So I found a slime chunk, and I made a nice farm that breaks them down to their smallest size and brings them up towards me at my residence.
It works and I've witnessed it. I've followed them up the ladder with no interaction whatsoever, so the transportation is not a problem.
But here is my question. I feel as though I am a bit too far for them to spawn when I am up in my housey house.
My question is:
If the spawner pad is at y = 12.6, will they spawn and go through the system when I am standing directly above the farm at y = 70? Am I too far?

Don't join. First, I spent the whole day making an Inn, for the server to rollback it all. THEN I try and rebuild it, but then the Owner cusses at me and says not to. I say he's being mean, he calls me a *****, I suck at building, then bans me.

Hello, Minecrafters! A few friends and I are looking to start up a server. Ace, Barry, and I have come up with an idea that is based off of kingdoms. Upon joining the server, players will join one of four pre-built kingdoms. The kingdoms will be individually themed, although the themes are undecided at the present moment. You will choose a job, such as miner, builder, or lumberjack. If you are, for example, a miner, you will be paid for each block of stone or ore you mine. With money, there are many things you can do. You can purchase land, houses, or buildings inside rethe kingdom’s towns, or you can rank up. You will start off as peasant and can climb up the ladder through ranks such as Commoner, Page, Noble, and Prince, to the ultimate rank of King, a donator only rank where you can create your own kingdom. Within the kingdoms, you can start a town with a band of friends, and hopefully be entered into the kingdom as an official city, where you can expand with shops and arenas, not to mention more people. There will also be town guards that can jail criminals. In jail, criminals will have to mine obsidian and sell them to an admin shop for 1$ each, and when they reach 100$, they will return to the kingdom.
These are all of the ideas we have at the moment. Our goal for the kingdoms is to have AMAZING architecture. We are looking for builders who can build epic-looking medieval styled buildings. If you are chosen and you get along with the admins, there is a chance you will be able to carry over to the released server as a staff member.
