It all seems immaterial to me, as if you don't like a server, don't play on it. Why does Mojang need to interfere at all?

No, they don't. Minecraft is the property of Mojang, so they make the rules. Owning a server doesn't change this in the slightest. How many times does this have to be said? -

Guys, this is just to try and force players to use realms by destroying the server community. We need to stop this by organizing a boycott against Mojang so that they have to relent before they lose money (and we still get 10 years of development first!)

What? Are you serious?
We are given the right to run a servers, we run them, how we want to run them. Mojang has no "Control" over them.
You are given the right to run a server...for a game made by Mojang. They made the game, they make the rules, and breaking them violates the Minecraft EULA. Owning a server doesn't automatically give you the right to do whatever you want with no consequences. -

And yes, in the end - I will ignore these rules. Not because I'm a 'rebel' - because I know what is fair for my server, for my players, because I care about my players as friends and players - not a paycheck, and ensure every single system I add that would breach these rules, is accepted and wanted by my player base.
So you're going to intentionally engage in illegal activities and potentially get your server taken down just because you don't like the rules? -

What are your computer specs ?
I don't know about him, but I'm getting around 85-125 FPS on the map and the game just crashes anyway. It always happens as soon as I finish the tutorial and teleport to the ship. Does it absolutely require 1.4.5? I'm on 1.4.2 right now... -

You seem to be forgetting that everyone here has been a child at one point. I'm really not sure why you think we don't have any perspective on this, because most of us do. It doesn't matter if you have a child or not. And you know what? Protecting children from swear words is impossible anyway. It exists everywhere. You might as well ban cellphones for all the good it's going to do. Banning swearing on a forum will do nothing except get more people in trouble for trivial reasons. It will not protect children. It will not make the forum safer. It will not stop people from being offended. It will do nothing.
As for hate speech...well, it should be fairly obvious why this is wrong. But swears, as long as they are not aimed specifically at someone, don't really harm anyone. In my opinion, the only people who are harmed by it are the people who take it too seriously.
I want to ask you...why do you think swearing is so horrible?

My disease that might kill me in...maybe 10 years or so. It's pretty difficult to deal with, to be honest. That's not the only reason, of course—I like being alone most of the time anyway, and I have a severe social phobia as well.
