Well, the difficulty is that you are using a mac, and as far as I know, we only have 1 or 2 regulars in the support section that use a mac.
I don't know mac at all, but as the problem seems to be with your launcher.
Why not try a different launcher.
Like MultiMC. Maybe that will work better for you then the default launcher.
So details would help out. Did you add a new mod(s) right before this started?
Normally the java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1
means that you have a block ID or some other ID outside the range it should be in.
I can see more details on the problem if you post the forge log from in the .minecraft folder, called ForgeModLoader-client-0.log.
Copy the text from that file, paste it here.
There are 2 different versions of infinicraft, unfortunately, the files inside the zip are named the same.
Can you tell me the name of the zip file that you downloaded to install?
Was it: InfiCraft-1.2.5-Client.zip or InfiCraft-1.2.5-Client-PreFML.zip
Sorry hiding in the light it doesn't work for a mac user :/
I didn't think so, but seeing as the title of this thread is 'MInecraft on mac osx is not working. Please help.' I thought I'd ask, since you suggested he use it.
The video drivers that are installed don't support openGL, you need to update your drivers from the amd site. (or the laptop manufacturers site if it's most brands of laptop)
If you need help identifying your graphics card, please post a dxdiag report. And I can help you find the right drivers.
Agh, just saw your card in the opening post.
Try using MultiMC. There have been issues with the default launcher on older cards. It seems the launcher now has higher openGL requirements then the game.
It's because you don't have a wide screen monitor.
While playing in windowed mode, it's in a wide screen view.
To adjust when you go full screen it trims the sides of the view.
You can get the same affect by stretching the window (in windowed mode) vertically.
The only fix would be to get a widescreen monitor. Using a widescreen resolution might put your hand back in the picture more but make things look stretched out.

The multimc install would have pulled in new lwjgl files, so that kinda bring the lwjgl out of the picture.
What's left is your graphics driver and java install.

You can use this error logger, to launch MC after installing the mods.
Post the results back here.

Minecraft only uses a lot of RAM if you let it. It runs just fine with only 512MB given to it. And that's with mods and HD textures.

Use spoiler tags.

You can try running MC using a different launcher, such as MultiMC.
If it doesn't work with multiMC, then please post a dxdiag.
