So i have recently started running a local Minecraft Server to play with some friends and i am a little confused regarding Mods on server.
1- Is there any advantage installing the mod in the server(i.e. Forge + VoxelMap), since we still have to install them ourselves in our clients?
2- I have read that you can't run Forge and Plugins together on 1.15.2, so if Question 1 is NO, can't we just install the mods we want like Optifine and VoxelMap, and me being the owner i could install Plugins on the server? This way we have mods and plugins?
I am trying to use Optifine and Forge(+mods) at the same time, but i can only either run one or the other, i think it has something to do with the configurations which only appears either Minecraft 1.13.2-Optifine or Minecraft 1.13.2-Forge. I really need help please.

When i put the Optifine with other mods, it says optifine is not a valid mod
