((Sorry for being so absent for so long. It started as having nothing to post, and then everytime I tried to post, something happened and I forgot. I'll try not to let it happen again.

9oz bark and 5oz wood sounds good. Other than that, still lacking any inspiration to post. Sorry.))

((I was already planning to have Godric try his hand at augment crafting if no one else was going to, so I'm sure he won't mind Kaleth using some of the wood.

In terms of perks, I honestly don't have all that many ideas. I just hope the Alchemist gets some good perks.))

"In that case, I'm coming with you." Godric stated almost immediately. He had some wood with him that might make good augments, so going along with Kaleth sounded like a good idea.

((I apologize if it seems I've been posting short posts and not often. Just haven't really been inspired to post much.))

Godric concealed the terror he felt. They had been stopped by the guards just outside of Marshtowers, who were searching for somebody carrying a stone. Obviously, this meant they were being searched for. If that Queen survived the dragon attack, Godric was going to kill her someday. For now though, they had to hope for their lives.

[[I can understand the lacking ideas thing. That's usually why I don't post often.]]

"I can agree with that." Godric agreed with Zenowo. While the idea of journeying through the rain wasn't pleasant, he also didn't want to wait in the cave until the rain stopped.

Godric was sitting by the fire this whole time, watching the events that have transpired. Clearly this stone was important, and it clearly had some relation to the symbols on the wall, but he had no knowledge of it that the rest of the group lacked.

He had just started to lie down and try to get some sleep when he heard a loud noise from outside. He immediately sat up, reached for his panabas, and readied himself for a possible fight. He felt a strong burst of wind enter the cave, causing the fire to flare towards the back for a moment, but nothing actually entered the cave. He waited several moments with no sign of further activity before he saw Kaleth reenter the cave. Godric decided it was probably nothing, and went back to sleeping.

"Alyssa makes a fair point here." Godric stated. "Wine is not at the top of my priorities at the moment. We're in a cave in the middle of a storm, in the middle of the night. While we could spend the whole night having a wonderful chat about wine ingredients, I'd much rather we spend this time doing something practical. Like resting. Or making sure there's nothing else in this cave waiting to kill us."

Godric could only groan as he heard Lancaster. He had this feeling that Lancaster was trying to avoid saying something offensive about dwarves, but besides that, Godric couldn't agree with a word of what the noble spoke. Godric would've said something, definitely offensive about dwarves, but Kaleth presented him some plants.

"Yes, Kaleth, they do have uses. The flowers are brewing thistle, and they are an ingredient in some high-class wines. They sell for quite a bit because of the demand for them. The nut is called a hammer nut, which are, unsurprisingly, popular with dwarves for their unique ability to temporarily boost the consumer's muscle strength."

    ((Could've been worse.))

Godric quickly noticed the dwarf standing in the cave entrance, and readied his panabas. It was quite clear this dwarf was either afflicted or insane, and that it was about to attack the group. As much as some of his companions can be irritating, Godric would not allow this dwarf to harm anyone.

Godric stopped as the group stopped. He took a look at the cave to the side of the path, as well as the...decorations, lining the approach. They needed some shelter from the rain and the darkness, but there's no telling what kind of creature might live there. It could've been recently abandoned, but the risk was just too high.

"I dare not imagine what kind of creature lives in there, but I can't imagine anything good could come from entering that cave." Godric voiced his concern.

((Based on context, I assumed the signs of something inhabiting the cave were signs of an animal or beast.))

"Personally," Godric spoke up, "I believe we should head towards Marshtowers, or some other nearby town. Unless anyone here managed to pick up on any leads for where to head, we need to start somewhere, and where better than a town? In either case, can we please get as far away from this place as possible?"

((Apologies for not posting in a while. Just didn't have much idea of what to post. The usual.))

Godric followed Kaleth, keeping his profile low to avoid detection. He was definitely glad to be out of the prison, but he wouldn't breathe his sigh of relief till they were out of this city. Godric had this feeling that they were nearing the gate of the city, even though he couldn't keep track of where they were headed.

Then Garwend spoke, and what he said had Godric completely confused. He understood what he said perfectly, but couldn't possibly comprehend what that was supposed to mean. "What is that..." Godric began to say before cutting himself off. "You know what, explain this after we leave the city."

"I don't know, Alyssa, I think we can trust him." Godric said. "He's surprisingly well-spoken and courteous, even for his noble heritage, and he's dropping his weapon. If he were going to betray us, he couldn't be any subtler. Besides this, does this guy look like he could take any of us, much less all of us?"

As Kaleth pushed open the door, Godric held his panabas ready. He hoped there were no guards on the other side. His hopes turned to horror, and then hope again when he saw a guard on the other side, who couldn't have possibly missed all six of them, nor missed what both Kaleth and Alyssa had spoken. But not only was it just one guard, it was that snooty noble guard that didn't look able to fight a rat. And Godric remembered overhearing the noble whispering towards Garwend in the prison that he was going to aid them. Course, that was shortly before the noble set himself on fire, so his sanity is in question at the moment.

"Who are you, and whose side are you on?" Godric demanded, his panabas ready to swing at a moment's notice.

I'm not trying to blame you, I'm trying to say what I think.

Am I the only one who thinks we've let this drag on a bit too long?

No, no you're not, Rainbow_Girl. You are certainly not the only one who wants to stop dragging this out.

I decided to stay out of this before. But what point exactly are you trying to make here? You ask for help, and when it's offered, you go into a self-pitying rant and shut out everyone's advice. When they try to provide advice that you asked for on how to improve your roleplay, you refuse to think about it and instead accuse them of insulting you. Then you come back to the people you seemingly think are bullying you, asking to join their thing while at the same time providing(At best) a terrible joke. All of this has been dropped by the other people, perfectly willing to continue their discussion, and brought back up into the light by you. Than you go and ask if you're the only one who thinks it should be dropped. If you're looking for advice, please take the advice you're given, and at least think about it a little before deciding that it won't help you. If you're looking to join the group, please try to be courteous. Jokes are nice and all, but some things just aren't funny, and sometimes you really should be serious. And if you're looking to vent because you feel terrible about yourself, the internet is probably the single worst place to do that. Period. Especially on a public forum.

Also, I am assuming the best, that you really did mean that youtube comments thing as a joke. I know it's possible. I've offended people with what I meant as a joke before, and it's probably not the last time. Just please do remember that jokes really don't translate well in written form.

Godric got up and walked out of his cell. He was pretty sure he saw a bright, lime green light being tucked away by Kaleth, but decided not to pursue that thought, and instead focused on retrieving his items from the chest. He pulled out his cloak and quickly put it on, and then grabbed his panabas from the chest. He was quite relieved to have his weapon and armor back in his possession. And quite relieved that they will finally be out of this disgusting prison soon enough.
