Thanks for the feedback guys. I have a crude endermen farm that uses pistons to suffocate and works well. I like the spawners better though because I can go eat or watch tv while it works. Also they are right under my house.
Thanks guys. I would like to know the hostile mob cap and will try to find out myself as well. If I can determine how long it takes my spawner to reach the cap, I will know the time AFK'ing becomes wasteful. I have a Skeleton and Zombie spawner right now turned into XP farms.
So I have created a fairly decent XP farm using a zombie spawner and dropping them down to where one or two punches will kill them. I thought I would be able to AFK with a rubber band around the trigger to continue to hit them as they fall. However, when I came back after only 10-15 minutes, I had died of hunger. I haven't been able to find a way to keep my hunger from going down...is there? How would you AFK at an XP farm? Any help is appreciated.
To make Stone Block Stairs, you now need 6 cobblestone instead of stone blocks. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it doesn't make sense to me. I'm building some mega structures out of stone and stone blocks, and every time I need stairs I have to turn the stone back into cobblestone first.
Creating an auto smelt system seems like that will be very useful. What bugs have you all found? How are you liking the update? Can't wait to play after work.
