those are some pretty stupid teachers you've got there if they believe you every time.

Or if they don't just ask other teachers to confirm this.

If it's the yellow splashes, I believe there is a Minecraft.jar file called "Splashes.txt" or something like that.

Jesus christ, kids these days won't even put forth a bit of effort to play games in school.

They should be smart enough to know they shouldn't even play at school.

    1. Diamond ORE is not an item.

    2. Since when is an item even a mob?

I agree with the fact that it could be nostalgia, and think it's basically memories. The remember having fun and when they play it again it might not be fun at all but them remember what a good time it was when they were younger and that makes them enjoy it? I hope that wasn't just rambling and that you actually understand that :Pig:

    I agree with that.

Like you said, they are challenging like a game should be, they have some nostalgic value for a kid who grey up playing SNES, SEGA, and sorts. Many of the snes era games are designed much better than most games nowadays IMO anyway.

I still like next gen games a lot though, but I tend to play old games more still to this day. Some new games are brilliant with what technology has allowed though, so they deserve their credit too. ie: Portal, Starcraft, Oblivion, ect.

I agree with this. I have some nostalgia for older games, too. But newer games can do more advanced thing gameplay-wise.

Now, just to clear something up, I don't hate classics. I really do love older games like 2D Mario and such, but why is it that everyone always obsesses over them (Before you post something like "I DON'T OBSESS OVER THEM," by everyone I mean many people.) and decides to hate on all these newer games? And then they suddenly cheer in the air when an indie game developer confirms a retro-style game?

Is it nostalgia? Is it that newer games are less challenging and shorter? If that's the case, I really don't blame them, but seriously now. It's as if people think that games like Meat Boy/Super Meat Boy aren't enough and go back to ranting as soon as they finish them.

Please note, I'm not making fun of/trying to insult anybody who thinks these things. I'm just posting my opinion on this. Please don't be offended, I used to think this way myself.

No. But, I have a solution.

Step 1. Get a white Wii controller.
    Step 2. Paint it orange.
    Step 3. ?????
    Step 4. Profit.

Or just do steps 1 and 2 if you want a serious answer.
