It does not violate the EULA at all. The reason being that no matter who in the lobby paid, everyone in said lobby is treated the same way with the paying player having no advantage over other players.
i don't get why people hack. Its supposed to be a family friendly game where fun is the whole game. I wish minecraft servers that are ONLINE mode HAVE to be official minecraft versions FROM the minecraft version area and not like Wurst or LiquidBounce
That is actually one of the things I get the most about MC. The reason people hack is because it's relatively easy and carries a huge reward.
Now onto the topic itself, I don't get how people watch Minecraft youtubers.
I am a Mom of 3 young minecraft enthusiasts. I am not much of a gamer myself, so, can you suggest what kind of mc specific etiquette to teach them? Or link me to some guidelines? Thanks!
There isn't really minecraft specific etiquette, singleplayer is literally a "do whatever you want" adventure. And when it comes to servers, just follow server rules and you'll be fine.
I really like the design bottom most picture. I think it would be a really nice design to use as a wall surrounding the area aroud a castle or something like that.
Well, in a singleplayer sandbox game where the point is to do whatever you want, is there really such a thing as cheating? In singleplayer minecraft you basically make your own rules.
The OP never specifically said kits as in better items in-game, they could be cosmetic kits for all we know. With that said, it does sound like OP is looking to break the EULA because of how talks about kits. Now if I were to tell OP to use the 'new player' kit process [it's probably a block of code] and replace the part about new players with something about ranks I'd be encouraging OP to break the EULA so I'm not going to.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say but the EULA comes into play whenever a server sells anything that affects gameplay whether it's overpriced, underpriced or just the right price. If you can buy an iron sword for 1 cent the server is breaking the EULA. Maybe nobody would bother to report them, and maybe Mojang wouldn't bother to do anything about it, but they are breaking the EULA.
Well yes, they're technically breaking the EULA, but if it isn't enough for Mojang Microsoft to care about, it doesn't really matter. Kind of like speeding, yes it's technically breaking a law, but nobody really cares and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter.
A server selling ranks could very well just be selling them for cosmetics, chat colors, cosmetic items in lobbies, etc. As for kits, this is probably just servers giving the EULA a middle finger. Or they could be cosmetic kits, I've seen some idea thrown around for a server selling different textures/models for weapons but don't know if any server has implemented anything like it. The example let's say there's a minigame with a weapon called the 'axe of enmity' (shitty name I know but deal with it for the example), and its basic model/texture is for example a double headed axe with blood stains. But you could pay for a different weapon skin, like it would function the same as the standard axe but look like it is made of emeralds or something. This wouldn't be breaking the EULA, gameplay is not changed, but it can be said the the server sells weapons for IRL money. But like I said, I don't know of any server that actually does this. And if a server is breaking the EULA you should report it and, well, that's about it.

Honestly i wish mojang would just make it so you can couple minecarts together. Furnace carts will not have a real use until this happens.

I'd say only buy it if you want to play multiplayer tbh.
