((Kind of lacking an idea of what to post, but I don't want to be afflicted.))

Godric only just now noticed that in the time he had spent unconscious, the guards had bound him again. The arm bindings were a tad bit loose, though, and he used this to his advantage. He slipped out of the arm bindings with a good deal of effort, and then used his free hands to undo the rest of his bindings.

((This is really kind of filler for now until I find something good to post. That, and now Godric is out of the bindings.))

Godric awoke, startled out of his slumber, to hear what sounded like the entire palace crashing to the ground. The ceiling to the hall had been destroyed, and the bars to their cell were broken apart in what seemed like moments. He'd call this miraculous, but he knew that a force this powerful had to belong to something, and it only took further observation to notice the massive dragon down the hall, swatting away guards like a man would swat away a fly. Despite the terror running through his mind, Godric could only thank the heavens for sending down such furious wrath on the cesspool of corruption this palace stood in. If only it hadn't been right in their way.

He could tell his party was discussing how to handle this dragon. "I think hiding is useless by this point." Godric stated, noting how the dragon appeared to have already noticed them. "We need to run."

Godric could hear the guards approaching, and it seemed they caused enough chaos that the guards were going to just knock them out now. That puts a dent in their escape plans. He didn't want to just lie down and wait for the end, but there seemed to be little option now. He completely removed the gag and wiped his brow with the disgusting cloth. He offered no resistance as the guards stood him up, and spoke just before he was clubbed into unconsciousness. "I hope you're payed well for your ignorance."

((Thank you, ykcud. I was kinda getting bored of the whole prison scene.))

While I can't think of any reason specifically why sprinting would remove criticals, I'm pretty sure it was a balancing attempt to stop the sprintjump clickspammers of 1.8. Frankly, I agree with the balance. There's no way to tell how the existing changes will affect PvP on a grand scale yet(To my knowledge), but I can't agree with the annoying problems we have at the moment.

I can't give support, but I can say that we should wait until we see how 1.9 will affect PvP/multiplayer before deciding whether reversing things the update changes is a good idea.

Seeing the small flicker of light that would be produced by a small flame, Godric slid the keys back to Garwend. The time to act was now.

((Confirming that action, but I really don't want to take any more drastic action until Yckud's next post.))

"You...have a point there." Godric replied. "We need everything we can get if we're going to get out of here, and we need to do so now." He grabbed the keys and carefully managed to unlock his cell door, but he didn't let it slip from the closed position. "Let's just hope this doesn't backfire..."

"Alyssa, you think you could start the fire now?"

Godric was quite surprised. One of the guards was actually ready to aid in their escape, and Garwend acquired the keys from that guard. They may actually escape the prison after all. But the more he thought about it, the plan to set the palace on fire seemed less and less effective. Especially now that they've got a guard of unknown motive working with them. He may have to rethink things. Unfortunately, he knew the the hour of execution came closer every second they waited.

Godric replied to Garwend simply and quickly. "Acknowledged."

((Yeah, considering how it worked out last time, I'd say trying to burn the bindings back off this time is a bad idea.))

Godric managed to sneak a key-sized object off the guard, but sadly, size was the only thing it had in common with a key. It was more along the lines of a copper toothpick, or maybe a lone part of a lockpicking kit. Not what he needed. Worse, though, he could hear not only the Alyssa got caught with her bindings off and was bound again, but that the shift was changing, and there may be more guards around for a good deal of time. Godric silently panicked, trying to figure out a new plan.

*points to date of the post before yours*

Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure how that happened. It was among the most recently active threads in the suggestions forum when I posted, I can assure you.

Since that explanation was a tad bit off-topic for my tastes, though, I suppose I'll state my interest in imagining how potions like these might affect less PvP-based ventures(Such as adventure maps, mini-games, singleplayer survival, and such). Potato farming would become much more effective after the poisonous potato turns from the failed crop to the material in creating three steak-like items, is one thing I can say with a fair degree of certainty.

There's an easy way to avoid this, called a shelter.

Why would they make a beautiful comet in the game, and make it force players into shelter?

I'll be perfectly honest. I couldn't tell whether the comet always powers up monsters if it appears, or has a chance to power up monsters. However, the idea of the occasional comet or meteor shower lighting up the night sky is something that would add a nice cosmetic change to the game.

Support. At least of the comet and meteor shower, but I don't know about the boosted mobs from the comet.

The potion of nulling sounds wonderful. I really can't say much more than that. Clearing statuses, and can be upgraded into temporary immunity to statuses? I can see tons of use for that.

The potion of hunger/nourishing I'm not so sure about, but I see the use. I don't so much like them, but the only complaint I can think of is that potions of hunger would be useless in singleplayer.

The failed potion is random and pointless. But then again, so is the poison potato.

I'd say support for this one.

posted a message on Add an offline in game wiki for recipes

Admittedly, there isn't much of an excuse for this not to be the case. The one argument I could pose is some players might want to discover the recipes on their own, but the console version already has the recipe list available anyways.

I could support this. Not as a link to the Minecraftwiki, but as a list in-game.

Although, this is really a small suggestion. I'd think it'd fit better in the Small Suggestions topic.

posted a message on New Version

To put it simply, I've been given almost nothing to discuss and judge. But I will say what I can about what we have been given.

For one, Mojang has very little right to herobrine. They have given their own little part to the conspiracy by "Removing Herobrine" each patch, But the creation of herobrine is not their doing. This is entirely a community creation. For them to put Herobrine in the game would be no different than putting a SkyDoesMinecraft mob into the game that mods your game, swears at you, and ruthlessly hunts nearby squids.

For another, what terror would he provide that isn't already experienced? His fear effect was solely due to the fact that what he was supposed to do just doesn't happen in Minecraft, and has no good explanation.(Well, I've also heard part of it to be a "conspiracy" that wasn't even in Minecraft, but rather the forums and Mojang.) If it was actually in Minecraft, the lack of explanation is gone. It'd just be "Oh, it's herobrine."

Lastly, what's the point? Is there anything we'd get for beating Herobrine, or surviving his attacks? Anything for finding or exploring the various things he does to your world? Minecraft is the sort of game where there is almost nothing you can do that doesn't pay off in some way. Farming gives food, mining gives ore, crafting gives items, hunting give materials. Killing the ender dragon nets you tons of EXP, and killing the wither gets you a nether star that you need for a beacon. So what would the point of Herobrine be?

With the information I've been provided, I cannot support this.

((The Minecraft Forums has a spam autofilter that is notoriously oppressive to new posters, especially in the roleplaying forum due to the large walls of text people tend to post there. A common fix is to get 10 or 11 posts in sections other than forum games and roleplaying(Neither of which count towards your post count shown under your avatar). That will stop almost all of the post deletions you've been suffering.))

((Well, a new character, then. This should be interesting.))

Godric inched closer to the bars as he heard footsteps walking towards his cage. A group of five guards passed by his cage. Four of the guards were the same torturous lot, but the fifth one was new. The armor looked decorative, at best, and his physical appearance made it pretty clear that the guy never picked up a weapon in his life.

Course, that wasn't what mattered. As the guards started to pass him, he attempted to grab at the keys on one of the guards. He got hold of nothing, but at least none of them noticed. This is going to be more difficult than he thought. He could overhear just enough of the conversation to get that the fancy guard was not a standard grunt of the prison. Based on their talk of inheriting the prison, the guy must be some noble. He also heard the guard enter Alyssa's cell. Alyssa's a tough woman, but Godric would shatter more than the noble's ego if he brought any harm to her.
