Thank you VERY much for all of this - I really appreciate it when players go above and beyond and help a lot like this. I appreciate all posts, but this helps a bunch. Thanks again!

No problem, I always like to help because I know every bit will improve the map and any future maps that I'll porbably play, so it's a Win-Win situation :D

    1. The map must be converted into Anvil before playing. You should probably fix that for the next update :) Can you explain this more? When I opened the map, it had to change the format to Anvil. I don't really know how to explain it, but if you download the map and open it, it should happen to you.
    2. The drops hurt me... You might want to make the water at the bottom of the drops two deep. Unless you want to hurt the player > :) I do > :) that was my intention...you have to be in a boat. I feel dumb now... :P
    3. Personally, I think there should be a chest to save your stuff before having to jump over lava in the first level. Hmmmm, there is if you can find it. The portal isn't supposed to be there, that was an accident. Oh, so that was where I should have saved my stuff. Figures.
    4. Also, there is a four block jump that I think is impossible in said level, at least, I couldn't do it. Could you check that? 4 blocks is the maximum you can jump with sprint. Its possible. Hard though! Then that was just my terrible parkour skill showing through :)
    5. Still about level one, there are infinite portal blocks in the hidden chest. Are they supposed to be there? This might not be a problem. Accidental placement :P
    6. There is a place in the maze where dirt is visible after breaking clay (I notice it in episode 2 [to be uploaded next Thursday] so you can see where there.) Damnit! nooooo!!! My bad, I first noticed it in the first episode at around 14:00. to find it :D
    7. Maybe add a hint about the maze? I spent WAY too long in there. But maybe that's just my fault. :P Well that was my intention! Guess that's what mazes are for :)
    8. Update the signs. Many of them are still from the older version. Elaborate please? Before Puzzle 7 there is a sign saying "You made it to the final puzzle!" or something like that even though you've added two puzzles. There might have been more that I've forgotten but if you watch my playthrough you'll see them. Or maybe just go through your own map :D
    9. The Cake Level is WAY too lag inducing, and didn't work for me - there were quite a few things, it's all in episode 4 so once I upload it I'll update you. [It'll be uploaded in three weeks] All right :P I'll take a look at it and may revise it. Thanks.
    10. I have a feeling some of the switches on the Minecart puzzle were the wrong way because I only needed to switch one. Yes they were x.x
    11. And that's it! :D Besides all that, even with some of that, I really did enjoy the map and had a lot of fun. Thanks for making this! :D Thank you for playing!

Ok, so I've got a basic plan of the first few (maybe 10?) episodes just to post up here and see if you like where I'm going before I go farther :)

And Graham, feel free to change this a bit to make it better - we need to work together to make it as good as possible :)

    Gondor, early winter.
Trading caravans have been going missing without a trace.
A few soldiers and detectives have gone missing after following and the Minas Tirith Secret Police is going crazy trying to find the cause.
Spys sent to Rohan's capital Edoras have noticed unrest and the King has ordered their return to Minas Tirith for some reason.
Arkadius, a human, and Terri-Escanlonia (Terri), a hobbit, are partners in the secret police who have been sent to Mordor to research a case of unrest in the Orc population and a possible rebellion against the current King of Mordor.
They travel there and find many seemingly hastily built houses, quite Orc looking, but all empty. Fearing that they had passed by an army heading for a nearby town, they turn back, but find no signs of any unrest all the way back to Minas Tirith. But back at Gondor, they find war preparations being made and find that the king seems to have gone mad. The secret police have been disbanded and the army will be heading for Edoras any day now.
While at Minas Tirith, they are contacted mysteriously (idk how yet) by someone telling them to go to Edoras and warn them so that the seige is not completely unfair.
They leave for Edoras (still not completely understanding why the King is attacking Rohan) and find it deserted as well.
Only a few houses have marks of violence, but overall, it seems most people left of free will. Maybe they were pre-warned?
They go to the castle and find the Gondor army to be approaching. The two of them are not supposed to be there (obviously) and are trapped. The two decide to try to hide as long as possible, then seem like they went in with the rest of the army, but are (again) contacted mysteriously and are shown a secret passage out. They emerge to the west of Edoras, on the side of a mountain.

And that's about it. I really don't know my own backstory here, but I would be able to figure it out if you like this. I bet you (Graham) have already got your own ideas for a story continueing off of here, but tell me if you like it everyone!

(I'm sorry for any mistakes, I'm posting off of my laptop and it is VERY slow as Toshiba's tend to be)

Did you miss my last post? If so:

    K, so now I have a few questions :)
First of all, is this set in Middle Earth? Or do I have to create a new world (which is absolutely no problem)?
Who are the characters? Hopefully their not created or set yet, but along with that, how many actors do I have at my disposal :) ? Obviously you can hire more, but I want to know how many people I have on hand.
Lastly, do you have any outline you want me to keep? Or am I free to write whatever (as long as it's Lord of the Rings-y)?

About the music, I'll wait until I have the script/story done until I start writing music, because I don't want to create a song that won't be used ;)
I've also got some original songs that I have yet to computerize and make as well as put on YouTube, but a few are planned for a game my friends andir thinking about programming, so their 1-track 8-bit, though there is one that might work somewhere that I'll try to put up soon! :)

Accepted! We're in urgent need or writers, as for composing it would be nice to have a original score. Since I have experience with music creating I'll consult with you about this.

Are you still accepting people? If so, I would like to apply for a writing position and/or for soundtrack stuff, including making/finding sound effects and composing music.

    Position: Writer and/or Composer
    IGN: Halowazzupman
Why you would like to join: Lord of the Rings has been one of my favourite series since I watched it. And re-watched it. And re- you get the point.
Why are you choosing this position: I love to write, play and compose music, and movie music is one of my favourites :D You can see my writing at: http://www.wattpad.com/user/halowazzupman
    and my music at: http://www.youtube.com/user/halowazzupman
The music on my youtube is made with a program called Roc on Aviary.com, but I've been looking for a reason to compose completely original music for a long time, and this is a good opportunity :)
I also usually need something to compose along to, so videos are awesome :)
    Time Zone: Mountain
How much experience you have with this job: You can see with the above links.
    Age: 14

Damnit, I live on the West Coast (of Canada), but later in the series I would love to join and possibly be a backstage sort-of person, maybe even just fly around and do third-person camera shots.

I'm 14, apparently too mature for my age, I laugh a fair bit and have a few good jokes up my sleeve. Depending on times, I could help record and stuff from the beggining, even if I can't be a companion. By the way, what timezone do you mean by eastern coast? Eastern Time? Atlantic Time?

I think that this is a great idea, but only as a mod. As you said, the best part of Minecraft is that it isn't realistic, and this would get really annoying. It would make for a really good mod though, especially if you want to add more realism to the game. So... I wouldn't want this in the game, but it would make for a great mod. Nice idea!
