    It appears that the Minecraftforum will no longer be closing on the 16th as they have found a new company to takeover.


    However, I still want to use the opportunity to thank everybody for contributing to this resource pack and making it what it is now, and also for kindly welcoming me to the texturing community.


    And following up to my latest post, I still want to raise awareness that my unofficial Dandelion continuation Dandelion With Mods, which extends Dandelion in many ways, and not only in mod support, also has a Discord server. I want to make the server a bit more general, make it feature other Dandelion derivatives as well, like XeroTrinity's Dandelion X from the last post, and let it be a hub for everything Dandelion-related.

    So, as this whole Minecraft Forum closes in 18 days, on the 16th of June, it would obviously be great to have an alternative to this Dandelion forum, to further discuss about Dandelion and its derivatives.

    I would be willing to take this on me - Restructuring my Dandelion With Mods Discord server, which is a very good place to start in my opinion, as it has already connected some people interested in Dandelion. Additionally, Discord has an extremely easy sign up and is well-suited to function as an alternative to a forum.


    @Steelfeathers: Obviously, you must decide whether you want to do some replacement on your own or let me do this


    @everyone else: Give me your opinions about this idea, whether you would enter the server, etc.

    Those are pretty cool textures you have there, I'm thinking about merging some of your textures into my pack as well. Not eliminating yours, obviously, because we pretty clearly have different tastes for things and diversity is good, but this sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe we can sit together and discuss about textures some time.

    Yeeah, I'm aware of that. The fix is almost ready, but I got sidetracked by other projects recently. I will finish it soon, it will probably still take a few days, maybe a week, but I'll set my goal to be finished this week :D

    I have just updated my Dandelion fork for 1.13!

    No content update, focused on straightforwardly porting 1.12 (for which I released a pretty big update as well, also including cool new vanilla items) to 1.13. I had to rename and modify approximately 500+ files, but tested them thoroughly and everything works! (probably not everything but y'know, like most things)

    Obviously bugs can happen so if you spot one it would be kind if you reported it

    Well, first of all, my pack never was for 1.8 in the first place, second of all: why are people not playing the newest versions? Why older versions? I don't get it.

    By the way tho, one can absolutely play older minecraft versions with resourcepacks for newer versions : D

    By the way, regarding the bed model I posted a while ago, I fixed it completely to be able to be used in minecraft, but just as I finished, I obviously wanted to test it in the snapshot for 1.12, and then I had to discover that beds are, due to the now existing 16 beds color-wise, now tile-entities, meaning they won't be able to be modelled anymore.


    Welp, at least you modded-users on 1.10 and 1.11, enjoy it


    Btw, it comes in the next update, which may or may not still take a while. I haven't decided yet =P

    Question to Steel: how did you fix the fences? Did you just change the texture in /blocks or did you do something with the model or blockstates file?

    I've tried messing around with uvlock in the blockstates, and I have to add here: based on how uvlock works in minecraft, this should have fixed it, but it just changed like 5 pixels and otherwise did nothing at all, because, well, did I mention already that Minecraft is so inconsistent that it hurts?

    Anyway, would like to know what you did (since you told me that you fixed it)


    BTW RaphZou, the armors are pretty much the fanciest and prettiest textures included in the pack! : D

    But Minecraft is the most inconsitent §&/%"(/€ out there, so only rotations from 22.5° and 45° are allowed.

    Ayyyyyyy, the work of like 3 days wasted.

    Whatever, I thought this might be interesting, both information- and picture-wise.

    Since the forum is this active again, I thought I might as well show off my modelling skillz:



    Finally getting to finishing the door models I began doing like decades ago. Not quite finished, still some parts and entire doors to do but i have 2 weeks of holidays now, so it's not gonna be long until they are. Please notice the bottom part of the birch door, I've worked hard on this. Not actually, I was just dumb and wasted about 4 hours. Lol.

    Also a bed model. Currently without a blanket just yet, but that's getting finished too.


    Please don't take the first sentence seriously. I'm somehow just happy today, hehe.


    Also, RaphZou: since you (finally, hehe) posted the download link for the armor textures, am I allowed to include them in my resourcepack? You'll get credited, of course! I've already the few which Spider remade, but, you know, it's the original. Sorry Spider ;D

    Based on that armors I re-do them and make some edits.

    I finish the leather (about a year ago), gold and iron armors (Today). The diamond is in 90% of progress and the chainmail is in 50% of progress.

    They look really cool. I'm sure you don't mind when I include them in my pack? :D
