Its not really the pc as much as the specs. To do that you'll want at least 4 gigs of ram and a decent graphics card dedicated would be the best but is not really necessary. That should be enough to handle that laptops with those specs cost about $600.
I think I'm going to stop doing this (But will still follow the thread) Simply because minecraft is loosing it's touch in my opinion (I get bored easier now), and all the new releases of games and such (I'm talking to you Skyrim :tongue.gif:)
I find that i play Minecraft off and on in a cycle like on for 2 months off for a month and i never get board with it this way. And i find it very hard to blanece time between skyrim and minecraft.
Each map is 128x128 pixels in size, and therefore covers a total area of 1024x1024 blocks, or 64x64 chunks. Each pixel of a map corresponds to an 8x8 block area of the world.I would like to be able to make maps that cover 256X256 areas and whose pixels cover a 2X2 area of the map. I've never seen anything like this before and I'm wondering if it would even be possible. If you don't want to make it can at least tell me if its possible?

2. Can you make the map item show a larger or smaller area?
I'm working on a custom map and i need these two things to be in it and I'm just wondering if they're possible.
