium, 32bit, and i don't have any administrative rights whatsoever.

The reason why I am wanting the Administrator account, is because at school, I am in a laptop program. In the program, we are given our own laptop to use for our school work (we all pay 100% for the PC's). I had an Administrator account on my PC, with ALL my school work, and a couple of other important files, But I unknowingly got that account disabled by the school technicians (When trying to log on, it says Log on failure: user is currently disabled)

I have spoken to the school technicians, and they say I am not old enough for administrative rights, despite being 16...

Please help me out, I really need to find out the administrator password WITHOUT changing it.

    Thanks

What about rubies? Like, rarer than diamonds and you can trade them with villagers like emralds, but rubies are worth like 10x than emralds.
    Rubies are an upcoming feature

It's not bad but if you plan to record to the ssd you better get one thats bigger than 64gb... also why are you going to record games with camtasia? It is like traveling to a different country on foot, its the hardest way of doing things... just use fraps. Also if you plan to really overclock the [profanity="[profanity="shit"]"] out of the cpu you should go for a better heat sink. Also get a 7970 over the 670.

Are you using the SSD as a boot drive? because I'd just add a third 7200 RPM 500 GB HDD for a recording drive
    Quote from cam51037
Well, first off, I wouldn't record to the SSD. Writing to SSD's kills them, so if you record to it and stuff like that, don't expect it to last longer than a year or two. CPU and cooler look good, great combo. ;) Everything looks good, but I wouldn't record to the SSD as I said above, and be sure to install the OS on the SSD for quick boot times! The 670 and 3570k with the 212 should be awesome for gaming. :)
    Quote from jakus12
Your GPU and CPU should have no problem recording those games, though I recommend either buying another 500GB HDD or record to your 1TB HDD, videos can be huge and that really won't increase your performance that much.

Firstly, I am using the SSD for installing the OS on.

Secondly, Someone here told me that recording to a SSD increases performance. Is it true, or is it just recording to another hard drive?

Finally, I am changing the GPU to the Gigabyte Radeon 7970.Updated Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/au/p/jdzKAlso, If I install the OS on the SSD, is the only difference going to be the boot time? I know its shortened by around 20seconds, But i can wait that if i save $60

Looks good, but I would wait for the experts opinions. Also, when you say you have Win7, where did you get it? Do you actually have a key for it?
Yes, I heard the keys are valid for 3 uses. This will be the second.

Hey everyone, Just wanting to get all your approval for this build.

The build is designed for gaming, and video/picture editing. Here it is.
I know there is no OS, I already have Win7 Home Premium.

The most resource intensive games I know are BF3 and Crysis 2. So what I am wanting to know, is will it play 60FPS+ On Ultra settings, While recording with Camtasia to the SSD?

If there is any flaws, please let me know, and suggest a new part. (It must stay at or under what it is now, although 5-20 extra dollars won't be too much of a big deal)

    Thanks :)
