Mac's can be tricky. It seems to save minecraft to multiple locations (I don't know or use mac, but based off things I have read)
From the sounds of things, you haven't deleted minecraft from the correct location.

Unfortunately, me being mac illiterate that is the best help I can offer.
Oh, well I don't think I really need NEI. I got rid of it. I would like to have optifine. Is there any way to make it work? Also, do you know how to change the config to make it work with Computer Craft? I love all three of those mods, and i want them all. By the way, I like your picture.
You've got some pretty bad luck with picking mods to play with pixelmon.
NEI and Computer craft are the only two listed on the pixelmon wiki as incompatible. So, no fix for that one either.
For optifine, you would just need to put optifine into the minecraft.jar after you put forge in.
It doesn't look like PluginsforForestry has updated to the new forestry 2.0 api yet, or you have an old version.
Check for an update, or remove until updated.
Well, officially, Windows 8 can now no longer run Forge, and I use Windows 8. Problem. I tried using technic launcher and running Voltz, but it crashed. Except, it didn't crash immediately after log in, it happened when I started a world/joined a server.
There is nothing official about that statement.
This forum and the forge forum would be flooded with problems with forge on windows 8 if that were true, yet you are the only one making that claim.
Post your new error log and let us take a look at why it crashed.
Ok, just had to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Kinda hard to fully upgrade the engine when you can't make the components. I guess I'll use a regular board and 2 bronze tubes for now. The engine only runs the Carpenter and a Thermionic Fabricator so it isn't needed regularly.

It's the AMD BETA 14.1 video drivers.
Remove them and go back to the 13.12 drivers

Roll back to 13.12.

Makes me wonder what else was changed in it. Use CCC from the official source: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/909223-145146-smp-chickenbones-mods/

You either need to play in a window. (Not full screen)
Or buy a wide screen monitor.

Did you already add a mod to the mods folder?
If so delete it and redownload.

They work for me, using forestry 2.0.0.11

If you need easier mod installation use MultiMC
If you need HD texture support use Optifine.
If you want both use both.

It will install minecraft into a different location.
Otherwise you the 'force update' in the launcher options menu.

Don't use Mcpatcher with forge. Mcpatcher doesn't install forge properly.
If you need something to make mod installation easier, try MultiMC
If you need HD texture support use Optifine
