    Just tested things out, and there were no ID conflicts at all. :/
    And from all the options in the config, none of them seemed like they could be responsible for the crashing and closing.

    I wasn't able to get the mod to work in a pack I'm creating at the moment. I added the proper version, with proper Forge version as well (I'm not 100% on that, but pretty sure), and after launching, the pack would close back to the Technic launcher before showing the Minecraft main menu.

    I later removed the METAINF folder form the .zip as a test, and after another launch, a message said I was missing the AE Core...?

    Are there any mods that have been incompatible that you or anyone has known of?

    It's just that most mods haven't updated past 1.6.4 [at least ones I liked], so I've been kinda forced to use that version. Oh well. :/

    For those of you that have played this and got a piece of stone at the start, rather than the paper, or had an empty chest in the cave, that is a problem I'm gonna try and work out. At the moment I'm not 100% sure on what causes this, but I believe it is due to switching game versions, or playing in 1.7 and back.

    Snowmen apparently don't leave snow on the floor in the Plains biome, so I'll be trying to figure out MCEdit and fix that. Note that this map was made purely in Vanilla minecraft from a custom Superflat world, each block placed by hand. :P

    yup, it's the versions.
    The map is now technically still compatible with 1.7, but you won't get all of what the map is intended to have. Playing on 1.8 is recommended.

    A Minecraft world, condensed.
    All you'll need to experience a full survival playthrough, in a Skyblock-esque series of islands.

    In this world, you'll be able to find [or create] the following:

    :DORE: World features_

    After some exploring, mining, or simply looking around, you'll find things you would expect to see in any regularly generated Minecraft world, such as ores, lava, trees of all kind, different [simulated] biomes, the End portal, and a Mineshaft, all within an island in the sky. No underwater dungeons, unfortunately... yet?
    There are also a couple hidden chests among the world. They won't contain too much, but will definitely be nice for you on your adventure in the Skyome.

    :////: [At least] 1 of each crop_

    • Wheat
    • Carrots
    • Potatoes
    • Sugar Cane
    • Melons
    • Pumpkins
    • Cacti
    • Red/Brown Mushrooms
    • Cocoa Beans
    They aren't given to you right away in a starter chest or anything, you'll find all of these crops as you go along in the world.

    They're there, trust me. You'll need to explore a bit. ;)
    There is only one chicken, though. 1 is all you'll need.
    In the original Skyblock Survival Map, and most customized versions of it, you're very limited in terms of mobs. That is apart of the challenge of it, yes, but as someone who loves farming, whether it be crops, items, or animals, this was something I just had to include. :D

    :RFlower: Flower power_

    Every flower that is unattainable through using bonemeal on grass is scattered around the spawning island... and then some; 1 of each tall flower, and plenty of others [including Dandelions, Blue Orchids, White/Pink/Orange Tulips, and Oxeye Daisies]. Just a feature for the completionists out there... and I like the variety...

    I love playing on Skyblock, single-player on server, but always I would never feel comfortable with the limitations of it, primarily only having one type of wood to use. The goal of this world is to have the fun of playing Skyblock, but with... well, more room, for one thing, and an opening of possibility to what you can do and build along with it!
    Everything is placed and counted-out specifically, so make good and wise use of it all!
    If anything vital to a full Minecraft experience is missing, or is impossible to obtain from within this map, please let me know about it! I'll see what I can do to fix that! Exclamation marks!

    If requested, I could try and make a version for 1.7. What makes the map specific for 1.8 at the moment is the inclusion of the new types of stone (Granite, Diorite, and Andesite). To properly make it for 1.7, all that is needed to be done is remove those blocks or replace them with regular Stone. This being said, technically, you could use the map for 1.7.

      1. Open up your documents to the .minecraft folder; in there, you'll see a folder called "saves".
      2. Open that folder up and keep the window open.
      3. Now open up the .zip file you downloaded for the map, called The_Skyome_(version number).zip.
      4. Extract the folder from that .zip file by dragging it into your "saves" folder.
      5. Once the folder is in its proper place, you could delete the .zip folder if you want to. It won't make any effect on anything, unless you would like to keep it for backup in the future.
    Windows 7_

    v1.2_ Changed biome from Plains to Flower Forest, thanks to Beonadryt! (Now snowmen are able to leave snow trails, allows for more types of flowers to be obtained through bonemeal. Because of that, the flowers across the world have been changed: More Dandelions, Blue Orchids, White/Pink/Orange Tulips, and Oxeye Daisies (I felt those were a bit too rarely spawned by bonemeal))

    v1.1_ Fixed End Portal frame orientations. Fixed sheep from suffocating in sand island. Added new hidden chest.

    v1.0_ First release... nothing yet...

    Is this mod still even needed in Vanilla Minecraft at the moment [pre-1.8 snapshots]? I know Mojang lowered the costs of repairing items and naming, and such, but is there still a cap at 40?
