posted a message on Crazy 1.9 Desert Seed

So, I've been looking for a new seed to start a world on. While searching i encountered a seed that starts you in an incredibly large desert. I'm still exploring at this point have have found TONS of generated structures all with loot.

    So far I've found:

4 Villages (3 with blacksmith chest)

    3 Desert Temples

    5 Dungeon Sinkholes

If you don't know what the dungeon sinkholes are, its an accidental feature that occurs when a dungeon spawns near the surface in a desert. The sand falls into the dungeon creating an noticeably square and easily identifiable hole. Obviously since its a dungeon there is a spawner and 1-2 chests in them. Because of the size of the desert they probably will be hard to find though. I will say that 3 of these sinkholes were probably within 200 blocks of the same temple. (temple is at [-340, -1012] and the dungeons at [-234, -1130], [-155, -1103], and [-370, -855]) Another was near the edge of the desert (next to a plains and forest biome) and was in the side of a mountain so its a little harder to spot, i do have the coordinates though: (-907, 194)

Also, keep in mind you'll spawn in a Savannah but you only have to go a few blocks north to reach the desert (unless you have your view distance low you should be able to see it once the world loads). If you follow this border west you will find probably the closest village with 4 diamonds and some iron armor in the chest! It's at (-380, -280)

Keep in mind i've still not explored the whole desert so there still could be more to find. Also, i'm kinda lazy so the rest of the stuff listed I didn't take the time to go back and look for and therefore do not have the coordinates for. There's not much else incredibly remarkable about the seed, I did find a Mesa and obviously lots of Savannah bordering the desert (some of which had some pretty impressive mountains).

    Here's the seed: -8358318659377536954

If you find anything else on the seed, feel free to put it below.

    Have fun!

Edit: Just found another one of the temples (586,266) This one is mostly sunken into the ground, so probably hard to spot from a distance.

posted a message on World Save Glitch.

Not sure if this will help, but I access my minecraft folder by clicking "go" on the top bar with finder open. Then hold down the alt key and library should appear, select it. Then I go to application support where my minecraft folder can be found. I've also had problems with my minecraft folder being hidden and this method worked for me. Good luck! :)

I suggest going to help.mojang.com and find the problem that applies to you. If you can't find help there then I'd contact customer support. Also, I'd edit your post and hide your emails, it's not really necessary to fixing the problem. Don't want get any unwanted emails! ;) Anyways good luck, I hope you get your account back!

posted a message on Unplayable low FPS in certain biomes

Do you have fast graphics on? It seems leaves have a big effect on your performance, fast graphics will make them solid, rather than transparent. If you don't have this on already this should help a lot. Good luck! ;)

posted a message on random minecraft lag spikes?? (urgent!!)

After struggling with lag spikes for a while on a computer that should be able to run Minecraft flawlessly, I noticed that all my allocated memory was being used. While in game, press F3 and look in the top right corner, you should see the percentage of RAM being used. If that is very high, look up a tutorial on how to allocate more memory. If this doesn't help, look at your frame rate, if it starts off low, climbs, then drops off, turn Vsync on, this limits the frame rate to what your monitor can display and keeps them from climbing to high. If Vsync doesn't help, you can try limiting your frames to the point they drop off, or where you feel comfortable. Also, Minecraft's minimum requirements show a 2.6 GHz processor, if you have the money, you might just need to upgrade your computer a bit before thinking about games. Alright, I hope this helps, and good luck guys! :P

posted a message on LAN World Player Transfer

Hello! Today me and my friend were playing an LAN world on version 1.7.10. We are both on mac. He had to leave and proceeded to give me the save file (he had been hosting the world), but when I logged in I had everything in his inventory. I was aware of this problem but have not figured out how to set it so my inventory is the primary one, rather than his. Anyways, help would be much appreciated, have a nice day!
