I downloaded the file and put them in the lib folder. Is there a special way to do it, i just moved through WINRAR and deleted the META-INF files. It still trys to download them and adds a weird argo.jar file. Any help please?
You don't need to do anything with winRar.
Just copy the downloaded files into the .minecraft/lib/ folder.
Absolutely the RAM is a long shot, but if you have tried the first 2 suggestions and still end up with problems, it's something to check out.
I actually had a bad stick of RAM, and only had problems with minecraft (same jvm.dll crash) and firefox. Everything else ran just fine, games, VLC playing 1080p movies, etc.
I would like to get IndustrialCraft 2 v.2_1.111 onto my Minecraft game. I install ModLoader 1.4.7 and tried BOTH Forge 6.6.0.497 and 6.6.0.518. Forge goes and the Mojang screen appears, but then my screen goes blank. My Minecraft works just fine before I put IC2 into my mods folder with Forge and ModLoader. I have tried several ways to remedy this, but have come up with nothing but the same thing. Any suggestions?
But as NobodyCare said. Don't use Modloader and forge together. It WILL cause problems, they won't work together. The game may launch, but it will cause errors and crashes while you are playing.
The .class files in the minecraft directory could be the problem.
There shouldn't be any loose .class files
Warning: class files found within the minecraft directory
They can cause for issues while starting minecraft.
Did you unpack a jar file?
The explorer extension binding can tell that the jar was zip
But it is really not a zip
I suggest backing up your save files, and then deleting the entire .minecraft folder. And starting fresh.
Well first. I'd like to point out that memory is most likely not the issue you are having. I run 50ish mods 128x texture pack, and use less memory then the default (768 Mb max 512 Mb Start), with no lag or performance issues.
When I spam create mystcraft ages then ya, it'll slow down. (I'll generally up the allocated memory to 2G if I know I'm going to create a bunch of ages.)
Well I don't have a cpu with integrated graphics, so I doubt it's that. I tried fullscreen, no success there. Updating to the latest drivers didnt help either...
I might have to add that while it's lagging, windows explorer/youtube/basically most things visual also seem to take a huge toll as well, but this only happens through minecraft... Any ideas? Tried defrag and anti virus. Nada
It may not be the issue for you, but it could be for OP.

*Bump* I really really need help on fixing this problem :/
The Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5-3570K has integrated graphics. It's possible that minecraft/java is trying to use the Intel HD graphics imbedded in the processor rather then using your dedicated card.
There should be an option in the Nvidia control panel to force java/minecraft to use the dedicated card.
Spotlight will not find the folder as it does not look in Libraries. The link in 'Options' screen of Minecraft.app to find minecraft folder doesn't work. Try one of these ways instead.
The complete path to the folder 'minecraft' is <Startvolume>/Users/<You>/Library/Application Support/minecraft
This is often abbreviated as
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Use Finder's 'Go' menu, there's an entry 'Library'. Since Lion you have to press option ('alt', ⌥) for the entry to appear.
Use Finder's 'Go to folder...' command (⇧⌘G) and copy / paste the abbreviation line above.
Snapshot 12w24a enables the 'Open texture pack folder' in 'Texture Packs' screen. Navigate from there to /bin, /saves etc.
Apple chose to hide the user's Library since Lion, to unhide it type in Terminal
chflags nohidden ~/Library To make things worse, the home folder is not in the sidebar by default, you can change this in 'Finder > Preferences > Sidebar > Favorites'. While you're at it, you may wish to add your start volume, too ('Finder > Preferences > Sidebar > Devices > Hard disks').
Note: every 'minus' in front of /Library is in fact a tilde ~ (⌥N) and refers to your home folder, the entry 'Home' (⇧⌘H) in Finder's 'Go' menu takes you there.
There are other Library folders in Mac OS X, at least three (3) in total. If Minecraft works and you don't see a /minecraft in /Application Support, you're definitely looking at one of the two other Libraries. Learn more about Mac OS X's domain system - scroll down a bit to Domains and The Second Level.
For the few of you who did read this paragraph, there's a reward: a simple script (Intel only) that does some basic tasks, like opening the /minecraft folder.
Try to update from the AMD site. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
You have Dell branded drivers, if the ones from the AMD site don't work for you. You'll need to check the dell site for an update. If there isn't newer drivers on the dell site, you may be out of luck.
Unless Sphax has released a SUES v10 compatible pack, the pack needs adjusting. (Or if you found an already adjusted download)
The best instructions I could find are:
Step by step:
1.) Open the texturepack's zip.
2.) Open terrain.png and replace all the water blocks with magenta (R:255 G:000 B:255, #ff00ff) or copy the color from SEUS adjusted's terrain.png.
If you grab the magneta color from gimp, makes sure you make it a bit transparent.
3.) Go to the environment's folder in SEUS adjusted and copy lightmap0.png, lightmap1.png and lightmap-1.png to the environment folder in your texture pack.
4.) If you have animated water in your texturepack, delete custom_water_flowing.png and custom_water_still.png.

It seems like the version of forge you are using, may not be compatible with any optifine versions.
Try updating forge to 518+ and the latest optifine. (1.4.6_HD_U_C3)
Looks like 506-516, may be a grey area for optifine versions.

IC2 1.111 is for minecraft 1.4.5.
You need to use the version of IC2 for 1.4.7 (1.115) http://forum.industr...d&threadID=8831

But to solve your 64 bit java issue, try removing all your java installs 32 and 64.
java link: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Install only the 64 bit version, then run the error logger from here: http://www.minecraft...aft-error-test/
Post the results back in this thread.

You'll have better luck on the technic forums

That will remove the harm that mcpatcher did.
Try using optifine for HD texture support instead. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-147-optifine-hd-c3-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/

Then they are not really gone. Macs have 3 different Library locations, it's likely you are in the wrong library.
