    Hmmm......Interesting Idea

    Population:
    Main Cave Village: 170

    Projects:
Development of fire holder (furnace): 2/5
    Construction of ore building: 2/4
    Construction of City Hall: 2/4

    Developing body shields (armor): 1/6

    Body Shields

While the shields are helpful in blocking attacks, they don't block all attacks. So Ozarkians have gotten to thinking, why not make a sort of shield that can cover the entire body. They only needed to know the shape in which the body shield should be, as well as the size. A statue was carved out of stone in the shape of the average adult Ozarkian warrior. Now pieces of the body shields were being made in a shape and size that would comfortably fit the average warrior.

    Upgrading Tools
Copper versions of the axes and pickaxes have been made. These upgraded tools will last longer and allow faster and more mining. The upgrades have already payed off, as they have allowed the mining of a new ore. One that had a shiny brownish grey color. This ore is now being mined, collected, and smelted to be used inother items.

You're Stupid and You Should Feel Bad About It
The younger generation has recently stopped being interested in learning about their responsibilities, and elders are demanding that something is done about it. The Chairman has decided to make it required for children to learn about the work they will have to do when they are adults, as well as the Ozarkian history and other major subjects, like language.

    1 + 1 = ...3?
An Ozarkian has come up with the simple concept of adding numbers to make larger numbers. He found this when he found that when one rock is given to someone with one rock, then that Ozarkian will have two rocks.

Wait, Why Can't We Just Float Around?
Two Ozarkians were discussing why they can't freely move around everywhere. They came up with the idea that something was keeping them from jumping and remaining in the air, some "force" that pulled them down. determined to learn more about this force, the Ozarkians began running some tests.

    Spear Axes
While experimenting with different combinations of tools and weapons, Ozarkians have found one particular combination to do a large amount of damage. This weapon had a handle slightly thicker than a spear, and about the same size. On one end of the handle was a spear head along with an axe head. This new weapon proved to have multiple uses, and has begun being tested and developed for further use.

Nom Nom Nom (Interaction with Joe)
The Ozarkian watched as the creature held up two feathers, then two pieces of bread. He figured that the amount of feathers held up corresponded with the amount of items being received through the trade. He noticed the creature point to the bow. The Ozarkians agreed to trade one bow and six arrows for two pieces of bread. But before they actually traded, the Ozarkians wanted to see what else the creatures had to trade. One Ozarkian took a stone slab and carved into it a drawing of the Ozarkians following the creatures, then the creatures showing the Ozarkians what they had to trade.

    Burnt Wood
Ozarkians have found that when a branch of a tree is burnt, it becomes black and extermely hard. This burnt wood seems to last longer than normal wood twigs. They also found that when it is rubbed against something, it will leave marks. They didn't have much use for this at the moment, but could use it for writing later.

    These Animals Seem Friendly
While hunting like every other day, a hunter found some animals to be docile. They didn't seem to mind the hunter being there, and didn't even move when the hunter was right in front of it. Instead of killing the animal, the hunter got some thick fibers and tied one end around its neck. He began leading the animal back to the village, and found other one. He tied more fibers around the second animal's neck, and led them both back to the village. He told the leader of how these animals were friendly, and the leader agreed to make a closed in area for the animals to be. Construction on the pen is to begin immediately. While waiting for the pen the Ozarkians will study the animals to find out if there is any use for them other than food.

    Look! We Have Shiny Objects!

    Population:
    Main Cave Village: 163

    Projects:
Development of knives, swords, and spears: 3/3
    Development of shields: 4/4

Development of fire holder (furnace): 1/5
    Construction of ore building: 1/4
    Construction of City Hall: 1/4

    More Control
Ozarkians have grown tired of having an open flame that they throw the ore onto, then having to sit there and wait. Some Ozarkians have been burned by the flames, others have gotten bored watching the ore, and then some just don't want to deal with it. Therefore, the main leader has decided to create a building that will be used only for dealing with the ore. Construction on the building has now begun. The scientist has also begun trying to development a sort of container to put the ore in. One that could have the inside heated to extremely high temperatures, while not being too hot on the outside. It also couldn't melt from the high temperatures. Development on this fílise gotáh will begin immediately. Selected Ozarkians will be in charge of dealing with these ores. They will be called leetuhétáh.

    Government Changes
The chairman gathered the Ozarkians to the center of the main cave. "Té jutáh, the leader began, Se lét desudá ós wanhé án fegunánla ós don cufágonmen. Du dolí nu jutáh a kitósar un fulírte só hét tudél. De dolí fé Don Kéloptu. The chairman held out the ston slab with the list od government officials.

    Quote from Stone Slab »

    Coásü suun Créáclatí Deotu

Don Wicunja: overseer of the tribe. No descisions are made by other leaders without his approval.

Don Jünfavá: overseer of weapons. He shall deal with the manufacturing of weapons, as well as advancing technology and developing new weapons.

Don Ooglalacírandégás: overseer of tools, as well as food and water supply. He shall make sure that there is enough supplies to keep everyone alive, if not more. He shall also deal with advancing technology and developing new tools.

Don Siguatensó: overseer of all technology and advances. He shall deal with advancing all technology.

Don Dibloomaci: overseer of all issues regarding other species.

Don Kéloptu: overseer of all trading that is done involving the Ozarkians.

Se jutáh asléh desudá ós hugál cesélístu ín a nu budóléh pót dolí fé hudás don kitósar julák gudansé.

    Combinations
An Ozarkian accidentally left a piece of copper on the fire when they threw on a piece of tin. The combined metal was significantly stronger than the two metals alone. There is nothing to use this metal for at the moment, but once the new weapons are developed, it will be used to improve the weapons.

Goods for Trading (Interaction with Joe)
When the Ozarkians got back to the village with the creatures, they brought them to the storage building to show them what they had to trade. Off in one corner was some tables and chairs, as well as a cart. On the other side was where the animal hides were put. The Ozarkians held up a few items; copper and tin ore, coal, a stone pickaxe, torches, a bow and arrow, wood planks, and fibers of many sizes. They then held up a stone slab and showed the creatures them carving in the words, to show that it is used for writing. They showed them the mud mixture, putting it on one of them, to show them that it will cool them down. They then put the mixture on the walls to showed where it is normally placed. Now that they showed the creatures what they had to offer, it was time to find out what the creatures had to offer.

    Writing
Ozarkians were trying to find a use for the coal. They tried everything (except as fuel)! Finally, one stood up. Dus hedác ós tuglós! The Ozarkian threw the coal at the ground, only to find that it made a mark.

    The Most Useful Material Ever

Ozarkians have come across a plant to the north of the cave village. This plant, when gone through a certain process of stripping, placing, overlapping, hammering, and drying, becomes a sort of sheet that can be written on. The plant can also be used for other building materials. Ozarkians have begun using this plant to make something to write on, as well as for making boats. They've also found that the material is comfortable to sleep on, so it's being used in creating a sort a platform to sleep on inside. The plant will now also be grown in farms.

    Charcoal
Ozarkians have found that burning pieces of trees such as branches causes the material to become black and extremely hard. This new material is useful for burning other things, as it lasts for a long time. It can also be used to make marks, and will be used to write on the sheets made by the plants.

    Trading with Other Species

    Population:
    Main Cave Village: 155

    Projects:
    Developing carts: 3/3
    Smelting ore: 3/3

Development of knives, swords, and spears: 1/3
    Development of shields: 1/4

    New Weapons

Now that the ore has been smelted, it has begun being used to make the weapons.

    Something Useful
Once upon a time, two Ozarkians got in a fight. No one knew how the fight began, but what they do know, is how it ended. Out of pure instinct, one Ozarkian grabbed a piece of wood and held it in front of them. They found that this piece of wood was very effective for blocking attacks. The two Ozarkians went to tell the main leader about this. The leader thought that this was a good use for the ore that had been smelted. Development had begun immediately.

    Return
The Ozarkians scouts finally returned to the village. They had searched around the surrounding areas for a long time. They saw two different types of creatures that seem to be sentient fighting far to the south-east, but suggest that the Ozarkians don't intervene. The other Ozarkians are happy for the scouts to finally be back.

    More Ore
While mining, Ozarkians had begun to find other types of ores. One of the new ores had a shiny black color. The other new ore had a shiny grey color. They brought the newly discovered ores back to the village, and then began to smelt the ore.

    Interesting Drawings (Interaction with Joe)
The Ozarkians looked at the drawings in the ground. The drawings seemed to be the creatures trading with them. The Ozarkians exchanged a few words with eachother. The Ozarkian closest to the creatures turned to them and nodded his head. The Ozarkians then gestured with their hands for the creatures to follow them, so that they could find what the creatures wanted to trade. They also wanted to learn about these strange sentient beings. The Ozarkians wished to learn their language, as it obviously wasn't their own.

    Improving Buildings
Ozarkians have found that they can smelt the stone and that they can compress the stone to form a sort of brick. These bricks can be used in the buildings to improve them, as well as to make a building without it being dug into the side of the wall. Now that the Woodland tribe has perfected their mud mixture, the Cave-Dwelling Ozarkians have begun using the mixture as a insulator. They've found that the mixture can also be used to hold the bricks together.

    Success!

After testing the mud mixture, Ozarkians found that it did prove to be a good insulator. The mixture is now going to be put on the walls of the buildings, as well as be traded to the Cave-Dwelling tribe.

    Glass
The Ozarkians showed the glass to the main leader. He decided that this would be useful for being able to see through of the buildings. It would also be useful for allowing more light into the buildings.

    Interesting Writing (Interaction with Kinkaz)
The Ozarkians watched the strange creatures as they wrote and drew on the trees. A few Ozarkians were unhappy that the creatures were damaging the wood that they needed, but thought nothing of it.

    Seeing New Faces

    Population:
    Main Cave Village: 133
    Travelling Scouts: 15

    Projects:
Development of bows and arrows: 3/3
Searching for survivors in collapsed homes: 3/3
    Developing carts: 1/3
    Smelting ore: 1/3

Finding Bodies After searching for some time, survivors have been found, as well as some dead. Five people were found dead, and four were found alive. Now Ozarkians have begun repairing their homes, this time using the upit.

Wheels The Ozarkian who made the tables and chairs wanted a way a the move the tables and chairs easily without having to move the rollers from the back to the front frequently. He remembered how one of his chairs had a hole through the center of it, and thought that he could attach the wheels to something that would hold the tables and the chairs. He took a fairly hollowed out large rock and dug holes out of the sides of it. He then stuck two long pieces of wood through the holes and through more cylindrical rocks. He found that this was useful in carrying objects, as well as in rolling without having to reset any rollers.

Being Noticed The Ozarkians noticed these strange creatures, and heard them yelling something that they could not understand. A few Ozarkians approached these creatures, they seemed to be sentient. They carved in the ground their word for "hello". Kídun, it said. they then waved at the creatures, hoping that they would understand.

Colorful Rocks After studying the colorful rocks for a long period of time, a certain group of Ozarkians, now to be called the hufálés, have found that if these colorful rocks are superheated, they can be molded in useful ways. Research is still being made on what these colorful rocks can be used for, but they have started smelting the large amount that they have. They have also decided to now call these colorful rocks ilatís.

Improving Weapons Some Ozarkians have found ways to sharpen stones that they have, by grinding it against a stronger stone. They have experimented to find ways in which this would be useful. They found three ways: as a average sized sharp stone connected to the end of a short stick, to be called a hijíté, as a short, sharp stone connected to a long stick, to be called a hilétar, and as a short, sharp stone connected to a short stick, to be called a mígáju. A few of these new weapons have been made just to be able to demonstrate what the weapons can do, but mass development will wait until the colorful rocks, now called ilatís, are able to be used.

Trading with the Woodland Tribe Ozarkians have begun trading with the Woodland tribe. They are mainly trading their tables and chairs for edible plants. Pickaxes are also being traded to axes. Ideas are also being discussed with one another, and Ozarkians from both tribes have started working together on projects.

Using Animal Hides After trying to find a use for the hides of the animals killed, some Ozarkians have discovered that they can be used for clothing and to keep warm. The hides can also be used purely for decoration, though they have decided that at the moment it would not be wise to use the hides for that reason.

    Development of trading: 4/4

The Final Ingredient Ozarkians have found a type of fiber hanging from the branches of certain trees, and have found that when the fibers are stripped of the layer surrounding it, they are extremely hard to break. They added them to the mud mixture they previously had, and this proved to work well in holding the platforms in place. It also seemed to be a good insulator. They have successfully secured the platforms, and are now putting the mixture on the walls of some of the buildings, to make sure that it works.

Connecting the Buildings Now that the platforms have been made, Ozarkians have come across the problem of getting from one building to the next. They have grown tired of having to climb, and it has proved to be a difficult task when they are carrying objects. Construction has begun on making some sort of tokáléh to connect the buildings. They are using wood planks as the actual walkway, and they will use fibers to tie the planks together and to tie the ends to the platforms. The bridge itself will simply hang. The Ocean Ozarkians have come across a shore after exploring southwest for some time. They have a new material, one that is not a good building material. It seems to be made up of millions of tiny grains. While trying to find a use for this material, they decided to see if it was useful for making fire. They made a fire the normal way they wood, and set the fire on the material, but they didn't add extra pieces of wood to see if the material could hold the flame. The results weren't as expected. The material did not hold the flame, but instead melted. The melted material was transparent, though there was a weird affect on whatever was on the other side. It was decided that this was because the melted material was not smooth. The Ozarkians decided to call the material itself haséd, and the material when melted glísus.
Some of the Ozarkians took as much as they could carry back to the village to show the others. Others stayed and thought of what they could do with the body of water they discovered. One Ozarkian noticed something floating in the water. It was a tree trunk, or well, half of a tree trunk (semicirle cylinder) only it was hollow. The trunk was able to float in the water, instead of sinking. The trunk floated towards the shore, and the Ozarkian decided to test whether the trunk would support his weight. He stepped in it, and the Ozarkian pushed him away from the shore. The Ozarkian floated in the bucá. He got out of the body of water and took the hollow half-trunk with him back to the village to show everyone else. The other Ozarkian helped, and as they walked back, they discussed a way to leave their bucás at the shore. A place that would be the designated location for the bucás to be. This place would be called a kídéh. Construction would begin immediately.

    Safety Measures
Five Ozarkian homes have collapsed while they were digging out a wall or the ceiling. Rescue attempts have begun, and for now the nine Ozarkians in the collapsed homes are presumed to be dead. One Ozarkian home collapsed but they survived. The Ozarkian had tall pieces of wood in their home up against the walls in places around their home. When their home collapsed, the pieces of wood held up the majority of the home, especially in areas where there was a cluster of pieces. Ozarkians have found that when pieces of wood are put up to reach from the floor to the ceiling and are placed in certain locations around the home, they act as upit, holding up the home and keeping the majority of it from collapsing.

    Arriving at the Other Tribe
Don Dibloomaci arrived at the village belonging to the other tribe. They had to do a bit of climbing to get to the buildings, which was not a problem for them. They sat down in one building with the Wicunja of the tribe and began discussing.

    Tables and Chairs
Most Ozarkians already rather sit on a rock or a piece of wood instead of on the ground, but one Ozarkian has actually created a stool to sit on, by grinding down stone so that it has a flat bottom and a flat top. The rock is fairly cylindrical, and has also been grinded down to a smooth surface. There are a variety of sizes that were made this way, and there's one rock that the creator will hold onto, for it has a hole in it that was made by running water. The Ozarkian has also made larger rocks to place food on, so that they will still be near the eater and so that the eater won't have to bend over to reach the food. He has also found that an efficient way to move the rocks is to flip them onto their sides and push them, causing them to roll. The larger rocks can be put on the smaller rocks. The rolling smaller rocks will then carry the larger rocks.

    Interacting with the Cave Tribe
Food was brought into the room for the Ozarkians of both tribes to eat while they discuss matters. "I'm eager to learn the traditions of another tribe of our species," the woodland Wicunja said. "As am I. Though I don't think that our traditions are too different. In fact, I don't think that there are many differences between the two tribes at all. The only difference seems to be that your tribe lives in the forest in the trees, while our tribe lives in the mountains."
"Well there has to be some differences."
"Tell me, have you created an ab yet? Or a co to know who is in charge of what?"
"Neither, I'm afraid," the woodland Wicunja stopped to eat. "We haven't had much time to be able to develop this ab you speak of. Nor have we created a co. What is an ab and a co anyway?"
"Well, that's one way that we are different. An ab is a list of symbols. These symbols are visual representations of what we say. A co is a group of leaders that each control a certain section."
"Oh," the Woodland Wicunja seemed suprised, "Well, we haven't had any need for a co yet, but this ab seems like an interesting idea. Is there any way that we could use this ab of yours?"
"I suppose so," the Wicunja of the cave tribe said with a thoughtful look. "But what can you do for us in return?"
"Well, we could provide you with wood and fibers. Would that suffice?"
"I believe it will. Though, I would like to create a more organized form of this... kjang. The items that would be kjud will be decided among those who are kjang the items. Common items can be kjud for other common items. Rare items can be kjud for other rare items, or many common items. This way, the kjang will be fair."
"Good idea. We will begin with the development of this system at once. We will inform you on updates whenever we can." With that, the Ozarkians from the cave tribe went back to their village.

    A Way to Enter
Ozarkians have sometimes gotten lost trying to find their home. They have become confused since the homes are all in random places, with no way to tell which way leads to which home. Since there was talk of kjang, It was decided that a building where the kjus were going to take place would be constructed. They decided that this building would be built at the front of the village, and would act as an entrance. Construction on the building has become. Others has also thought of the idea of an easier way to enter the village. They have decided for now to use fibers that can be climbed to enter the village. They tied the fibers together to make them stronger, then tied large knots in the fibers, so that it would be easy to hold on to the fibers.

    Falling is Bad
It is a bad sight, seeing a drowsy Ozarkian get up and walk outside to get some food and sunlight, only to find there to be nothing to stand on, falling to the ground and being severely injured from the fall. Grown tired of this happening, construction has begun on a sort of platform for the Ozarkians to walk on. Or well, it would have, but first a set up has to be developed so that the flat pieces of wood won't just fall to the ground. Ozarkians have found that mud can be used to hold the pieces of wood to the home and surrounding branchs, but the mud alone isn't strong enough to hold it together. Attempts have been made to use the mud with fibers, but it is not enough.

    Councel of Leaders
The leader of the Ozarkin tribe in the mountains gathered everyone to the center of the main cave. "My people," he said, "I have decided on the sections of the coásü, and on who will be in charge of each section. The sections are as followed," he pulled out a flat stone that had strange symbols carved into it. "Oh, I also had the idea of having this," he held up the stone, "something to ƒáüñó. A flat stone with carvings in it of what you say. I have also taken the privilege of creating sugánés that will be what is actually written down. Each sugáné will represent a sound that we would normally speak. Everyone will be taught this abécó. But that will come later. The sections of the coásü are as followed:"

    Ores
While clearing caves Ozarkians have begun finding risás that don't look the same as the others. Not knowing what these cohazican risás were used for, they collected as much as they could, then brought it to the main cave. The Scientist looked at these risás, but couldn't think of any use of them. For now they were put in storage, and once a use for them is found, they will be used.

    More Types of Weapons
Many scouts have grown tired of having to carry a large sword with them everywhere. They wanted to have a smaller weapon that they could hold in one hand. A mini sword of some sort. They have also found that it has been increasingly more difficult to hunt with only a melee weapon. Some scouts have brought this to the Jünfavá, telling him how only having a melee weapon isn't good for hunting. "A melee weapon should only be used for the final blow. We need a weapon that would allow us to attack from far away."
At the time, another Ozarkian has found that the fiber, when taught, was very...springy.... He called this a bílok. The Ozarkian then took a stick, smoothed the sides, then stuck on it a sharp rock, trying to have the rock as symmetrical as possible. He called this an aru. He put the aru against the stick and the fiber, pulled the fiber backed while holding onto the aru, then let go of everything once he went as far back as he could. The Ozarkian found that the aru could be shot very far and concluded that it would be able to allow kills from a distance. He brought this to the Jünfavá just as the scouts were talking to the Jünfavá. "Well, this is quite the coincidence. Let me see that weapon of yours." The Ozarkian handed him the weapon, and after seeing how it worked, the Jünfavá handed it to the scouts. "Would this work?" A scout took the weapon and looked at the bílok, then at the aru. The scout put the aru against the fiber and the stick. He stretched the fiber, seeing how far they could stretch. When he let go, he saw that there was a trememndous amount of force, and the arrow flew to the other side of the room, hitting a piece of wood against the wall, and embedding itself deep in the wood. "This seems perfect," the scout said to the Jünfavá. "But we would need more of these bíloks, and many more of these arus. "
"Very well, then development of these two items will begin immediately, as well as on a weapon that is similar to a sword, but much smaller."

    Reaching the Other Species
The scouts finally arrived at where the other species was rumored to be located. After setting up camp near the settlement, they went to greet this new species.

    More Tribes
After telling the Chairman of the other tribe, he discussed the matter with the Diplomat. "As you might have heard, we have found another tribe of Ozarkians. We plan on sending you there to negotiate with them."
"That seems fine, I'd be happy to meet our new friends."
"Good, well, you should be on your way. A group of hunters have been gathered to escort you there safely. I will remain here, and deal with matters in the tribe." Don Dibloomaci left with the soldiers to travel to the other tribe.

The Ozarkian went to the leader to inform him of his interaction with another tribe. "They send that they would discuss the matter with their leader?"
"Yes, and they were going to send others to here." At that time, scouts had approached the leader. "Leader," one of the scouts began, "we have seen Ozarkians traveling to our village. They should be here in a matter of a few days."
"Prepare for their arrival," the leader spoke, "so that we may speak with them under better living conditions."

We Are not the Only Ones
While travelling down the mountain to collect food, a few Ozarkians have seen other creatures that seem to look like...them. They hurried down the mountain to talk to the others, and when they reached them, they saw that the creatures were in fact of their species. "Hello, fellow Ozarkian! Please tell us, where have you come from?"
"I came over from farther into the forest, over there." The Ozarkian pointed southwest. "My tribe lives in the forest. We tend to try to stick to staying in the trees instead of on the ground. But, of course, we have to come down for resources. If you walk over in the direction of my village from here, you will make it in 3 to 4 rises of the sun and the moon. Make sure to look up, otherwise you will not see the village. There are small structures build in, on, and around the trees. They are made out of wood, as their is plenty around us, though we take as little as we need. We do not wish to harm the home we live in, just reshape it in a way fitting for everyone."
"Well then," the Ozarkians from the mountain were amazed at the fact that their tribe was not the only one. "We will tell the leader immediately. He will be sure to like the fact that there is another tribe of Ozarkians."

    Weilding Portable Light
One Ozarkian that was extremely interested in fire and how it worked saw that the small fibers and sticks were needed in order to have the fire start. He then saw that the fire would go out soon after if large pieces of wood weren't added to the pile. The Ozarkian has always had the idea in his mind, the same idea that the tribe originally had. He had the idea of having a portable light source. He took a few average sized sticks and tied them together, with small sticks through the middle to keep the average sticks split apart towards the top. He then stuffed small fibers and sticks in the open part of the tied sticks. He put some more small sticks through the middle and tied those to the first set of small sticks to keep the fibers and such in the center. He hit to stones together until a spark set the fibers aflame. He found that the fire stayed where the fibers were, and the average sticks were able to be held. The fire, the light source, was, in fact, portable. He had created a portable light source. He went to the leader to tell him. "Wonderful! Now we will be able to travel farther through the caves, able to explore more. How long does this flame last?"
"Well, it hasn't gone out yet, so there's that," the Ozarkian began, "I think that it will last a decent amount of time. It won't last an increbile amount of time, though. This will allow us to explore farther into caves, but we will still not be able to explore for a long amount of time."
"Well, that's unfortunate," the Leader lost some of his smile, "but at least we now have this portable light source."

Seems That Fire can be Helpful in More Ways Than a Light Source
After coming back to the cave, one Ozarkian went to eat the food that they had. When they bit into it, however, it was cold and didn't taste good. They needed some way to heat up the meat. Then the Ozarkian remembered the fire, and how it was hot. He lit a fire and put the food directly on top of it. After some time they took the food off of the fire, and found that it was indeed very hot. Too hot, in fact, to touch. The Ozarkian jumped up, and the food flew from their hands, landing on a flat rock that was lying on the ground. The hungry Ozarkian picked up the rock, despite what had just happened, and found that the rock wasn't hot. They looked at the food and found that there were ashes and bits of wood on it. They wiped off the ashes and wood, and took a bite. The food was a bit hot, and still had some ashes on it, but it certainly tasted better than before. The Ozarkian put another piece of meat over the fire, this time while on the plate. After some time, they went to pick up the plate but found that it had now become too hot to touch. They took two more flat rocks, then used one to move the food onto the other. It worked, and now when he bit into his food he found that there were no more ashes. The Ozarkian had been successful at cooking, so he began to tell the others......

    Having More Than One Leader
The Leader called the Ozarkians to the center of the main cave, saying only that it was important. "My people," he said to them all, "I fear that it has become difficult to keep the tribe in check alone. We are nothing, no matter how powerful, no matter how technological, without order. I know if I try to keep the order alone, then there will be conflict. Therefore, I have decided that we will have multiple leaders, controlling multiple parts of the tribe. Together, we shall look over you all to make sure all is right. We shall have a leader in control of research, a leader in control of weapons, a leader in control of foreign affairs. I of course will continue to be the main leader of the tribe, so decisions are not to be made by the other leaders without my consent. That is all for now, I will inform you all if anything new comes up."

    Clearing Land
The Leader has noticed that lately there has been significantly less food than usual. He also remembered seeing some types of plants and trees able to sustain life.
    Quote from Memory »
After a long time certain trees would grow apples, and the seeds could be used to grow the trees. There were also some plants that seemed to grow from the ground. At first they had thought that these plants were either inedible or just the same as the other plants around them, edible, but not a sustaining food. However, after seeing many forest dwelling creatures eating the plants and living off of them, they decided to eat them. They found that the plants tasted good, as well as sustained them. They saw that these plants grew much like the trees did.

After some careful thinking, the Leader concluded that the tribe could live off of these plants. However, it wouldn't be convenient to go to where the plants and trees grow to gather the food, as it is far away. Therefore, he decided that they could just bring the plants and trees to them. He gathered a group of Foresters and had them begin cutting down a large amount of trees that were where the farm was going to be. He also gathered some other members of the tribe to collect seeds, as well as the actually edible parts of the plants and trees.

    Sightings
While roaming around the mountain, some Ozarkians have spotting strange things in the areas around the mountain. They went to the leader to tell him of it. "What is it that you saw?" the leader first needed to know what these sightings were of. "Well," one the the Ozarkians started, "they look like creatures, but they don't seem to behave as the ones we kill do. They appear to be able to think freely. They appear to be....sentient."
"Wait, so you mean to say that we aren't the only beings on this planet that can have differences in each indivual. We aren't the only ones that can ceate tools and think for ourselves? We aren't the only ones that can develop of civilization?" The leader took a moment to take in what has just been said to him. "Well, that's great! We're not alone! I will gather a group of 15 scouts, and once they're ready, they will travel to these beings to verify that they are, in fact, like us. Well, if that is all you have to say, then you may leave." After the Ozarkians left, the leader gathered a group of 15 scouts and sent them to where the most creatures were said to be, on a plain northwest of the mountain. The scouts left immediately.

    Better Tools
Ozarkians have tried to used the rocks as weapons, but it has proved difficult. They have tied sharp stones of many shapes and sizes to sticks that they have, but it is hard to keep the stones tied to the sticks. They have a long, sharp rock on a small stick, a fairly spherical rock on a regular club-sized stick, and even a small, sharp rock on a long stick. Though they have been able to tie the rocks to the sticks, the rocks don't stay there very long, especially when being being used as a weapon. They have decided not to use the weapons for now, but instead they will try to improve the weapons. Research is now being made to improve the new tools.

    Living Conditions are Unexceptable
Ozarkians have brought the problem of lving conditions to the leader. After thinking, he has called the others to the main cave. "I know that you are angry about the current living conditions," he began, "but at the moment there is nothing that I can do. Once the improvements are made, we will be able to create better homes. Please be patient, all we can do is wait."

I was busy in a cave near bedrock level. Found about 3 and a half stacks of coal, 3 stacks of iron, 2 stacks of redstone, half a stack of gold, and 27 diamonds. I had more stone, gravel, and dirt than I knew what to do with. I had diamond tools and enough obsidian to make 4 portals. I walk through a small hole 2 blocks high and 5 blocks wide. I reach the end of it and there is a one block high, 3 blocks wide hole in front of me. I look both ways, all clear. Mine out the top and hop up, ready to get out of this cave (if I could ever find my way). I turn to my left, there's a pool of lava. I turn to my right, there's 4 creepers, 2 spiders, a skeleton and a zombie. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!

posted a message on Need some build ideas.
I've had an idea for a build but have never been able to actually build it (my computer sucks), and would like to see it finished. It was going to be first a crater, about 1000, maybe 2000, blocks in diameter. That crater would then be filled with water, and as you get to the center the water starts curving upward to a water spire in the center (easily done by making water go into the crater from outside, and from taking a bit of time making it in the center. You could just put solid blocks in the center and around into a curve, then put water but you would have to put source blocks everywhere so is stays when you get rid of the blocks (if you so choose). Finally, At the top of the spire of water, there would be a huge castle. If you want, there could even be a platform surrounding the castle. I know that this is pretty much just telling you what to put and where to put it, but by all means build it in any way you see fit. I've just wanted to build this and see it complete for a while.

Does anyone have a seed that is literally just a single island with small mountains around one GIANT mountain on the island? I've been trying to find one but can't. They all have a regular mainland. NOTE: I'm fine with there being other small islands, but I mainly just want one large main island with small mountains and a giant mountain that would scare you just looking at it from its height. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO LOOK OVER THE WORLD AND KNOW THAT I AM ABOVE IT!!!
