Ok.... Is it me or are the enchantments really crappy lately? I can have level 30 all day long and I see things like unbreaking 1 or smite 1 or fire protection 1.... etc... Then when I remember getting two or three enchantments at a time, I only get one enchantment.
Is this because of adding lapis? So now we have to enchant 10 swords to combine then using more exp just to get better enchants? So basically wasting every diamond you can just to get one sword or piece of armor.. Books the same way... I have to now combine a boat load of books to get one ok enchantment and then use MORE xp to add it to something... It makes you do 50 times the work and use 50 times the resources to get normal enchants (like it used to be with ONE 30 level enchant)
NEXT ISSUE. I have a village in the Desert Biome next to the water, made up of acacia trees.... If I save it at night. Exit and reload the game, I get a zombie seige EVERY TIME.
so... open, seige, kill save exit.... open seige kill save exit... Thats not normal. Also, they seem to spawn inside of blocks and get stuck. Most happen inside the crops and they get stuck in the blocks until you hit them and then pop out...
It takes awhile to kill them because of the massive lag. I still cant believe they are trying to fix little bugs instead of the big bug that makes the game unplayable. The time lag. All entities are 1/4 the speed. Except myself and oh yeah, baby zombies are still very fast. I will post pics soon.
For some reason, mobs are very slow and growing items are also slow. Breeding is taking a very long time. My villagers are moving about an inch at a time. Iron Golems same.
My character moves just fine. Dropped items like seeds or food are slow to appear and even slower to add to my inventory. I planted food about 7 day/night cycles ago and melons and pumpkins haven't even grown past baby stem stage. Its almost like everything in the game is moving about 1/8 the speed that my character and the day/night cycle is. Mob spawners found, once lit up and killed mobs. Return to darkness stop working and turn into a pig. The world I am in is new (to take advantage of the new stuff) so I went back to my very first world.
ALL my saves are now slow. Thats f'd up.
not to mention the MILLIONS of crashes. I have lost so much time due to save freezes or when the game just crashes to the ps3 menu. I can not believe that this is such a small issue to Mojang. I really can't believe that they released this game with this many issues. I worked in tech support for tax software. I just can't, I mean just CANT believe they found zero issues before releasing the update. With it being released before Christmas and then taking a vacation from Dec 23 to Jan 3. I'm all for vacations, but to release a very buggy update that cripples the program to unusable status during the Christmas Vacation holidays? smh. I have ALWAYS said, they need the option to IGNORE the update and continue to play. This way people at least can wait until they feel comfortable installing the update.
As of June 2016, they had over 106,000,000 MILLION copies of MC sold. 53000 A DAY. 20-26 dollars a pop not including skins or packs, or merchandise. Sold for 2.5 BILLION dollars to Microsoft. And their QA department is made up of what? 6 people and a llama? I mean for petes sake. How small has the company remained for them to take a vacation. Did Microsoft not hire more people to staff the company then just invested 2.5 billion into?
here is a suggestion to you. LEARN HOW TO PLAY without needing glitches... "GLITCHES" are bugs in the game and need to be fixed and removed. as he said YOU clearly are upset that someone wants it removed because YOU use it. your logic is in another reality. you have nothing more to say other than do't play there. lol you sir need to run on back to the game and use it as long as you can because it WILL be patched i will bet anything on it now run along kiddo.
See, your logic is flawed here. Learning how to play in a SANDBOX game? A game in which you can do whatever you want, (almost)? I mean, building contraptions to speed up farming animals, food, mobs etc in in the spirit of creativity. Ok, tnt canons? I mean, that is what? allowed? I am sure the designers didn't think this is what it would be used for.
Where would you draw the lines? Glitching diamonds and materials, I can see there being an issue. But a glitch into seeing through blocks is almost no different than using a helmet enchantment to see better in the water. Or a flotation enchantment to hover in the air, a backpack that lets you glide. Potions that let you walk and swim in lava.
Anyone can make an argument for glitches. Hell, mumbojumbo makes a good living off of finding the glitches and making videos of it and your going to tell a person he doesn't know how to play?
PS3, PS4, Xbox360 and Xboxone. = Glitches. Pc = Mods. lol. According to the developers creepers were born from a glitch. So, didnt they patch it? No. Why? Because it is a sandbox game. If a person doesn't like a glitcher, kick them out. Its that simple. The advantage of a xray is not as great as people think. Ooo, caves. Spawners... oh no... game ruined. lol.
Here is what I have noticed. When I step out of a minecart, I sink/phase through the block behind the cart. Any drops do this weird float around you thing and seem to come near you like the exp orbs do, but not all the time.
Minecarts. Well, before I used to get in a minecart and push forward, no redstone rails etc and it was ok speed. Now, it is deathly slow, like hurling my controller at the screen slow. Making it almost required to have red stone rails.
Once I was stuck in a 10 min per save problem where everytime it saved, it would literally take 10 minutes to finish. I have had crashes just by fighting mobs. I would it one and my ps3 will restart. This is recent. (it isn't a ps3 issue as other games are fine) Villager breeding has been capped in my opinion. I have read quite a bit and the cap was 50 or so. I have older worlds that I went back and checked and counted 50+. Now when they breed they stop breeding at about 25 or so. Yes I know the mechanics have changed, but the hearts show all the time but none. I kill one and one will be born. I didn't read on any cap change but something is very off about it. (yes the mechanics have changed, I know) I have tried on multiple worlds and even a superflat world and it seems to get stuck at 25.
Why after these past couple of years are more problems appearing? I can't believe that Microsoft doesn't have the resources to debug this game. There are tickets outstanding for many months and the problem is "can not reproduce" umm ok. Many users can but a lone tech agent can't.
It seems every update breaks something. They need to rename it to Minecraft Beta edition. Minecraft was in my opinion, never intended to be a pvp game. But it seems all the time and effort has been trying to cater to the PC PVP craze.
I dont understand why we cant get better crafting options. Like a different bed color using colored cotton. The ability to pick and choose your own skin pack, meaning, a block from this one and one from that one and so on.. More uses for certain items. Clothing. Why do I need to wear armor all the time. Why do I have to have a skin pack to change it? How about clay blocks that are actually the colors they say they are. A Blue clay block is purple and so on.
Hell, how long have people been griping about the coal furnace minecart being useless. Too much coal and not enough power. No engine cart to haul loads? A minecart that runs on steam, ie coal and water etc... to pull loads.
One of my biggest gripes is everything should be stackable. I mean really. They want to tell me, you can stack 64 gold BLOCKS. And I cant stack bowls? Is this a theoretical weight issue or space? Because either way is f'd up. How about double enderchests? Or a backpack option? The ability to add more blocks to your selection bar. When building I might be using 10+ items and it is a major pain to switch back and forth.
How about a bigger map. I have always heard it is a processing issue. Well, I can play Asassins Creed with an almost unlimited area, or shooter games with a bigger map system than this game. Ok. The Ps3 and the PS Vita are both the same map size. I not asking for ps4 xbox1 sizes but somewhere in the middle would be nice.
And to end this rant, my biggest gripe ever, the ability to not update an existing world. You can switch between versions on the pc but not ps3.
I have so much time and effort into worlds only to say, I am **** out of luck to add elements into a world. Yes, the crafting areas get updated. Why? I have a survival island map from like tu 30. And my crafting table has items in it that I can't have access too, so why put them in there. Frustrated for awhile with this game.
Yes I get it, I can upgrade to ps4 etc. True. But when I buy a new car, I don't want to have to worry if a wheel is going to break off, just because a new tank of gas gets added.

I helped a friend build one and any water source near or within like 128 blocks on all sides (not sure on total number) will take away from mob farms. Any single block of water will take away from possible spawning.
they will only spawn if their spawning block (the solid block underneath the water) is between Y (vertical) level 46 and 62. Kinda like how slime chunks
are.
NOW, with that being said there is an open issue on this. If this still isn't working for you, go and put a vote on this.

My ps gold headset decided to break into 1000 pieces (piece of garbage) so I no longer have a mic. I like to explore and gather supplies and build. I like to help when I can. I dont mind others having a mic or talking. Just a quiet and easy going person, not looking to change the world.
I like to gather my own stuff and earn my way. Would prefer other worlds because my internet is not so good hosting but ok when visiting others. I live in the boonies. Dislike griefers. I am an average player and not some amazing artist. Easy, Normal, Hard doesn't matter to me.

I really hate the update.
